I got a message on craigslist from him too. He is still doing it.

Got a reply to an ad for furniture on Craiglist.  The first was somewhat suspicious, so I gave a quick reply.  The second is clearly a scam....very similar to others:

I just got the same email - what a joke! 2nd time in 2 weeks I get Craigslist replies from scammers - it's so frustrating!!!

I live in Whiteville, NC and this same guy said he wanted to buy my bass. I noticed it was weird because he did not want to negotiate a price after I said I would take less for my bass and he was going to send a mover to pick up my bass? That sounded like a dumb idea especially when I could just order a brand new one out of a magazine with less hassel.

I looked his name up and I find out that I am not the only one that has been contacted by him. Here is our conversation:

I got the same scam email and I was selling a electric guitar. Geez,this has got to be mail fraud at the least ,can anybody do anything to get this guy busted?

Craigslist scammer....want to send money order and use a shipping company....why?  because "she's" on her Honeymoon....The Honeymoon part is a nice twist (I'm getting bored with the out of country on business replies) and deserves something for the effort.....maybe a few years where the sun don't shine
