I got one today

this is the second call today with no message. I am really getting tired of this.

I called BofA to verify the caller from number 206-357-7860 and they said that is DEFINITELY NOT one of their numbers and to not call that number back. The representative from the Bof A 1-800 customer call line recommended that I report the number as a scammer to my phone company and have it blocked.

FYI: The first call from this SCAMMER today did leave a recorded message for me to call back with a special code that they provided in the recording. However, they did not leave a message in second call from them today.

This number is a survey line conducted by a 3rd party. You do not have to have an account with them to get a call. The trigger is usually some type of inquirers made to BA for any reason.

Got a call from this number today, and they actually left a message. Apparantly it's Bank of America wanting me to fill out a survey.

I've had calls from this and other phone numbers multiple times a day for the past few days. Every time I look them up, everyone seems to think it's Bank of America. I've never had an account with them. Seems like the general consensus is that BofA does not own this number or any of the others calling me. Something fishy is going on, so I will continue not answering and hopefully they'll eventually stop.

I've gotten 2 calls. I answered the second and it claimed to be from BofA. After I pressed 1 for english, the call cut off. very strange.

I've recieved two calls today from this number on my cell phone.  Nobody is on the other line.  It's annoying and it's also a waste of my time and minutes!!!

I keep getting phone calls from this number and when I answer there is nobody on the line.  Quite annoying!

Turns out it was an automated customer survey from my credit card company

I received a call from this number that claimed to be calling on behalf of Bank of America, and left a number (866-459-9174) to call back to receive a personal message. Since I have an account w/BOA, I called them to confirm that this WAS NOT a call from them or on their behalf. All calls from BOA clearly state BANK OF AMERICA in the CID field.

I just got a call from this number today. I believe it's a scam.

Received a call from this number today.  A recording stated the call was from Bank of America about my recent experience with Bank of America.  I haven't had a recent experience with Bank of America and any time I have gotten a call from Bank of America the name "Bank of America" has shown up on my caller ID.  So even if this is a legitimate call, if it is a recording and I don't like recorded calls or surveys.  So I hang up on them.  I only talk to real people.

Been receiving repeated calls from this number identified as "Seattle Wa" without anybody calling ever having the gonads, much less common decency, to leave a message.  I don't have any connection to Bank of America, never did, and certainly never will!  If this is a request for a customer service survey (which I doubt) why don't these a***oles at Bank of America grow a brain after a pattern of their calls not being answered and simply send their request thru the mail?  DUH, PROBABLY BECAUSE THIS IS A SCAM, ya think?  Don't answer this number which would only confirm thy reached a good number & what time they can get their call answered; 2 bits of information they are bound to share with others...

I have been receiving calls from this number several times a day!  Thing is, I do not have an account with Bank of America!  Nothing, nada, zero.

I received a call from this number this morning and my caller ID showed Seattle Wa don't know anybody there so I didn't answer it. However, if as mentioned on here it is B of A I have never called them regarding any FRAUDULANT activity on my account and have they never called me regarding any such problem nor should they as my account is closed down due to my being out of work and unable to pay anymore. I sent them a Do Not Call Letter which they ignored and called me relentlessly from 4 or 5 different numbers until my mom accidently pick up a call from one of these numbers and I told them I sent you a  Do Not Call Letter, I assume you people can READ ENGLISH?? I haven't received any calls in several days from those numbers and now I receive a call from this number which may be for a survey???  Very strange, I don't think any company would be DUMB enough to ask someone to fill out a survey on there collections behavior!  I'd avoid answering this number when it shows on your caller ID.

This is Bank of America calling back regarding a claim you have made one fraudulent activity or any other issues, so you should listen to the message they have for you.
This is such a good thing they follow up on the case.

I received a call 3 times on my cell phone yesterday.  I am a very cautious person, but I believe this was Bank of America, or probably more likely a survey company hired by Bank of America as I don't get calls on my cell besides Bank of America, and the recording stated my name, and I had just dealt with Bank of America the week before (but didn't have any fraud issues with my account).  Didn't bother calling back though, as I don't like doing surveys anymore.  Just too much.

I am not a BoA customer.  The only experience I have had with them was when BoA called me accidentally for a fraud call a year or so back (an actual legit call).  I told them they had the wrong number for the person they were trying to reach, and should remove my number, and haven't heard from them since.

It would make sense that this number might be related to BoA but not taking the chance, which I encourage everyone else to do the same.  Don't take the chance, don't give out ANY personal information, and if you have any questions, talk to a local BoA authority in person.

Got a call from 206-357-7860 but didn't answer it. I don't take unwanted or unsolicited phone calls. I'm on a do-not-call list and have an unlisted number - still get these unwelcome calls.

This is legitimate.  My husbands card was flagged as suspicious activity and a hold put on it.  He spoke with them over the weekend and verfified some transactions and his card was released.  This is a survey as to how they handled the call.  No scamming with this one.  We have had our cards jeopardized at another bank so it is nice they really are looking out for you.

Credit card fraud group at Bank of America.  Calling to verify irregular credit card transaction.  Thanked them for the viligence.
