Another unknown number

I would think that's this guy I know named Joshua Wallace because he's also into running scams on people, which I just found out about. Beware of him also especially the ladies because he tries to charm women out of all they own....... he can't spell though, but I'm sure he just spell checked it after he was done. I'm pretty sure it's him, and I can get his address and I have the cell number if anyone wants it. He's an evil little b*****d and he needs to be stopped. He lives in Auburn Hills with hi so-called "wife". He's all of twenty years old and she's 18 with a two year old baby  and they're over there trying to scam people because they have 2 toddlers they can't afford to take care of!! yep... two s****y ,crying toddlers.....   My email is libbymitchell2009@yahoo.com if anyone cares to leave your phone number, I will happily give u his phone number and send you a picture of Joshua. I don't want a thing in return, just please get the a***ole lokced up!!! He's a menace and he deserves to be behind bars!!

The house is 1200 square feet, and I will take care of the water and trash all you have to pay is the electric which runs around $80-$90 a month.I had a couple renters that could not pay and am very cautious about it this time around (Can't take any chances). If you are really interested in renting it out, I would prefer a credit check as a precautionary measure. After that it will redirect you to my rental application.

I am also looking for a house to rent, I found this on Craigslist and thought it sounded good. I called the Guy and let him know that my credit score would not be a problem since i work at a Credit Union. I left the message on Tuesday night and have not heard back from him and i was just talking to my co-worked and we decided to check out his phone number and see where it was listed to. Yeah what a SCAM. I thought it was a little fishy when he wanted me to fill out a credit check first.. I DONT THINK SO.. I also like how she says GOD BLESS.. NO GOD needs to send him to HELL....

Hey what happened after you responded to the email?  Did you fill out the credit report?  Have you seen any reprocutions from them getting your social #?  I'm sorry for all of the questions but I just responded to an email from the same person.

I just checked craigslist for a house/duplex today, March 24, in Boise, ID.  Here's the email I rec'd. The God Bless got to me.. thought he was a Christian..and so sent him a further email for details.. then decided to look his name up on Google and found this info.. WOW... I'm so glad people have shared this to help others out.. thankfully we didn't get into the credit part...!  BEWARE..!

he just started it out here on the outer banks of N.C. I X'd out of the page when it came to the Credit Card info I think that's what he, she, it wants. It's unbelievable in this economy and everyone is trying to find housing as cheap as possible. I hope he couldn't see the info until I submitted it. Has anyone had any fallout from this. I hope not. LUCKILY I googled the number. I flagged this ad on craigslist and its been removed. That is insane.

I got the same email. I thought 206 area code was odd, so I googled the number, and it lead me here. Luckily I did not click the link or send him info. It is sad that people would actually do this to other people.  Not only that, you never know who you are screwing over.  Law and Order just had an episode on this and the scammer was the victim in the end. (not saying I am going to do anything. other than ignore this guy)

I just got scammed from another person using the same free credit report site as this guy did. Her email is williamsannhazel@yahoo.com watch out for this one as well. I went through all the steps of calling my credit card companies and putting an alert on my credit reports also.
another thing you should do and if all of us keep doing it maybe they can be caught who knows! It's just so sad that they are out there, I have been desparately looking for a place for months and to run across this is sickning. forward phinisng emails to spam@uce.gov

He is still at it guys. I just knew that 2bd/2bth w 1400 sq ft for only 500.00 was too good to be true but i e-mailed em anyway. I didnt fill out any forms I immediately googled the number and "BAM"! it sent me straight here. I got the exact same generic message. Thanks guys for the warnings! I hope no one else falls for this

This person is STILL running this scam on Craigslist. If you run into it make sure you click the Scam button in the right hand corner. Thank goodness, I checked the number before sending any info. Be wary of craigslist. Got burned once before by a scammer. Luckily we have an id protection service but it could have been very bad for us.

I sent an email to this guy and he filled out the credit report but it didnt link me to the application for the apartment so I got suspicious then and looked up his name and number and came here to find out that it was a scam! I am soooo happy I didnt go any further with this mess.

I feel so stupid right now! I can't believe I fell for this.  I am working hard to put myself through school and someone would actually do something like this.  I wish I had seen this sooner!!! I did the credit report but I didn't give him any information.  I did leave a voicemail with my name and number but that's it.  I did report it and flag my credit report though.

Me too! I also emailed asking for the address and all I got was that generic response. Plus, the ad had a bunch of weird words at the end, which also made me suspicious. I flagged this as a spam--everyone should do the same!

Not only does this individual have this number, but he is still listed on Craigslist.  My young college daughter, luckily contacted me asking questions before she continued on with the application.  I stopped her, thank goodness.

I also received this same message this morning at 7:15 a.m.  I gave him all of my info as far as email address and phone numbers however I went to freecreditreport.com to get my credit scoring for the application.  After it was complete, I tried emailing him back and kept getting a non-deliverable message so then I called and left my name and number on that phone number listed on the ad.

I recieved the same email about rental property. This is horrible, especially since I am a hard working single mother that is in desperate need of a home right now. Is this person placing this add in every state or what?????????? Glad I didn't supmit my credit info. And everyone thinks I'm crazy for doing research on everyone I come across. I may not LOVE my job but it has taught me to be on the look out for SCAMS like these. Shame on him for using God Bless!!!!!!!

Thanks for all the info! I did a bit of checking like Michelle did and was really thrown off at how nothing adds up. After looking up the phone number, everyone here confirmed it. Craiglist can be good for a few things here and there, but it's sad that people take advantage of it as well as trusting people. Good luck everyone!

THANKS! I almost fell for it. But when I looked at the site he directs you to with the credit report link he left up a fake company name and phone number. Also the site is registered to some private home in KY. Which through up flags again, so I found ya'll here. THANKS!

I fell for it too and called my bank.  They told me to call a credit union to flag my identity as having possible identity theft.  Here are the numbers and call RIGHT AWAY:

Equifax 1-800-685-1111
TransUnion 1-800-916-8800
Experian 1-888-397-3742

If you flag one account it will forward the flag to the other three credit unions.  You may also do this online, however, I did it by phone to make sure it took action immediately.  I hope everything works out for you and I usually am so smart about this stuff .... I feel like a fool for falling for it.

I fell for it. I filled out the credit report and everything. However, it was from a reputable credit reporting site. Is he able to get any of the information from the credit reporting place?
