Yeah i was selling a htc droid eris and i got an email from some person saying their name is jessica raymond and they were saying that they wanted to buy my phone for an extra additional 100 than what i was trying to sell it for. He said his wife was overseas andhe wanted to buy her a gift???? okay first of all it says his name was jessica??? Now all of a sudden he's a guy?? Anyways he wanted me to ship the phone overseas and all he needed was myemail address to pay for the phone through paypal. So i called paypal to see if this was true they said NO, I need his email address to get paid. Something wasn't sitting right so I looked up scams for craigslist online and notice everyone was getting the same email scams from this low life LOSER. Ugh, I wish there was a way I could reverse the scam on him!!!!

i was trying to sell a paintball gun and it sounds like this guy is trying to scam me. his email adress is Larrymichael@ymail.com. ive read teh above posts and it sounds like its the same guy with a slightly changed name. he says he has a shipping company and is willing to pay full price. he wants all my information like adress and phone number. i told him that i wanted to handle the money through Pay pal and that i would ship it to him. no response since. this dude is a scam freak and sadly its my only response to my paintball gun, and it turns out to be a scammer! how lame.

I told him I would rather he wire me the money via western union.

I PUT AN AD ON CRAIGS LIST TO SELL AN XBOX. THIS GUY MARKLARRY SENDS ME AN EMAIL.  WANTS TO GIVE ME $100.00 MORE THAN WHAT I'M ASKING. HE SAYS TO MAKE SURE NO ONE ELSE BUYS IT. ANYWAY HE WANTS TO SEND ME A CHECK FOR $2,050.00. ALL I HAVE TO DO IS SEND HIM MY NAME, ADDRESS, AND PHONE NUMBER SO HE CAN GET IT IN THE MAIL AND THEN AFTER I CASH THE CHECK TAKE OUT $350.00 AND SEND HIS SHIPPER THE REMAINING BALANCE.

Don't do it. My girlfriend almost lost her job.This guy sent her a walmart money order for 5 thousand dollars and since she works at walmart she tried to cash it there. Guess what? It had already been cashed. She almost got fired for being involved in fraud.

I put an ad on Craig's list to sell an ebox and this guy wants my address and stuff too. going by MarkLarry, but same phone # and he wants me to cash a check and send balance via western union to his shipper. Geeze what is this world coming to? You can't even sell anything these days and someone's trying to steal your life. Their Karma will get them some day.

This is a scam without a dought and everyone here needs to alert there web provider and the FBI on this. They want your address so they can steal your car and they even ask for a good time to contact you. There is an FBI web site that you can send the email info to and they can track them down. Most of the time it is oversees thieves. A buddy lost a 67 Shelby this way and customs found the car going over sees when they did inspections.

Be really careful about that guy! That is really a scammer, he changes names all the time.

Rec'd an e-mail from a person using the name Roy Will in the e-mail address and says his name is Nesta.  I am selling a truck.  Offered me more than what I'm asking and added $3,000.00 to give to his shipper.  Says he will send the certified cheque for the total amount.  Then use Western Union to deposit the 3000 in an account for shipper.  After further e-mails gave me this contact number and Seattle, WA 98188 address.
