"Marco" was on Caller ID.

I have received several calls for the last several months. As many as two or three a day. No messge left. This is a nusiance. What do they want. How do I stop the calling. Last call 5:30PM 7/29/2010.

Found some possibilities on the internet.  One is a marketing research company ( data mining?)

Another is some type of investments in hedge funds/etc.  Be wary, be very wary of those who approach you about investing!!

Some type of research............ they won't stop calling. You have to be on your guard nowdays because even the smallest bit of information about you can be used for negative purposes. I wouldn't tell them anything other than to stop calling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

206 area code is Seattle Washington.  

U of Pittsburgh isn't in Seattle.

Something "fishy" here!

Have had the same call several times, and like you, the woman talked so fast I couldn't really understand what they want. Something about they weren't selling anything, bla bla bla, some type of research bla bla, I told her that I was on the "do not call list" she got defensive and told me that they have the right to call because it's research, etc., etc.  I told her that I didn't want to hear it, and hung up, just as I had done previously.

Where is my right to not be bothered?  I was awakened two mornings in a row!  High pressure BS if you ask me!!!!!!!!

I also got a call from this number.  Macro was on caller ID  206-397-5017.  I have received seveal calls in the past few months from this number. No message left.

Received call but did not answer.
They left no message either.

Just got one.  U of Pittsburgh - they said - but I couldn't understand what they wanted.  Poor hearing on the phone.

Anyone else get a call from this number?
