hmm...i see other people have been getting calls from this number as well, how it is for them to use a service that shows the same "ougoing" number for anyone who uses it...i can see the appeal.  these b*****ds actually made the mistake of calling my grandfather and givin him crap about his computer having a virus, i've been a computer expert my entire life and i did a little fiddling to find out if what this guy was sayin was legit, and much...wait i mean "NOTIHNG" at all to my amazement, it wasn't...not a damn word, this guy was playin my grandpa, i told my grandpa to hand me the phone and he said to the guy "here you can talk to my computer expert" and all the sudden i heard a..."click" when i put the phone to my ear...i was like, did you really just hang up on me you F@#$%.  Most recent information i've gathered about the number is that it came from somewhere in seattle, WA, now please note that this info is "MOST RECENT".  They could have been anywhere in the past, and this is probably not the last place they will call people from, i will continue digging on this and if there is ANY way for me to help in the effort of puttin these punks where they belong, i will do it, so if any of you come up with anything new that i don't have yet, please don't hesitate to bring it to the table, i will be checking this site periodically. It was nice to meet you all, i'm glad to see there are still some voices out there.

Called this morning about 830; left message, heavy accent and hard to understand, but said the call was for "Mary" from what sounded like the Seattle Meditation Center. No Mary lives here....

All I get is "dead air" when I pick up the phone.  From reading other entries it seems that I've been lucky NOT to have actually engaged them in a phone call.  Why in the world do some people get their kicks harassing people with junk phone calls?  The best I could do was to make a report through the Do Not Call Registry but I doubt that DNCR will do anything about it.  Oh well, I tried.

A complete scam. Person in a thick Indian accent claimed to be calling from "Support One Consulting" and said they detected downloads to my computer that may have contained a virus, and they wanted me to download a fix. Asked them twice how they got my number, and they said, "Through our service." I've never done business with any such entity, however, and, honestly, what they were purporting to know as fact is technologically impossible.

Reported them to the FCC. At least the guy didn't hang up outright.

I am getting multiple calls a day from this #. No one is on the phone, and they don't leave a message.

I receive calls from this number at 7:00 am and there is no id of who is calling.  I call the number and the call does not go through.  The number calls as late as 9:30 pm. Again, I call the number back and there is nothing, no answer, no identification at all.

Received hang up on message machine (a physical one that sits on the desk). *69 = 206 336-7211. Same story as many comments above--cannot call number back.

Placed Call block on 206-336-7213, 206-336-7210 and now 206-336-7211. Is not Skype but a overseas Romania clearing house using Skype to make numbers look local. Do not call them back FCC warned me.Do not give info of any kind are answer pick up phone calls well only intensified when doing so.

this number was calling my place of business repeatedly, i told the guy straight up that you are a scam and to remove us from the list.  but this was the third time they called, the first two times the line was dead.

we have had several calls from this number,starting at 6 a.m.

This call came from Seattle, WA. The female had an accent, perhaps Asian, and was hyper-perky or on pcp, speed, or whatever. She asked for me by name and informed me that she was calling on behalf of Direct Buy. "Congratulations, you have been selected...... $50,000...." Then, she started with the personal questions, "Are you single, married,......" I hung up at that point, knowing it was probably a scam.

Just a moment later, the phone rang again, but a different number appeared on the Caller ID: 425-111-4311. Also, a weird number was at the bottom of the Caller ID screen: M102909580000178. What is this? I answered, hoping the call was from a different person, but no, it was the same female. She wanted to know what had happened, why were we cut off (I'd hung up on her!). I told her I was busy and could not talk. She's calling tomorrow. Of course, I won't be answering. By the way, during this day, I received 2 calls from another scammer and 5 calls from a different one. I think these last two scammers are working together. Each scammer had called me yesterday, approx. 50 mins. apart and did the same thing today. What the phone hell is going on?! Must be the holidays...

4AM call from this number, tried to call it back - no connection "This cellular provider is not.....".

these people called regarding windows viruses on our computers and said they were working with microsoft to fix our computers.   as soon as i told them my son in law works for microsoft they hung up.

Received a message from this number saying to press 1 to re-activate my debit card.  Clearly a scam!

got the scam call today at 11:10am.  B*****ds took 10 cents from me.  (prepaid phone.)  I got a scam text last month claiming to be Wells Fargo as well, found a forum where other folks were getting texts from the same scammer.

THIS IS A SCAM CALL.  Do NOT respond.  If you receive repeated calls, report it to your phone company and law enforcement.

Received a call on my cell at half-past midnight from this number (206 336-7211).  Automated message "from Wells Fargo" about "suspending my account."  Interesting to note that earlier call reporters have it as being from "Washington Mutual" - an entirely different bank which has nothing to do with Wells.

First, I don't have a Wells Fargo account, and second no legitimate bank would (a) call cell phones with an automated message (there are laws against that), and (b) call after midnight.  Hence I am sure that THIS IS A SCAM CALL.  The angle is no doubt to persuade the unwary to reveal their account numbers and PIN codes via automatic entry.  This allows the scamsters to create fake cards that can be used to empty your account(s).

DO NOT CALL THESE PEOPLE BACK.  DO NOT RESPOND TO THEIR CALLS.  If you have already been caught out, call your bank IMMEDIATELY to alert them to the fraud that is about to happen.

Missed a call from this number when I called back it didn't even ring or anything.

He said he was from google maps, but I don't believe it. he was asking me for the physical location of our business, and I wouldnt give it to him, because I was asking about changing the phone number that is incorrect first and he said it was changed... and it isn't? Not sure why they are fishing for information but he was obviously Indian so I am guessing an outsourced job?

The call could come from GHANA - West Africa - as a Skype outdial.  My adopted daughter used a 'friend's phone to call me today - and it was THAT #.............so her friend has got to be involved in telemarketing calls with a 206 #.  Googling it - I found out all this other information.  I pray she doesn't let them call me again - and when SHE calls me tomorrow for another reason - I'm going to give her this heads up.  Oh my - what did I get myself into?  There is no longer privacy ANYwhere in the world.    A disgruntled yiayia :(

This number called and said they wanted to talk about my PC Microsoft software.  I said I had an Apple.  Got a dial tone immediately.  Do not give them any important information.

Caller said he was with Senior Health.  Wanted to talk to the diabetic person in the home.  When told there was none, he asked if anyone had sleep apnea (no).

I wanted to buy a certain breed of puppy. I received an email regarding this puppy and suspected it to be a scam, so I had the person sending the email call me before i would purchase anything. They called from this number and i knew right then it was a scam because he told me he was in Texas and his dumb self called from an Seattle number. oh, and i DID NOT BUY ANYTHING. :)

got a called from this #206-336-7211.  Did not leave a message.  I don't answer my phone with numbers I don't know any ways unless they leave me a message than I"ll return their calls.

keep getting messages calls from this number, claims it is about Washing Mutual bank, now defunct.  I did not or never had an account with WAMU
