Why does this number keep caLLing me and how did they get my number?

I had a feeLing that it was ALiens (or humans assisting ALIENS) doing a research.

I called the following number 866 225 1956 and was told they leased several numbers out to various companies. I informed them that is illegal to make telemarkiting calls to cell phones period. ftc.gov  states that.
They are looking into it. I will make a complaint with the feds about this.

Bob Robinson showed up on the caller ID.  It was an offer to lower the interest rate on my card.  This is a business without credit cards.  Obviously a scam.

I received a call from the same good ole Bob Robinson this morning.  I didn't answer the first time.  However, a few hours later it rang again under that name.  Figuring with a real name and calling again I may do well just to answer the call.  I was bombarded with questions about my mortgage on a house that I haven't owned in 3 years.  When I asked about Citi Financial (the institution my former, and new house, are and were financed through) the woman hung up.  If they call again I will try to get some info to report them.

Hey everybody happy Thankagiving! and yesterday November 25 i recived a call from the same number again, when i piced up they aasked me for my ssn and they said we need to verefy your information. So i said if you have all that info why are you asking again. They hanged up right away.

Just got a call from this #. Did not answer but after reading all your messages, I so want to call back and mess with them but I'm not that savvy.

Got a call on unlisted cell.  Did not answer.  Message on call back saying if you wish to be removed...  Ya right

Hey there i also got a call today and when i answered, my phone they asked for me and i said speaking they hang up right away. It is scam so becareful everybody.

Call from "Scott from account services" regarding my credit card. Scam call I've received many times from different numbers and persons. Took down the information this time to report it.

Just got a call from 206-397-1030; caller ID shows up as Bob Robinson. Automated sounding voice left voicemail saying I'd filled out an online form and won a GE Security wireless system and to press 1 to be connected with someone to collect my prize or 2 to be removed from the list. No company name mentioned. I guess they are using a name in the caller ID instead of "unavailable" as a ruse as if it is from a real person.

Upon further net searching I found that the number is used through the following company and is registered to the below email and phone:

I just got a call from 206.397.1030 it shows up on the caller ID as Bob Robinson. I believe it's a scam trying to get your credit card information. They say you qualify for a deduction to a 6.99% interest rate. They never give the company name and when I asked what card it was in reference to they just say "Your current visa or mastercard". If I truly had an account with them then they would know what card it was. When I tried to confirm the company and get a call back number the woman hung up. Obviously a scam/fraud- Beware!

Report all fraud and scams to your state attorney general/ FTC. As much information as possible helps them to track these people down.

Called. Didn't pick up. No message. Called back on blocked line. They did not pick up and did not go to voicemail.

I also had the name Bob Robinson on my caller ID, along with the number.  Pre-recorded message.....same one I always get.....I just hung up.

Called twice within an hour. Message left on voice mail.

I just got one too, I have lost count of how many times they've called. I got a rep on the phone who said because I always pay my MC on time she had an offer, when i asked which MC she hung up. When you call the # back you only have the option to have your # removed. Good luck, I think when you ask to be removed your number is really added to more lists.

I answered with "hello" and heard an awful buzzing or humming that actually made me feel dizzy, so I hung up right away.
Still feel scared.
