Got a fax wanting 20 fuel pumps shipped to Nigeria with credit card payment.  Scam

I kept getting this scam also.  Finally I decided to play it out.  I gave them a price, they gave me a bad credit card number, I claimed it was good, and then I sent a box of dog sh@t to them.  Sure it cost me $8.00 in shipping, but I?ve never heard from them again.

i received a call from this number at about 1408 pdt. didn't answer it, they did not leave a message.

relay call from some guy named kenny...e-mail address kennyparts@live.com     wanted (30) RE62001 filters, says he has a card to purchase them...I just tell them that if they do not touch borders with our state, I can  not do business with them.

The best way to stop them is for vendors to keep posting things like this.

We don't do that anyway, but glad I didn't waste my time.

Have gotten this fax for John Deere Parts 3 times, three different names, current is John King, jking rep and co. in Seattle WA. How do we stop them?

JUST RECEIVED ONE ASKING FOR 800 SPARK PLUGS.

Fax came from Carroll Foster looking for 80 Donaldson Filters, came from fax # 888-481-6795, but wanted response to 206-309-0864.

Yup - I got the same fax.  If you notice it came from a fax server.  

FYI - They may also send you  a check and let you cash it before you send it.  LOOK OUT - you are not safe.  The check that you receive is a "Washed Check" (do a search to learn more) or a copied check that has been changed and printed on a color laser printer.  The check may clear but once the bank learns of it they will pull the money out of your account.  Hence you get it from both ends.  You spend money to buy product to resell - you put the check in the bank - the money is removed from the bank - and your short the cost of the product and the checks amount.

This is such a laim scam.  If someone tries to pull this on you, here's what you should do.  Go along with it.  Give them a price for the product, let them give you a CC number, and tell them that their order has shipped.  Then ship them a bix filled with Dog Sh*t. It might cost $5.00 for shipping but it's worth it.  They won't bug you again.

Same call , 30 bp monitors , it is a scam , do not run the card.

Received fax requesting 30 blood pressure monitors.  The name used with this order was Carroll Foster and wanted confirmation sent to mimirep101@gmail.com Found this website and informed all members of our company to ignore.  Fax came from 877-811-1005 but requested that we fax back to 206-309-0864

This same (John Scofield)scammer/crook attempted to use my credit card # to purchae 800 motorcraft spark plugs from a CA auto parts/dealership.  My identity, SS was stolen and sold from a countrywide employee and this is the first fraudlent purchase attempted with my ID/credit card.
Any other information  you may have regarding this scam would be greatly appreciated.  Has anyone actually made a sale or spoken to "John Scofield"?

this was the email i received to send parts too and yes it is a scam!!!!!

This is a fax looking for parts to send to Nigeria. I have had this before. Seems like a good business decsion to send them parts but most are using stolen credit cards to pay for the parts. This is a scam!!
