This board is simply a sounding board for people to vent and inform others of scam telemarketing calls they receive.  There is no authority associated with the 800notes site to stop these callers.  In order for people to collectively stop these type calls they must act together - and TAKE ACTION!  It doesn?t do any good to complain about a caller on this board unless you then take the next step and do something about it!  The caller ID number is usually a ?Spoof Number? ? A Fake!  Never, never, ever engage the caller or call back the number.  The false robocallers will then capture your number as a ?live one? and use it over and over and sell it to other scammers.  The same goes if it prompts you to ?press a key? to ?opt out?  of their calling lists, or be transferred to someone, as this will only ?log? your number as a working one and make it ripe for future calls and to be sold to other scam companies as well.
The best option is simply to hang up, keep your own list of calling numbers with dates and times and report them to the FCC below.  There is space on their complaint form to list several calling dates and times of a repeat caller.
The DO NOT CALL list is worthless, they do not act on anything, just build a database of numbers.
In order to do something to help stop these type calls, everyone - EVERYONE needs to file an online complaint directly with the FCC.  If they receive enough complaints about a particular number - they will act on it.  Do it today and pass along the info:

I received calls with this caller ID but they left a message that I should call so that i could "earn 3000-5000 dollars per week like I did".

The number they gave for me to call back on is 618-355-7574 so that is a real number.

Received call from this phone number 206-337-5202. SCAMMERS, nothing but scammers.  Blow a whistle in the phone at them. They are nothing but bottom feeders trying to swindle money $$$ from hard working people. They are the kind of people that cannot obtain a decent job, they have no personal skills or even any intelligent working skills. They think that by reading a card that says that you owe $$$ and you will be federally prosecuted that it will frighten you into sending them $$$. DO NOT LET THESE IGNORANT PEOPLE SCARE YOU!!!!!  Again, they are nothing but uneducated people who cannot fight their way out of a wet paper bag. SCAMMERS, SCAMMERS, SCAMMERS!!!!!  JUST HANG UP ON THEM! BLOCK THEIR NUMBER FROM EVER CALLING YOU AGAIN.

Another guru wanna-be just called me on this number today, May 01, 2014, saying I could earn $10,000 every 10-14 days; the sad thing is, I know this guy is an a** and is talking through his hat, but how many fall for this and lose their shirts while fools like this go on and cannot be stopped? Someone handles these numbers...therefore that someone should be stopped or put out of business for offering numbers that cannot be traced.

Had a call on 4/15/14 12:47 PM, 3 days ago. Since I had previously blocked the number, Google Voice treated it accordingly.
I only discovered the blocked call since I check my spam folder from time to time.

I got this number calling me and have nothing outstanding with them or whoever they represent!

It's a make money from home scam. Did not answer but there was a recorded voicemail telling me that I can make a fortune from home at to go to that same website atm678.com. Just blocked it with Mr. Number. Love that app.

A call just came in from "check out the site atm678.com" and make big buck each weak.  My husband is on a list because he has been caught in several scams.  I now have power of Att.   They love to go after people like my husband that are gullible and want to believe anyone that says "make money fast".

Me too-as listed below, they are located in the Seattle, Washington area...I didn't answer.

I don't know what is going on with these people but they started doing this the first week of JANUARY and it is now the 3rd week of March.   They have used so far 8 different numbers for some kind of obvious scam they are running....Today after weeks of this and 4 to 5 times a day I am fed up.  I called our Telephone provider and complained and they told me you can at least here get a service called a Call Screen which you can Put all of their numbers in and this basically answers it and tells them your not there to answer the phone and it hangs up....It doesn't ring into your house.  The next step is a Privacy Center where you report all of the numbers...the next step is that I am submitting them to the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police). People need to ban together to stop scams like this...it really is a form of terrorism that steals your
time and peace of mind.

Same as Ken, website given is www.atm789.com, looks like another cheap scam site, cookie cutter design, no pro touches on it... sign up, make a copy of the site, spam ppl to try to get them to sign up... ugh I hate this junk and I know you do to.  Report them to the FTC, do not call registry and to your local state do not call administrator.

Got a call from this number around 4:15 pm. Did not answer, of course, as I do not answer if I do not recognize the number. Caller did not identify himself, but said check out this website; (www.atm678.com).
Sure enough, an advertisement for marketing saying,you can make between $1000-$2000 or more a week. I did not go any further.

I received this call 2 times to day. Once in the morning and then in the evening.

This number called me cell. I didn't answer. I listened to my voicemail and it was an advertisment for some ridiculous get rich from home scheme and I was to visit www.atm678.com.  I called the number back but all I got was the same advertisment message. Of course I didn't waste my minutes listening. So I went to the website in attempt to send a nasty contact message about me being on the Do Not Call Registry but there is NO contact information, only a place where you can request information and sign up for email! What a scam! I'm going to find out how to report this number and do so! Does anyone know?

Received call today at 3:10. Did not recognize the number and did not answer. Glad I did not as the above post sound like this is another scam artist .

I received a call today stating that I had received a loan from an online company CashAdvanceUSA in December of 2011 for the amount of $300.00 which I never paid back (I never received this loan nor did I request it.)  The first man that I spoke with was (I assume) Indian and I couldn?t understand him, I got (what I think) his name was Alan Stewart. I was asking a lot of questions and it was loud in the background the man Alan got frustrated and handed the phone to another man. The man said he was Alan?s supervisor and I asked his name, he said David Zyaes.  He went on to tell me his company DSS which is not a recovery service is going to charge me with 3 federal check and fraud charges if I don't pay restitution in the amount of $525.00 for a loan of $300.00.  I told him that I did not received a loan from his company and that I needed to look at my bank account statements to see what he was talking about.  I went into my bank account and looked at all my bank statements dating back to November 2011 for a deposit and I did not EVER have anything deposited to my account.  The man said that I have a choice that I can pay him $525 in restitution and not be charged or I can go to court.  I said that I was not going to get charged with something that I didn?t do and that this is blackmail.  He said that he doesn?t like to use that word, its restitution.  I asked for his company information told him that I would pay the $525 and them sue his company for the money because I don?t owe them money. He yelled at me telling me that I am on a federally recorded line and if I am going to threaten to sue him he doesn?t want my money they will take me to court. I said when do I pay and he said I can pay on the 22nd of February in the amount of $157.50, again on 7th of March in the amount of $183.50, on the 7th of April in the amount of $183.50.  He said that he needed my debit card number.  I said no I?m not going to give you that and if he had my account number why didn?t he just debit it and he said no he needed my debit card number.  Again I said no, and he said that I could go to Walmart and get a prepaid card and go he will call me back and get the account number.  He also said that  I will need to get have a fax that I can fax information to and complete a global funds form.  I asked again for his company info that he wouldn?t provide me but he gave me a phone # number of 804-318-5473 X6363 case file number G250124929.  He told me that he was located in VA in the first part of the conversation but he later said West VA and then I asked again and he said VA and was clearly frustrated yelling ? I said VA? and quickly changed the subject. He said that he would call me on the 21st of February to remind me and the 22nd to get the prepaid card number.   When the call came into my phone it showed up as a 804 number but when I looked at my call log it said UNKNOWN.  We were disconnected 2 times during our conversation and David immediately called me back.  I later called the number he provided me and it was a voice mail to a random person not David and not his company.  I left a message for David to return my call.
In addition, to contacting the Special Actions Team,  followed up this attempt by going online to CashAdvanceUSA who had the following disclaimer on their site:
