Just got this call on the cell phone - I did not answer and they left no voice mail.  It is a Washington state area code.

For the above poster:  If you participate in the call and then click to be "removed", the only thing you have done is just confirm that your number is valid and that you will answer your phone.  Be ready for a lot more calls from other numbers.

Received a call from 206-397-1848 listed as TBD on my cell ID. They left no message. I didn't answer (never do when it's an unknown number) what kills me is I've only had this number a month and they already got ahold of it!!

It's the Feds establishing a cinnection to your phone so they can access your phones microphone. It's called a roving tap. Completely legal. They can listen to you

Robo caller from TBD (To Be Determined?). Another scam in a horse sh*t pile of scams. So many calls coming in to my work number that I started a list of them and will not answer if the number that shows up on the caller ID is on my list.  My list now has almost 150 numbers on it (All credit card or health care scams and robo callers). Many state that by pressing 1 or 2 you will add your number to their "removed" list. DO NOT ALL FOR THAT!!  Just hang up or do not answer the phone. By pressing anything you are telling them that your number is a good number and they will continue to call and even sell your number to other scamming companies.

I have seen your replies, however what really frustrates me is that my family who is India gets calls from the following numbers at midnight their time (day time in US). This has been really frustrating and we have no clue who they are and why do they want to call India number.

Any help to track / trace them down would be really appreciable. Have small kids and they get up due to the calls and this has become really disturbing back there. :-(

Second call from this number in as many days. Both times, caller hung up as soon as I answered. Annoying, certainly, but minor, compared to some of the other phone intrusions I've had to deal with.

This number keeps calling and hanging up when my voice mail turns on.  Not a listed or identifiable number.

Everyday, I get a call from this number on my cell phone everyday. I don't know anyone in area code 206 so I don't answer. And the caller does not leave a message either.

Incorrect, I worked for AT&T and NANPA is the acronym for the North American Numbering Plan Administration, the organization responsible for assigning telephone area codes.  I have no idea how you arrived at such a stupid conclusion, but keep up the good work. :p

They called first from 914-219-0080 at 9:09PM and then again on 206-397-1848 at 10:39PM.  Both were listed as TBD and TBD Infor on caller ID.

Called 9:45 PM Did not recognize number and did not answer. Blocked number.

Call every night at 9:38pm.  Very annoying!

This phone number belongs to a public utility named CallerID4U, Inc., which is run by Paul Maduno and Luis Martinez.  They have entered into revenue sharing agreements with telemarketers who make illegal unsolicited telephone calls.  They profit directly from these outbound unsolicited telephone calls.

According to phone # ownership records, this number was given to NANPA of Seattle WA in 2009. I havent looked it up to see what charity it is because it doesnt matter. When will they start GIVING some of the charity to me instead of trying to strong arm my last penny out of my wallet? UGH!

We been getting these calls for some time, usually 2 per day in quick succession, no one on the other end. So I called the number, there's a option to put your number on their do not call list. I tried it, we'll see if it works.
