Although you are in Sweden and the US country code isn't coming through, another report site has information about who actually owns the number and further details, you can check it out here:  http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-206-397-1154

I was dumb enough to do it but my computer lady said she kneww of them and they basically want the credit card payment.  I answered as my children live in Seattle which is 206.    I know noticed they stole my file of family photos . I feel sick about it and feel I need to buy a new computer.  When I tols my credit card people not to pay, as I was canceling card, she said they do nothing until you get a bill and contest the charge but it seems too late to stop them from getting paid.

Yeah, Indian accent. Phone number is repeated in the ID.
It's too bad the Government thinks it's okay to trample one Constitutional right for the sake of another.
Your speech shouldn't override my privacy. (And I pay the bill too.)

Although, I know this call can't really be controlled by the Feds since it is coming from India.

I received a call tonight from this number.  He (Foreign India man) knew my last name.. Said he was from Windows maintenance, my computer has some viruses and he needed to clean them up.  Asked me if my computer was on, I said yes.  Then he asked me if I was the owner of the computer, I told him No, just to see what kinda crap he was selling, he hung up on me.
Sounded way too fishy.  Stupid people, if they would use all the efforts they put into thinking about ways to scam people into something good instead, the world would be a much better place :)

This was my first call today from these people.  My caller ID just lists the phone number.  The second call came in just seconds after I hung up on this first call and the second number was listed as 971-217-9518, Beaverton, OR.  Sounded like the same guy both times.  Both times they claimed to be from "Microsoft", but have *heavy* accents (Indian).

They don't know anything about your computer, but they do want you to give them access so they can install malware!  Do not be concerned (that they know about something wrong with your computer), but do hang up on them.

It's all a scam.  Warn friends who aren't computer savvy enough to laugh and hang up on these predators.

I just got a call from this number.  Background noise sounds like a call centre, but with a lot of extra noise in the background.  The guy had a thick Indian accent, insisted his name was Martin, said that he was from Microsoft and wanted to talk to me about my computer.  That is when I hung up.  I have done enough tech support to know that Microsoft does not call you, you have to call them.

I did a google search and found this site.  A reverse number search says it is from Seattle, Washington.  I think not.

Same number: 206-397-1127; young man with an Indian accent. Stated he was from a major corporation in New Jersey and wanted to fix my computer. Called me by name and told me I could call back the number to verify the information. Instructed me to go to Computer > Manage > and type in www.micro.... When I refused, stating I was not very good with my computer and wanted to call a friend to check him out,; told him he could call me back tomorrow and he yelled at me and told me "I was wasting his time" and he would not call me back. Luckily I did not click on the website. Looked up these posts on Google after I hung up.

You'll need to take your computer to a reputable repair shop to have them clean it. If you can not afford to do that, the following programs will be of use to you:

MalWare  Bytes - http://www.malwarebytes.org

Also, you'll want to run an online virus scanner, as they may have disabled your computer's antivirus or may have put in something that is designed to get past yours.TrendMicro is good for this.

I just got a call from these guys and do not, I repeat do not give out your email address and any personal  information.  They have called me before and they do not give you a chance to speak and they keep interrupting you .  It is a SCAM, pure and simple.  So be careful and do not give these people any information whatsoever.  I have called my internet provider on a previous occasion and was told to hang up immediately and also these scammers will try to send you an e-mail pretending to be your internet provided so before you do anything, call your internet provider FIRST!

11 September 2013
T-Mobile Customer Relations
P.O. Box 37380
Albuquerque, NM 87176-7380

To T Mobile:
On 10 September 2013 from 18:02 until 19:18 I received at least 24 criminal, unwanted, threatening, and harassing telephone calls on my T Mobile phone +++++++++ Over the past 6 months I have received roughly 50 similar calls, but never 24 of them in 80 minutes. The other 50 calls have come at all times of the day and night, including repeatedly waking my family in the middle of the night. I now have to keep my phone turned off at night because of these harassing calls.  I repeatedly ask these callers to not call me and tell them that I am on the National ?Do not call? list, and did so again on at least 10 of these calls last night. I suspect that they come from spoofed numbers which are giving false numbers to my caller ID. The purpose of these calls is to trick me into giving the personal information by allowing them to access to my computer either for the purpose of them misusing my computer, possibly to steal my financial information to steal from me, or possibly to get access to sensitive information that I may have as a ???????????????????? worker. I suspect that the reason that they kept calling back over and over this time, was that I may have upset them by keeping them on hold for a long time and giving them the initial impression that I was going to give them access to my computer when I had no intention of actually doing so. While they were unsuccessful in harming me or the ????????????? in this attack, they sound like they call person after person until they are successful. They would not continue to do this unless some of the people that they call do fall for their ruse. Stopping them from continuing to do this will prevent significant theft or significant espionage, possibly both.

All of these calls are from males and females with what sounds like Indian accents (last night was always the same male), who tell me that they are calling from Microsoft because there is a problem with my computer and they want to help me fix it. They ask me to go to my computer. I do not know what they will ask next because I never let them get further than that. This time my caller Id said these calls came from 14254069022 (7 calls), 19712179508 (5 calls), 19712179514 (5 calls), 12063971127 (4 calls), 19712179518 (3 calls).

On prior occasions, they have called from 10999100119, 109999100119, 10234567890, 15126104761, 12064560661, 0000000000, 1284678, 284678 and others.

I previously filed a complaint to the Honolulu police (cannot recall complaint number), and did so again on 10 September, with HPD complaint report number ????????????????????

T Mobile needs to work with The Honolulu police and any other agency that can investigate this matter (perhaps FBI, national security agencies, and/or Interpol) to punish these criminals and prevent them from harming and harassing others. While I have no way to determine where the calls are actually originating from, T Mobile have the technology to do so.  Calling after being not to call, calling from spoofed numbers which gives me no way to identify them or call them to demand that they stop calling, and attempting to gain access to my computer and personal information under false pretenses, are all illegal acts.
I have now added the new numbers to my call blocking list, but since they keep calling from different numbers (or are spoofing different caller IDs), I expect that these calls will continue.

Thank you, Jayne. I just got the call, and the way the guy was acting was really suspicious. Saying "Oh, no!" and "That's very bad!"
Interestingly enough, about 10 seconds before I got the call from this number, I got a call from 971-217-9514, and when I said "Hello", they hung up. Then the same voice came on when I answered again.
There isn't much difference between "scam" and "scum".

They called today at 15:06 CET. We are based in Zurich, Switzerland. They told me that my computer was generating an error and they were receiving it. I paid attention as I coincidentally installed Office in my computer this morning. The conversation turned suspicious when I asked again and they mentioned that my "windows" will get slower and slower. Well, I have a Mac! So I told them they were confused with someone else and I hanged up.

Yeah this lady called me and siad the same thing"your computer is sending me 937 viruses and error codes" YOU MUST let me fix it for YOUR safety" lmao  I kept her on the line by asking how she got my number and "whats my name" Why are you not calling me by name? what OS is my computer running? she just kept saying are you infront of your computer? don't you care about it? If you do nothing it's not her fault if it crashes and it will be locked out"like she had control of that ability"
I got her so pissed off she cussed me and said i was"wasting her time!" and hung up on me! The scammer was mad i wasted her time EPIC! lmao! I called the number back and had the same response of press 1 if you want on the do not call list- that im sure is a ploy to register you for more calls in the future so be careful!

Don't get mad get even lol Think of stuff to distract them and get them pissed off and waste their time and patience lol
