I got a response to a CL ad from kaylac62@gmail.com but the reply-to is, once again, michlong154@gmail.com. Says "sent from my iPhone (216) 282-769. One digit short, fool. (I know it isn't the same phone as this thread is about, but it mentions the same email address, and people might be interested.

I was selling a radio on craigslist and recieved the same email. She emailed me more than 5 times. She also sent me a check which I could clearly see was a phony. I have printed out all the emails and I have the check is there anyone I can report it to.

got same thing trying to sell on craigslist. used the name Ana Merry Jack.
anytime some one wants to pay extra...it's a red flag.
Thank God i did my research...BEWARE OF THE SCAMS...ESP. heard nowdays paypal is even used as a scam. so check to make sure.

On 1/21/13 received a scam message on Craigslist from ayo.prince1@gmail.com. Thank goodness I looked into this before responding! What horrible people!

Not a call but an email from a Craigs list ad.  Same as what you are showing here.  Googled the email address on the response to the add and came to this site. email address from them was jayrayjwhite@gmail.com   and   wforyou120@gmail.com

Best advice for Craigslist "LOCAL only, NO text messages, NO Paypal". You're correct, this will get rid of most of the scammers. I mean really, why would someone in California buy a piano from someone in New Jersey? ....and they want to pay double, plus $$$ for shipping. If people stop & think you can't miss the red flags. Stay away from Paypal & Western Union & you're laughing.

You pretty much cannot post stuff to Craigs list without getting one of these emails.  Listen to the warnings and ONLY only *ONLY* deal with LOCAL real people you can meet in person.  Craigs recommends this because it is the best way to avoid 99% of these scams.

Remember you can also take a cashiers check and call the bank it is drawn upon to verify the check is a real check drawn by a real person on that day

Just learned this scam is run by Ron George, a criminal, from Seattle.    Always ahead of the law.  Trys to scam people on craigs list.  Uses the phone number 206-337-3798.

feederbrandon17@gmail.com also uses the email wforyou120@gmail.com. Report as scam if contacted.

After you think you have cash the check, it has realy bounced.
Then you send the money and they are gone.
It is another craiglist scam.
I like to mess with them and get as many checks as they will send then turn them in to Fed Ex or the post office. Someone need sto try and stop them fromscamming people!!
