They called my work, saying they were from Fast Cash regarding my loan request.  Never made a loan request.  Have been inundated the last two days with calls from multiple numbers.  I have blocked them but then more come up all with the same sort of message.  Never applied with any of them.  The must stop.

I got 5 calls in 3 min telling me that I have been approved for a loan and to call them back if I want it!! They have been calling me for 2 weeks. Obviously if I wanted it I would call! Just IGNORE THEM!!

Lady stated that she was doing a survery on Sharebuilder performance.  Ask demographic information, including recommendations for using sharebuilder.  Ask to confirm which company had bought sharebuilder.  Called the number back and received a 1-800 number "marketing firm" voice mail.  Reporting this to Sharebuilder for possible fraud.

Dom-without-a-dick-spencer scammer!!!!! Nobody will arrest you. You have to go to court first. This scammer always changes his number. Officer domonic spencer I hope the laws of karma catch up with you .

This number called me relentlessly and harassed me once I finally answered.

Scam caller. A very rude Jack Brown with threats and foul language.

Have been scammed before from these guys.  Always say they're going to hall me to court, pay up now, so I don't answer any more.  They don't leave messages, so I know it's a scam.  Don't answer!  Don't pay! Don't give any information to these folks! All scammers!

I also got a called from a Daniel Carter about a pay day loan. I have never gotten on of those loans. When I told him he said that I was lying and was going to send the police to my job if I didn't pay what I owed. His accent was very heavy and I couldn't understand him. When I asked to speak to a supervisor he got very upset and started cussing at me. I told him until they can produce paperwork I wasn't paying for anything. He told me that he wished me luck and he will see me in jail. Scam!!!!!

They are scammers - print out this page to give to your HR Dept or manager to show that you are being harassed by a scammer.  Report the calls to the FTC, the FBI and your state's Attorney General.  

When "Daniel Carter" calls back, tell him that the FBI is recording and monitoring all calls he makes to you at your work and home (and cell, if they're calling it too).

Call your financial institution(s) and at least one of the three credit agencies (Experian, Equifax, TransUnion) and ask them to put fraud alerts on your accounts/credit files.  You may also want to call your local Social Security office for further advice if you are worried they have your SSN.

Bottom line - a legitimate debt collector would have no problem mailing (not emailing or faxing) a debt validation letter to you proving you owe a debt to them.  These scammers try to scare people into paying for non-existent debts, debts which have already been paid off or even debts that are outwith the statute of limitations for collection in your state.

Keep getting calls from a Daniel Carter or detective Carter saying a complaint from officer Jay Clark and I needed to contact them asap or I was going to be in big trouble. now they are calling my job how do I get rid of this so they don't steal my identity

These people are really scam artist. American Brothers and Sisters, what you do when this number shows up on your phone please!!!! disregard this number. I got this fool to say that they are a scam company. Don't even answer when they call, because it's not worth it.

I got a call from 206-317-3128. Mr.Daniel Carter said that he was from Federal department and there was a complain against me. I asked him what the complain was. He would not tell me. He said I would get arrest warrant. I told him good luck and hung up.

Same as all comments above, a Daniel Carter or Cotter left a msg after calling 3x in less than 1 1/2 minutes stating there were complaints against my name and personal information. Stated if I did not call back I would be behind bars and "find yourself in the trouble". Last sentence "All I can say is good luck".
I've researched enough to think this is a scam but it scared me to death beforehand.

Recieved this call saying he was a shierrif that he was gonna call my police department and have me arrested and that if, I didn't call back I would be in big trouble. I called back 7 times they just hung up. I got someone and ask for something in the mail, they tell me they can't send it. are you for real....

Received this cal again today, hung up, they called back hung up again without answereing. cal 5 times in 1 1/2 minutes.  Turned the answering machine, didn't call again. Won't leave a message.

Just got four calls. from this #.  I had cmpany and hung up the first time 'cause I didn't recognize the #.  Called back in a second.  Same thing again.  20 min later, called again asking for someone I never heard of. Hung up.  Called right back and said I was reporting them to the FBI as we speak.  See what happens.

I love how they change their names and numbers. Back in July of 2007 I got a call at work that stated I had to pay $890 by 4pm or would be arrested. They would not tell me who they were and sounded Indian. I of course panicked as I have never been in trouble. After I calmed down, I did a Google search and found out they were scammers. Plus, I had never taken out a payday loan. I had pre qualified but declined due to high interest. They then started calling every 2 to 5 minutes all day. I worked for a doctor who had phone calls forwarded to her after work. She was upset as they called all night long and threatened her as well. Long story short, I lost my job. I went to law enforcement, FTC, FBI and nothing can be done. They are out of the country and change information to much. I had to lock my credit report down and buy a burner phone until 2010. I still have the burner phone just for the purpose of these calls. They started up again (saying I pre qualified for a $5,000 loan but I had to pay $200 up front) so I let them know I know they are a scam. I used a number blocking system and kept calling them back as soon as they hung up on me. Well its been a week and they haven't called me back.  Just be aware it is a scam. You are not being arrested and basically you have to take care of yourself as there is no one else out there to help us.

This number belongs to an individual who uses information obtained from credit bureaus to get people to pay money to him. Even if he has information about an actual debt you have he is not associated with any actual collection agency. He will keep any money you pay to him. He attempted to collect money from me to pay a credit card that did not belong to me. Using the information he had on me I was able to dertermine how he had illegaly obtained this information. If you receive a call from this number I suggest letting him give you his pitch and then report it to your state's attorney general. He is breaking numerous laws. If enough people complain he will be stopped.

got another phone call from some man named Daniel Carter saying he was with LLC Law FIRM AND SAID he needed to talk to me about my ss#. I told him to tell me what it was about and he said he needed my ss# to verify that he was talking to the right person, so I told him to go ahead and tell me the ss# that he has and I would tell him if it was right or not. He said it doesn't work that way cause hes not for sure if its me,and I told him "well you called me and knew my name so tell me the # or stop calling me." He hung up after that.

I just received a call from this number 206-317-3128 and the messages was from an Arabic sound man who identified himself as Officer Daniel Carter or Cotter, I could not understand the last name.  He stated that he was with LLC Law Firm and that I have legal consequences against me and that I did not want him to send investigators after me. I needed to call him back as soon as possible as he needed to collect this money.

I am so sick of these calls, I get them all day long. Something has to be done.

Now they are saying they are LLC Lawfirm. I know they are full of crapp. I just sit back and laugh when my husband gets the phone and prtends to be east indian too. Its too funny when he asks the when the 7-11 will be back open because he prefers the slurpies to the phoney phone calls. hahaha

I am tired off them calling my phone they are a fraud and just want money I am no going to pay any thing.

Same here.  Got a message from a mr. Carter at some legal services and then he said he was with the sheriffs department. Same thing said I had a payday loan with those two companies fast cash and payday advance which i have never had.  Said that in 2 hours they would be taking the lawsuit to criminal court and I would be thrown in jail with my family and me behind bars.  Said that my kind of people....i immediately interrupted him and said my kind of people and told him his kind of people needed to die of cancer. Well I got mad and called the number back several times hanging up each.  Well I got this very rude message from this same person telling me to F myself, that he would come and f me and my family.  What can a person do about this kind of abuse?

Dominick Spencer called me today saying that I owe a payday loan that I never paid back. He would not give me a name or the name of the loan company. He stated that they have a law suit against my social and would send the police to my house. He also stated that he would take the monies out of my account. I told him if he did he would be going to jail. I also reponded by telling him to send my documentation regarding my loan as I always pay my bills.

This is the documentation that was sent to me. It doesn't even identify when or where the loan was taken out. I responded to this notification with no further response from them.

I received a message on  my cell phone on the 26th of April at 135 pm telling me that I must call  the NY police Dept and ask for  Dominic Spencer. When I called I was asked for my name .I told him I wanted his name first so I could call the NY police and have them ask for Officer  Dominic Spencer. He said is this  James Elliott ? When I replied Yes this is he then said ok  this is James Elliott Mr M@#*her f@#*ker .I said what? and hung up. I called back and a guy answered and said "Oh its M@#*$er F@#*ker.
