It was an automated message of winning free tickets for a cruise. Clearly it was scam so I filed a complaint, but this week I received a call from another number from the same Washington State location and this time no message just someone listening and hanging up.

I am not interested in your product so please quit calling.

I keep repeatedly getting 206 messages from the same area but there are different numbers almost every time.

I got calls several times a day and then it stopped.  Now I get messages every day.  I believe it may have some connection to my cell phone provider.  I don't use the voicemail now, nor do I use the message system.  Too much chatter.

This happened with other cell phones I have had from the same company.  If you don't respond, they eventually cease.

Good luck ignoring them!

I tracked down these people from the latitude and longitude of the address where this number is registered, at a 12434 sunrise valley in reston virginia then found this site and i believe this is the scamming ***** and the Indian dude from the calls....I WILL find out for sure....can't stand a liar or a thief and these people are both....who ever this is calling you will regret trying to rip me..... Nobody published a directory of cell phone numbers. It's just a robo call using an auto dialer - they don't use a directory - they pick an area code and an exchange and just call every single number starting from 0000 to 9999.

My 80 year old mom gets calls repeatedly from this number.  A man claims he is "law enforcement" and demands her name.  Very much a bully, trying to scare her and get her name.  Claims she dialed his number but she didn't.  I think since she is elderly they are targeting her for some scam.  Of course, if he was really law enforcement he would find out her name without needing her to tell him.

I got the call on 11-02, too. I answered and it was a blast from a cruise ship!

It's simply a computer program systematically calling EVERY number within EVERY 3-digit exchange.  They don't know who or what you are, or that nobody has this number.  They call all numbers.  What I find strange, as does everyone else, is that if I answer my phone, their machine hangs up.  Therefore, what is the purpose of calling me in the first place, if you don't want to actually talk to me when I answer???????

I just didn't answer the phone.  I'm sure a certain agent that works for afflac has passed my number to these jerks.

Washington University saint louis has 2 employees (seth crosby and monika ray) who use other peoples' emails , messenger, and txt messages from my phone.

I have notified the police, took seth crosby to court and other criminal actions are as well as civil are pending.

I was told by the police to notify the FBI and other agencies.

called my cell phone and let it ring about 4 times and before I could get to it they had hung up' I don't want these telemarketers calling my cell for a trip to the Bahamas. If I want to go to Bahama, I will go.but not with some scam deal they are pedaling. It really got screwed up when they published a directory for cell phone numbers. Had I wanted mine posted I would have had it put in the local newspaper.

I had a missed call from this number 15 minutes ago. I have AT&T but my work VerIzon phone is forwarded. I hope they don't continue, but I'm glad I didn't hear the phone...I did call back and got the fast busy signal.
