Now he told me to remove posting on craigslist, cause this was his bike.  This was after I wrote and told him I wasn't going to finish paperwork for PayPal, that I preferred to do business the old-fashioned way:  in person.

I once bought bike from New York.  He was a dealer and I checked him out.  After he sent copy of the title, I sent a cashier's check.  After it cleared and he let me know, I arranged through a reputable company to have bike picked up.  I paid the shipping fees directly to them and the bike was delivered in perfect condition.  Don't understand this Western Union crap or his "agent" b***s***.  

Last email, told him to google himself, then buy a Bible and read it.  Damn, that phone of his sure has been down for a long time.  What happened to 'the good old days'?  Or will these be the good old days a few years from now?  Could not believe all the names on the scammer list, but isn't this sad?  Oh well, why make your own money when you can steal someone else's hard-earned bucks?  Maybe I'll just advertise in the Vegas paper.

Today is September 20, 2013.  Charles McEntire doesn't even change the misspelled words.  Oh, he's buying my motorcycle, for guess who?  His son, big surprise.  Unfortunately, did give him address, but he would be quite foolish to show up.  My Rottweiler LOVES ME, MY WIFE AND ANY AND ALL OUR POSSESIONS.  Luckily, PayPal has to verify my account, so he won't be getting any of that info.  DAMN, THOSE GUT FEELINGS YOU JUST SORTA IGNORE.  Going to email him back right now.

Suggestion folks:

Contact the email providers that these scammers are using and report the abuse/scam. They will need the email complete with headers (some ask for you send as attachment) !  Generally most providers will shut that email down on them!

Received the very same e:mail

Guess he is still at it.... .."out at sea or offshore on a drill rig or an engineer ....buying it for his dad or his son......been texting me all year with variations of the same story. Last it was a serviceman on the sea on a Freedom mission, couldn't call on the phone because he was on a "mission" and wasn't allowed to call out...( guess it was ok to text, right . What happened to to SECURITY on a military mission, yeh right ! Then he wanted to get his Captain to text me and let me know that every thing was ok....oh really...his Captain. Then he said when I asked for cash, he mentioned about the , opening a Paypal account, and that his God trusted him , so I should trust him....he was truthful and very trustworthy and honest.....yes....I made him suffer thinking he was going to get the best of me....but when he got it through his thick skull, that I was only going to do cash in person.. He changed real quick.. Called ME a scammer, along with a few other choice names and stopped texting.....must have been after, in between the texts, I found his number at the time, was on th coast in FLORIDA....I didn't hear from him again....I GUESS HIS SHIP SANK...ha. Ha.   In case you ever have any doubt about the the kind of people that you are dealing with....learn to get a throwaway phone and number for your adds....do your advertising, until the scammers finally overrun your phone, keep your home phone clear of any public adds, includes having a separate account for purchases online.etc. separate from you account for your checks where you work and pay your bills.....HOPE SOMETHING HERE HELPS SOMEONE...Sincerely..."Red Bird".   Jim. I just received a text from this numbers, and I just realized that this is the same scammer that I've reasonly encounter in the past. I only text him  back by saying yes. But now I realized that it's the same person. Someone should catch this scammer before he rip some off from money or vital info.

Just because he works on an oil rig shouldnt deter you right away. I actually work on an oil rig also, and i buy and sell a lot of motorcycles. I work on an on land one, not an at sea one, but when i contact someone about one, i usually tell them i work on a rig, and that i will be in town in X amount of days, but if they dont want to wait, i will have my roommate (who handles stuff for me when im gone) come check it out and bring cash. I will never ever ever ever ever ever ask to use paypal, because that always means scam, and i NEVER ask to ship, the second one.  But just because he works on a rig, doesnt mean he isnt a serious buyer. I work about 3 weeks on and then 2 weeks off.  Plenty of time to enjoy my toys! :)

He is still at it!  I received an inquiry about a Motorcycle I have on craigslist.  I noticed something odd about the email address.   It came in as threadz.creations@gmail.com |charles| but when I responded, it went out as charles.mcentire1950@gmail.com.  I googled charles mcentire and found this site.  Thank you so much everyone for posting about him!

Just got a similar email form Wayne Harris regarding my Harley that I am selling on Craig's List.  Who do you report these guys to?  They have not commited a crime until the actual transaction takes place - then it's too late.
