This phone number belongs to a public utility named CallerID4U, Inc., which is run by Paul Maduno and Luis Martinez.  They have entered into revenue sharing agreements with telemarketers who make illegal unsolicited telephone calls.  They profit directly from these outbound unsolicited telephone calls.

This appears to be a clear violation of a number of laws, including 16 C.F.R. §310.3(b) of the Federal Telemarketing Sales Rule.

My messages goes to my email box if I don't answer, this is what was left my this number as transcribe by my voicemail:   "Hundred dollars and just for listening agent nation will be needing your name to help save past and present so see the animals. Hello Amy calling you from my heart.org, the charity that helps they had, you have elected to receive a brand-new wireless and emergency system worth over $1200 and just listening agent nation will be needing your name to help save past and present for pizza animals. What a waste of a taped call. Hard to hear it and claimed it was a charity and that I chose a prize. I have no idea how that would happen!!!

Clark Howard said that some of these robo calls override the do not call list and you have to block it yourself if you can!

Just rec'd call they left a message about just for listing to the call a donation will be made to save a pet, I did not answer so how is a donation going to be made.  I think it is a scam of some sort or someone trying to get you to answer an otherwise unanswered call b/c you don't know the number or it is coming up on caller ID as unknown name.  SMDH  I don't answer my phone for numbers I don't know or does not Identify on caller ID.

Got a voicemail from 971 373-2961 claiming to make a donation to an animal charity and lower my utility bill by 20%.  I, too, am on the donotcall list but they call anyway.  How can they be stopped?   I opt out and still get calls.  Technology must be able to do something.

I got a call from these folks on the 5th, my Caller I.D. said "Pet Charity"  but it is not a pet charity at all. Just another credit card scammer. I was in the bathroom when the call came in, my son looked at the tv. where the caller id. was and he told me it said "Pet Charity" - I said what could that be? I told him not to pick it up, if it was a real charity it would say the name of the charity and they would leave a message on the voicemail. There was no message on the voicemail.

I have complained to the DNC. Hope it helps.

received call  at 12:36 pm.  No message.  Have received numerous messages from this and other unknown numbers.  Will reporting them to the do not call list actually help?

got a call from this number a few minutes ago, supposedly offering alternative electric suppliers here in Illinois.  In return they will make a donation to loveourpets.org, which although supposedly registered with the IRS as a 501 (c) organization.  I can't find them on Charity Navigator, but the website looks suspicious.  I'm going to file a complaint with donotcall.gov and hope they get so many complaints that they take these folks down.  I'm also sending a note to my Congresswoman, these robocalls are out of control.

Called landline phone. I didn't answer, I just hung upon them. These calls come in all the time and I don't know too many people outside the state so I can usually tell by looking at caller id. Not worth my time to answer the calls.

I don't appreciate calls to my cell phone from numbers I do not know.    This one is not to show up again.   What happened to the No Call list we are supposed to be on.

I'm in Illinois my husband and I are both receiving these calls on our cells.  Very frustrating to say the least.  I did not answer, and I have seen this number calling multiple times.  I do not ever answer unless I know the caller since they are not worth my minutes.

So sick of crap calls on my cell, which is on Donotcall. These buzzards called me today. Luckily, my phone was off at the time.

I kept getting these weird calls from numbers i never seen before..is there anyway we can fight against these people doing this. There has got to be away to trace these calls and get them in jail or something..

same as others.  robocall.  Have had 8 calls in two days.  Donotcall.gov is really of no use is it?  These telemarketers call at will, no action is ever taken against them.  I report every one and have for years.  Still, they persist and I think are on the increase.  I agree with Fed Up, above, that the deregulation of utilities in Illinois has spawned a lot of this third party scamming.

Robocall.  Unfortunately, I couldn't catch the supposed company name, but it was about ways to save me money on my electric bill followed by "this is not a sales call."  That's when I hung up.  That's a lot of baloney that it's not a sales call!!!

I'm in Illinois and have been receiving a lot of robocalls about lowering my credit card interest rates and about electric rate savings due to deregulation.  The credit card thing is a big scam and I think this electric savings is a big scam too.
