Still trying to scam people on Craig's list.  Latest alias is Lacerter Raymond.

Phone number connected to an apparent scam attempt on Craig's List correspondence.

So whats the purpose these scammers have on asking for addresses?  Are they going to knock on your door and kill you?  Find private information like SSN and credit card numbers using only your address?  Once you deposit the phony check into your bank, they'll somehow extract your private info?  I'm trying to understand how this is a scam other that it being a fake person posing to buy something off the seller on craigslist...

How do these people scam you ?

i needed to sell a car on c-list and got an email from this guy needing my adress and phone number ,which i emailed back not looking that it was going to drtobycooper1@googlemail.com THEN i googled that email and found all kinds of nasty stuff both of these emails are scammers!! i`m now worred.

I got a message from ensign.edwards@gmail on a nanny posting I made.  not sure if i should reply.

I've gotten e-mails from these different e-mail addresses. All the e-mails are very similar. Do these people really think we fall for this crap?

Got the same message on an item I have for sale in Craigslist.  The email address being used are ensign.edwards09@gmail.com and ensign.edwards@gmail.com....Scammers!!!!!!!

1-206-350-1507  "Wendy" was asking if we still had the item we listed on craigslist.  Then they responded wanting to send a certified check -- turn them in!

YOu got to love cut and paste.Because I got the exact message.This is really wrong. I really need money and I am tring to sell my central heat and air system and every time he first responds to my ad.He just asks if I is still avaliable and when I say it is then I get the whole sales pitch.How stupid does he think I am.Does anyone know how we can stop hi, who to report him to.He has used at least 3 different email address with me.

I just got the same email and after I had replied them I decided to do a search on the phone number and I found this. What a horrible thing to do!!

The same thing happened to me.  The first response seemed legit and then they responded again and said they wanted my item but are very busy and need to send me a certified check.

I didn't receive a call from this number but they did contact me via email regarding an item I had for sale on craig's list.  And wanted to send me a "certified bank check".  Email is wadetyler1tk@gmail.com
