They even threatned that I had a court date and time set for the following day. And they could take my drivers licence which I need for my employment they knew everything about me my name address social and birthdate. How scary is that.

Ever since I left 5 ranting messages per day for 2 days in a row I have not received one call from this phony idiot on my direct work line or my cell phone and I announced my name every single time.  I must say it was quite enjoyable to turn the tables on him for a change.  I would suggest anyone who has been harassed by this criminal do the same and continue to berate him until he stops calling you.

I got the same call from a Shane Watson today.  Saying exactly the same thing.  it was  on my personal cell phone and was left a message by a Shane Watson with an annoying accent with Hudson law firm threatening me with legal action for 3 criminal allegations.  He demanded I call him back immediately and referenced the last 4 digits of my SSN# or i would have to deal with the repercussions.  I called it back but it went to a voice mail i left a message.  No information was given, but now i have seen your story i might just have to put that number into an auto dialer and call him 30 times a day. the number was 206-203-7096.

These guys are financial terrorists - and I don't throw that term around lightly - they somehow managed to leave me voicemails on my cellphone w/out the phone ringing.

At any rate, I changed my message and I it now says that any fraudsters, threatening calls, from the US or overseas will be recorded and turned over to the proper authorities - which I've done through ic3.gov.  

So far, the calls magically ceased...do you ever wonder by the way why they only read your the last 4 digits of your ssn???

Now they've got my google voice # which like an idiot I used to have on my cellphone's voicemail...

I was contacted by this number at 6 am this past Saturday, 01/15 on my personal cell phone and was left a message by a Shane Watson (with an East Indian accent) with Hudson law firm threatening me with legal action for 3 charges of fraud.  He demanded I call him back immediately and referenced the last 4 digits of my SSN#.  This male contacted me again today, 01/18 at my direct work number but from a 425 area code and demanded I call him back immediately with my personal information or face the consequences??  This same male has contacted me directly on my work line for the past 3 weeks but announcing himself as officer Jack (he had the same East Indian accent).  I threatened to contact the FTC, local police and AT&T to report him and he continued to berate me on the phone.  He continued to berate every person who answered our switchboard at work and threatened to bring the federal agents to arrest me at my place of business.....although when I asked if he was an FBI agent he did not know what the Federal Bureau of Investigations was nor did he ever identify the agency he represented nor the "debtor" he was trying to collect for by harassing me.  
Today was the last straw for me.  I contined to call 209-279-6308 back and got no answer the first 2 times I called....not even an answering machine.  On my 3rd try he picked up as Jack and not Mr. Shane Watson and I turned the tables on him and berated him repeatedly that he couldn't get a word in.  I told him I am reporting him to my local police department of which my brother is the police chief and that I already filed a complaint with the FTC and that I would locate him myself and shut his scam operation down if he didn't stop harassing me or anyone else.  I promised to contact him several times a day to let him know how annoying I could be in exchange.
The number he originally called me from as Jack was 760-652-9213 which is a Southern California location in Encinitas in San Diego county.  It appears he is purchasing phone numbers to call from
to avoid being located perhaps?

These guys keep calling me everyday claiming they are calling on behalf of a police officer. They claimed they have 3 criminal "litigations" being pressed against my social security number. The voice message made absolutely NO SENSE, I'm reporting this number to the authorities

I have been harrassed alot by these guys. Threatning to send the cops to my work when I demanded paperwork to be mailed to me to prove who they are. I gave in and sent them my card info. They have yet to deduct because I set it up to be paid tomorrow. But I got another call today saying i owe more money. I investigated this time and found all these blogs. I called my local police station. They sais it is definatly a scam. Thank god I was able to cancel my card on time before they were able to get anything from me. Thanks

I keep getting a phone call from this company telling me they are a Law firm handling a case in which I have been named in a law suite i am on of 3 people and that i owe $5900 to cash advance payday services.  when i ask for the contact information and account number they tell me to have a good day they will see me in court and I will go to jail....help please

I just got a call from these clowns too demanding me to pay them "x" amount or they were filing federal charges against me.  They claim to be with the Hudson Law Firm in California.  However, their area codes they have called me from or have given me are in Texas and Washington.  My bet is they get false numbers through someplace like Google.  Whichever...they have ALL my personal information.  I am scared speechless.  I am taking your advice and going to the police.  I am also filing a fraud alert on the credit report.  Thank you for posting your comments...it assured me what I suspected was fraud -- my attorney with them is named John Smith.  Damn...they should at least be creative in their names.  Good luck everyone and I sure look forward to receiving the federal law suit.  :-)  I bet it never happens.

Legit collectors, per the FDCPA http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/credit/cre27.pdf , *MUST* :
1. tell you who they are if you ask them but you *must* ask
2. send you paperwork within 5 days of initial contact which must include the $amount and the name of the creditor
3. take you to court if they threaten it (unless it's illegal to do so) and it's considered harrassment and *ILLEGAL* if they threaten but then don't do it.
Any legit collector who calls and threatens court action without sending paperwork but demands payment via card or Western Union *DESERVES* to be treated like a scammer.

I'm getting this call from this exact man and he keeps leaving messages harrassing me and what I don't understand is how he got information on me my cell#, my email and even info on a person I use as my reference...Someone please help me he keeps call at like 5 am Hawaii time and constantly blwoing up my phone with threats that my social second has 3 allegations on it and that if I don't pay them $599 they are going to sue me and all kinds of stuff....

I have received the same call and I know that I didn't owe anyone anything, So I went to the Police Station and Officer Eubanks looked up the number and stated it was a scam, Told me don't give them any information over the phone. If you call this number into the police station and let them know you are being harrased they will call the local police station in the area and have these guys arrested better yet if they don't have their green cards they are being departed, so don't let them fear you into giving your bank information over the phone, just have their butts shiped back to their country and let them play games over there.


Not all people are stupid

This dingbat keeps calling saying he is Jack Brown from Hudson Law Firm and asking for one of my employees. Every time I tell him that she is a temporary employee and that I don't see her he just harasses me for her contact information. I keep telling him that it's against the Federal Privacy Act and that all I could do is take down his number, but it'll be a month or so before I see the person he's asking for.

According to everything else I've see, Hudson Law Firm and Jack Brown is a complete SCAM.
