Blatant Spammer - saw this email in my Spam quarrantine today. They spoofed the sender address to appear from my domain (IP of sender was in Taiwan)

Here is the message I got:

Hello fellow spam victims!

The following line from the full headers shows that a computer using IP 88.24.65.22 was used to send the spam which I received:

This IP address belongs to TELEFONICA DE ESPANA, which is the ISP of the person using this computer.  This computer is probably part of a spambotnet operated by the actual criminal, who can be perhaps traced via the phone number mentioned in the spam.

This appears to be used by Telco International Telecom Ltd. in Seattle, WA, so the criminal may be a subscriber to this company.

I got this same spam email.  I called the number just to give this guy a hard time.  When the call connects, a message comes on from some idiot with a strong accent stating that you have reached the University Degrees Program or something like that.  Then he wants 2 phone numbers... one for evening contact and one for daytime so they can call you back.  What a crock!

If you have a form as a method of contacting, and if the form is not protected, a hacker can use it. It is a simple way of prevent this. Find a good webdesigner and it cen be fixed.
