They claim they are associated with Microsoft but they are lying. I spoke with Microsoft they stated they do not randomly call customers and sell software unnecessarily. They are a scam company that are harassing me and my family with vulgar comments once I informed them of there fraudulent activity. I will be in touch with the police to file a complaint as well. "Christian", "Rob Moulder" (supposed supervisor), and Alan called my home continuously for 4 hours.  Then Christian continued calling relentlessly to call me a sexy bi*** over and over until I told him I would have the police answer the phone the next time they called, he stopped calling immediately!

These scammers called us about tech support and wanted my wife to open our system files and read them info. They gave her the same number to call back and when a different guy answered he just said Hello and then caught himself and said it was tech support. My wife opened up Viper when the first guy was on the phone and it started listing Trojan horses. Look out for these guys

Received exact same call from a person with heavy Indian accent allegedly named Nick. So irritating.  Would not let me speak to his supervisor.  He hung up when I said I was calling the attorney general.  Hoping nobody falls for his scam.

A friend of mine was having repeated system crashes with the screen going black.  He also received a call from a person with a heavy Indian accent stating the same thing - that they were calling from MS technical support and had received error reports from his computer.  They then told him that his free 1 year Windows security had expired but that if he renewed it they could clean the system.  They gave him this phone number 206-395-3053, which is a Seattle exchange, to call back with credit card information.  They then sold him a 2 yr "Windows protection package" for $199.  Prior to walking him through the "repair" they had him download AMMYY which is a third party remote access program and proceeded to show him all the corrupted files.  I told him to call MS who told him that they do not proactively contact customers who are sending error messages, and that if they remotely access a computer it is only through a secure MS site.  Obviously the scammer planted a virus that caused the crashes. The fact that the phone number was in the MS area code, coupled with them telling my friend exactly what kind of problems he was having, made them seem legit.  The bottom line is that he had to pay MS $99 to remotely access and clean his computer.  So, as the original poster said...BS RUN AWAY!!!

I was immediately suspicious then asked him what to do. he walked me through Windows + "r" key to open a run dialog box and befoer i took another step, I said I'd checj MS site first then call him back at the number he gave me.
