They keep calling and hanging up.  Its annoying

The only name listed on my caller ID is "customer dept.". I found out the number originated in
Seattle, but that was as far as I could find out. It's a cell phone, but that's all.This yo-yo keeps calling and calling and I'M SICK OF IT!!!!!!!! So I can't list a caller company.

It a scam!!!! Maxim magazines will bleed you dry!! They say they will send one magazine, or,
usually, several magazines, and they don't send the correct ones!! You end up with all this
magazine trash you don't want, of course they can't correct it, and naturally you can't cancel,
because the cancellation date expires BEFORE the first magazine is sent out! However, there
is another alternative. You can cancel your credit card, and they don't get your money. They will
threaten you with their affecting your credit score, but it won't affect your score one iota, because
a $3.99 per month bill simply isn't enough money to matter, even it it goes up and up, because
magazine sales will NEVER affect a person't credit score. They are right up there with hospital
bills. No matter how high they go unpaid, your credit score isn't affected. Plus, let's just say you
go 7 years, and they don't get paid. Well, there is a STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS after 7 years,
so the bill can only go so high, and it STILL won't affect your credit score. How do I know? Because
I've gone through all this before.

I talked to a woman who said she wanted to verify my account information for my magazine subscriptions. She mention Maxim magazine, but couldnt tell me the other magaizens that I get. (I cashed in sky miles from Delta to get magazines) She wanted to tell me that there are other companies that may contact me to to sell me more magazines and not to buy them beacuse the 3.99 a week will cover me for a very long time.  Odd beacuse I dont think I signed up fopr anything that would cost me $3.99 a week.  She then asked me what my age was. ( told her the wrong age) She then asked when I shop at the grocery store what card do perfer to use. Master Card, Visa or Discover.
(I told her the oppisite of what I actulay use) She then asked if I was married or single. Then she told me that it was her first day on the jopb and that she would need to transfer me over to her supervisor to verify that she had done a good job and exspaling to me that I shouldnt buy magazines form another company.  I did'nt wait to talk to the supervisor, I hung up....  My personal opinion is that this company is phishing for information through a serise of random questions that they can compile later to use in idenity theft.  I bet the $3.99 a week was an atempt for me to say, I didnt sign up for anything. Then they would probably come back with, give me your credit card number and we will issue a credit to your account.
The next time they call, I will either play along further to gain more insight or I will air horn the phone so they get the message.  If sounds fishy it probably is....<<<SCAM>>>

This number has called 3 times. They say I have signed up for an $1100 Maxim magazine subscription and need more info. They are full of crap. Trying to get you to give them your birthdate and other vital information.

They called and asked if I had been receiving my Cruise Travel magazine subscription. I said, uh no... and they hung up on me. Web searches lead the number to Seattle. I reported it to the Do Not Call Registry.

The caller ID says I N C 206397 1012
When I answer, it is silent, then they hang up. 2 days in a row.

These people are annoying. They called me 5 times on 6/10, left no messages. I've reported this number to the National Do Not Call list as a complaint.

They've called me six times today and have not left one voicemail . . . .

I doubt this is a legitimate soliciter.   His behavior is not normal.

Pestering phone calls!

Andrew at this  number has been calling along with 800-611-0758 all month.   He is harassing and creepy about a magazine subscription.  American Media does not make outbound calls, so this person does not work for the magazine company.  When calling this number at 5:45 this evening, Carlos answered and said he was at a University and calls were being forwarded to him.  He said that he heard of other people compaining about calls. He saidcalls were being forwarded to him, but 206-397-1012 indeed belonged to a particular University.  So, I called that University and learned this was a lie.  206-397-1012 does not belong to a university.    The person who answered was probably the harassing solicitor.  I thought I'd share with 'Carlos' that an 'Andrew' as making creepy phone calls and I was having the police investigate the matter.  He said "Creepy?"  I said yes, very creepy.

This is "Magazine Services" they renew your current magazines that you have.

Average 5 calls a day have answered 4 times with in 2 weeks and they ask for Steve (wrong number). When I don't answer it leaves a 'disconnect message' so my messages stack up. When I call back it says press 1 if you are not interested in these promotions. What promotions? Tried all ways I know to talk to a real person to no avail. When answer Im not Steve they hang up. I think next time Ill ask hold on who's calling please.

Receive calls daily.  When I answer not one is there.  I have pressed 1 to be put on the "do not call list" and still receive calls.

No body responds when we pick up the phone and say hello.

they said they were a  magazine subscription and gave me my name and address, when I told them that I did not live at that address they hung up.  I am concerned it is a scam

We are receiving as many as 6 calls a day and no one is there.  We also have called them back, pressed 1 to be taken off their list and still we receive calls.  What can we do?  They are calling early before we are even awake and it has been going on for a few weeks now.

Grovely voiced man wanted me to subscribe to porno magazines. I slammed down the phone.

called twice in one day, no one there when we picked up-- when we *69ed the no. got 206 397 1012, I called and an automated system said "thank you for returning our call--if you want to opt out of our service offer, please press 1 now".  I responded with 1, and they called us again about an hour later

206-397-1012 and 402-982-0463 both caller ID's says "INC"
This company will not stop calling at the same time everyday

This come through at least twice a day, it never lets the machine pick it up.
