(206) 384-3015 Received a call from this number.  It was a Derek Gainer saying that he wanted me to pay for some service I never ordered.  I think it is another scam.

I received this call yesterday (10/3/13) voice recording started speaking to me in Spanish and I hung up. Called my cell phone. Don't know what business they were cause I did hang up but this phone number definitely originates from some where in the Seattle metro area.

My friend was contacted by this company and the word "shady" came to mind right away.  First off, if you commit "FRAUD" and break the law, I can't call you and say if you pay this you won't go to jail . . . that's called extortion and is against the law.  If you break the law you ARE going to jail.  Only a judge can give you a fine and community service.

Also, when you ask them for a proof of debt they tell you "at this point you don't get that."  ANOTHER LIE . . . you have a right to proof of the original debt.  NEVER pay anyone over the phone if you can't make sure they are legitimate.  Report this company to the FBI  www.IC3.gov  They have scared the sick and elderly as well.  THEY ARE SLIME BAGS!  They truly make me sick to my stomach.  People pay them and the "real" debt doesn't even go away . . . just your money!

I had a call at my work who said they were going to take my license away too but the female person was very pleasant. I am not giving them jack squat I asked her what was my balance and she couldn't confirm it she just said it's a great settlement. It did scare me but I had to be calm considering I was at work. Just thought thought of loosing my legal ability to drive would be such a hardship for my family. My kids in to school and my husband can't drive due to issues so they all depend on me. But as I talked to several people and found you guys have felt so much better. I came to a conclusion that if every debt collector tried to take someone's license away the roads would be quiet and a
Businesses would be closed. I believe that everyone  in some point in their lives had owed money to a debtor. I am reporting them to the proper agencies in hopes we can stop them.

I recieved a call a little while ago from these bozos claiming that there was
an arrest warrant out for my husband and that unless I called by 4pm
today he will bw arrested.

Got a call from this number but i missed it because i was at work so some lady left.a voivemail saying that she was calling and she said some case number that didnt sound real then she said i had to give them a call because of a loan i got from ace for 350.00 which now im going to be charged with check fraud and my license was going to be suspended so i called the number back and she transferred me to someone else who then advised me that i now oh 1200.00 because of interest then he asked me for a down payment of 333.79 and a card number to put on file in which i didnt give him, so i decided to look them up and this is what i found i will not be giving them a dime

I rec'd a call from this same number this morning... at SEVEN AM!!  (NEVER KNOWN A GOV'T AGENCY TO START MAKING CALLS/WORKING BEFORE 8:30A... THAT WAS THE FIRST SIGN OF SHADINESS) ...and the gal that left the message sounded like she just rolled out of the gutter... yet said she was representing the prosecutors office... well, I have a lot of friends in the pros office through work and acquaintances... and they NEVER call collecting debts... so, I just hope people don't fall for this... I called back and told these disgusting people the police were on their way and they had 'better close up shop!'  ... the more people that call the authorities AND the news media  (I've heard KIRO radio and KING TV do stories on similar things... )  the more people that call ... the more likely more pressure will be put on these terrible people to stop... UNfortunately, the most-'needy' people are the ones who usually fall for it...

I just to got a call from this number. from cheif carter she told me that they were going to arrest me if i didnt pay 3600 in four hours. she also said that my licsense would would be revoked forever and I couldnt get it back. I called the Mesa PD and they have nothing on me. I also called FBI and they too have no warrents on my arrest. I was very worried but now I see this is a scame.

I just received a similar phone call. I have no idea what loan he is even talking about. I quickly contacted my attorney's office and I also gave the gentleman that called my attorney's name and phone number. Let's see what happens.

My daughter received a call from 2033844524, Williams Scott Attorney at Law stating that another daughter of mine was going to be charged with fraud and that she was going to be supeonaed as a witness since she was a reference.  Sounded fake to me.  I called the woman back and she said she was with the Dept of Justice and that my daughter was going to jail unless I could come up with $1400 today.  I told her I did not but could make a payment arrangement- she said to hold while she contacted the "attorney".  She got back on the phone and stated that I had till 6 PM to provide them with $600 to stop the warrant and my daughter's license suspension.  I told her I would have to look into getting the $$ and she gave me an hour call her back.  After reading everything   on the internet about this supposed Law Firm I am glad I did not fork over any $$.  What a fake!

I recieved a call today stating im goin to jail was suppose to be in court today for a bad check written in 2008 lol and i have an outsyanding warrant for my arrest the caller became completely irrational so i hung up. These people are frauds!

As my son and I were travelling today, my son received a call on my cell phone. I atttempted to get information from the caller since the call was on my phone. I don't recall the name he gave, but he proceeded to tell me that he represented William Scott and Associates and they were looking for my son because they were conducting a fraud investigation regarding a pay day loan that he had made to Cash @ Go (a company that is now out of business in VA). When I started to press for more information, he threatened that they had a warrant for his arrest if he did not pay $1300 today.  When my son took the telephone and disputed owing the money (that his loan was lower and had been paid), the  caller handed the call over to another male; who proceeded to inquire about him remembering the debt and had him to verify the numbers he read as my son's ss#.  This made the call sound somewhat official; but still not quite so. At my requesst and out of frustration, my son handed the call back to me. When I insisted that they send something in writing, the caller stated that they did not operate that way and if he owed the money he would have  to pay it today.  I said, you should know whether it's owed and contact him in writing.  With this he became even more aggressive with his threats and insisted that it was clear he had no intentions of paying the debt; so, he would take the next step... and he'd see what would happen when he ended up in handcuffs. They were going to issue the warrant and have him arrested within the hour and hung up.  Our entire day was ruined, but I called the number to get some clarification about the legitimacy of the law firm and got the recording for William Scott and Associates.  We went to the old location of the pay day loan company; and ironically, the person working in the current location for a different company had been the manager of the other company for 7 years.  She immediately recognized the scam and warned us about the group.  I then looked info up here and got the verification that we needed to feel somewhat secure.  Now, we have to order my son's 3 credit reports to see what activity has occurred on them, since they have his personal information!!!  THESE FOLK NEED TO BE STOPPED!!

This number 206 384 4524 had called my home and told me that my husband had a out standing balance of over 5,000 dollers to wells Fargo bank and if he didn't pay by 12 noon today that he would have a warrant out for his arrest and my husband never used  wells Fargo bank ever

I just  found out i received one of these calls on Feb. 27 also. they called from 206-384-4524 saying she was Alison carter and was a federal agent badge #10000649 and that  she was Investigation a government fraud case against me and if i did not call back by Feb 28th that she would have an arrest warrant and my drivers license revoked as of these dates. (the funny thing is i was involved in a car accident sat march 2 and the officer  ran my license and everything was ok, no warrant and my license has not been revoked). I called back as soon as i heard this today but got the recorded message from William Scott & Associates and left a message. have not talked to them yet. i plan on asking  them for their information as their federal business ID number and  documents they have on my case to give to my attorney and the Texas state attorney generals office. thanks for all your information.

this afternoon I recieved a call from the so call "Federal Justice dept." with this number,the dude claims to be the chief investigator from the federal justice dept.
claims I took out a payday loan in 07' for 700 now I have to pay 0ver 2000 with compounded interested,I told him Im willing to pay the original 700 but he said no I need to pay the whole amount or he will call the freeway office to have me detained today so I humbly told him to "hurry and call Im waiting" I knew it was a collection agency when he said he was what he claimed to be. for one the federal gov. is not a collection agence for any privately owned biz. They only have one that I know of and thats the....everybody now..I.R.S   lol

I just received a phone call from this number staying that they were with Williams and Associates. Jeffery Williams stated that I owed over $1800 and would be sent to jail if I did not pay right now. I asked to verify the information and they stated that they had a contract with the U.S. Department of Justice and that I could call them and verify the information. I called the Department of Justice and they said that they do not operate that way. I stated that fact to Mr. Williams and he promptly hung up. This is a scam!!

Update guys, I received one of these calls as well and I called and left a message for "Allison Carter" as instructed in my voicemail I received. She didn't answer and no call back yet but either way, I know I've never committed fraud in my life and so, my next thought was obviously to turn to Google and low and behold, I found you guys so thanks for the help in identifying this as fraud itself and just so you know, another number they are using that I was given to call was (786) 319-4349 ext. 131. I was called from the same number you guys were but told told to call this number and speak with Allison! One of the "red flags" for me was that all messages when I received a call and called their office were a cheesy, low budget automated voice. No "federal collection lawyer" would use something that unprofessional. I wish you all luck, I'm just going to ignore their calls or tell them off when they call again and I'm sure the calls will cease after I explain that my brother is an FBI Director and will be very interested in this information. If they can be found, he can get that done!!!

I got a phone call yesterday saying they where doing an investigation on me in my county and that they where going to issue a warrant and suspend my drivers license if I did not call them back. Received phone calls from this "company."  It has all the ear marks of a fraud!!!

I recieved a call around 11:30 am, and the message stated there was a felony fraud charge against my social security number and that I had a case number to give them. I called back immediately thinking someone was using my SSN in fraud, I then began speaking to a very aggressive man that proceeded to tell me that I would have a warrant for my arrest for a check loan in 2008. Now I was 18 working as a waitress they only allowed me to get max $175 dollars out. Now he's asking that I pay 1,400 or my license will be suspended, and I will have a warrant for my arrest. Told me I was a flight risk, and to schedule a time where the local authorities could obtain me. I got nervous I've never had any criminal issues my whole life and here this man is threatening me 6 months in jail. He also told me there was video evidence and i didnt deny me going to the loan places. Now i see all the responses, still they have no means behind their threats?
