I like to have fun with them. I start talking with a goofy accent and ask them about viagara. They say yes we hav it and I tell them I need a lot, like 1,000. Sometimes I'll ask how it works and what does it do. They just keep talking and taking me serious. All kinds of ways to have fun with them.

I have been trying to get these people to stop calling for several months, but lately, their calling efforts have re-doubled...just talked to AT&T for the 2nd time and NOTHING CAN BE DONE on their end. My next step is to report these leeches to the FTC. Glad I found this site...helps to know I'm not the only one being harrassed!

I am on the DONOT CALL LIST.  This person called my cell phone.  Because I use my cell phone for business, I am forced to answer...even if I don't recognize the caller.  I want it stopped.

I got a call from this number. Their new scam is to tell you they are from the DEA (drug enforcement administration). They tell you that you have ordered something from these drug dealers and the cops will show up at your house with a search warrant within minutes if you don't cooperate with them.

They say they can get you for obstruction of justice, or receiving drugs illegally. I thought I was going to be framed! The only way for them to call off the cops is to send them a money order for $3,000 and your life will be "back to normal",  otherwise you will spend the next few days in jail.

They tell you to look them up on the internet if you don't believe them. Sure enough, they were on the internet. They had put up several phony blogs.

These people are hackers and slime balls. Hang up on them. They have several numbers. The whole thing  seemed a bit suspicious to me. After I calmed down, I found this site. These people have been harassing me for months, trying to get me to buy drugs from them. Last night I got a call from the same number at 4:00 AM.

That was enough for me. I've changed my number.

I got a call from this number two nights in a row. The first night my mom answered and was very stern and said no no no to whatever they were selling. The second night, I answered (young female) and had a conversation with a man who had a thick Indian accent also claiming to be from Seattle. When I told him I was healthy and didn't need drugs/he was wasting his time, he was very persistent and didn't take no for an answer. So eventually I said that I was on the do not call list--then he asked me who the name of the agent was that I had talked to about the list---I was like wtf... IDK what to say... so I just hung up. Literally less than a minute later he called back. My mom answered this time and he asked to speak to me (he said my first name). Creepy that he knew my name and I never told him it... so I'm not really sure what to think about that! I know these people are half way across the world, but seriously. such a pain in the a**. PLEASE don't fall for this b***s***...

Add your number to your state and the national Do Not Call List.  Next time they call, tell them you are on the Do Not Call List and if they call you again, you'll report them to the FTC.  I've yet to have any of the call me back after I threaten to file a complaint (which you can do online if they do call again).

Last year I became victim of Identity Theft (informed by IRS when someone tried to file electronic claim for large refund in my name).  I have had five to seven phone calls a day from every fleabag scam artist known to man, including several drug companies.  US Pharmacy has also  called under other names and from other phone numbers, including:

645-400-7388
800-340-6598
877-479-2455
801-742-8160
585-542-5770

Each of these numbers has been reported to the FTC.  I currently have close to 80 numbers blocked from my phone thanks to my service provider.  I have learned so much from this year of torture -- including the fact that the number you see on your phone or TV display is not always the number they are calling from.  Apparently they have the ability to control what is being displayed!  Also, numbers reported to the FTC don't get thoroughly investigated unless several complaints are filed for that same number.  What a racket.

My standard practice now is as follows:

>If the number pops up and I don't recognize it, I grab the phone on the first ring and HANG UP IMMEDIATELY.  Apparently if you can catch it on the first ring, they might code it as a nonworking number.
>Never answer the phone.  Once they get an answer, it is coded as a working number, and they will keep calling forever.  Also, they sell working numbers to other lowlife operations and the calls will double or even triple.
>I had my answering machine turned off for several months while I began recording all the numbers that were calling and reporting them to my service provider for blocking and reporting them to the FTC.
>Now that I am using my answering machine again, the message the caller gets is in a professional male voice saying only:  "Hello.  Please leave your message after the tone."  No way for them to reognize my voice, know whether I am male or female, etc.

When I do get a call, like the one I am reporting today, my first step is to come to this website and look up the number, and enter a report.  Next I go to my service provider and have the call blocked.  And I file an FTC complaint form.

It is very helpful you you post here if you can give as much information as possible about the type of call you received so that others will be aware.  Maybe if we all start doing this consistantly, someone will finally take action to get this practice under control.

One final point -- because of the ID Theft, I am now working with an attorney, and I report to him any organization (like a payday loan company or supposed debt collector) that is using several different numbers.  I also filed a report with my state district attorney's office.

I can be as persistant as they are.  Everyone keeps saying "change your phone number" but I refuse to do that.  I am not the criminal here.  Besides, once you get a new number, it starts all over again in this world where anything you do requires a phone number.  Once one person/company gets it, it is open for scams.

I received  a call tonight and this guy had a thick Indian accent. he tried to sell me any drug I wanted.  I told him I don't have a prescription. He said it doesn't matter.  We went back and forth for a while and then he asked for my credit card number.he said I would get the drugs in two weeks.  He told me his name was Kevin Peter from Mexico.   Then I asked where his office was. He said Seattle, Washington. He couldn't name the address until he looked it up on google.   I ended the conversation by saying that I am not going to support al Qaeda or Hamas by sending him money.   He still then wanted my credit card info because he spoke broken English.   My advice if you receive a call from them, f*** with them, make them angry and insult them... There is nothing the authorities can do to them because they are calling from overseas...  So make their job miserable as possible... Do not give them any identifying info....

I answer the phone put it on speaker and sit it down, but I never say anything, leave it on speaker and go about my business, all I hear is ello? ello? ello?  Just makes me laugh, turning the tables on them by wasting their time!  They used to stay on the line for up to 4 minutes but lately it is only about 15 sec.

I thought that the company had finally given up but they started calling again last month.  There's no way to get rid of them.  Someone who previously had my phone number actually ordered drugs from them.  If I have time I just see how long I can keep them on the line.  So far may record is 4 minutes and 20 seconds when they actually put me through to a supervisor.  He told me I was wasting his time.  BINGO!

Started getting calls from 206-430-1011, MEGAPATH, but they never left any messages. Today I answered and a woman with a heavy Indian accent calling from "US Pharmacy"?? Told her I wasn't familiar with them. She asked what medications I was taking? Trying to be polite I told her I wasn't interested in them handling my medication, but she persisted and I hung up. They called back immediately, twice. I let it go to voicemail.

US Pharmacy. No idea how they got my number, but they continually call me from different numbers trying to sell me illegal prescription drugs. Every time they call I ask them to take me off their calling list, but they will not do it. Why can't someone do anything about these people? What is the point of a no call list if these people can continue to call us?

Trying to sell medication without a prescription. Will not take no for an answer. I have asked them a number of times to put me on there do not call list or to be removed from there list. they have my name, phone and address, said they use the white pages for numbers. White pages do not list my address.

US Pharmacy likes to call me, all the time. I wonder if I'm part of their training.
So the usual stupid conversation.
"What drugs do you take?" You can't tell them no, so I make up something, he can't find it on his list.
Rats. Finally get tired of the moron, tell him I don't do business with stupid people. I know he is stupid because they keep calling when I make fun of them, laugh at them, tell them to f**k off, and they call again. How stupid can you get. So it's not as much fun as it used to be. Punched it up on the digitone call blocker.
It won't even ring. So sad, I will miss fun chats with US Pharmacy.

2:03 pm CID says MEGAPATH. Huh? Anyway it's my old friends at US Pharmacy. I can't believe they still call me. I had just sat down to read, so decided to chat. I tell him I get all my drugs at the drug store down the street. That get's him all excited. "What drugs do you take"? Ready for business.
I say you are calling from India, or Pakistan, or Drugistan, because you can barely speak English.
Oh no I am in Washington, but then can't pronounce Seattle. Too funny; I have to start laughing.
Finally tell him it's time for my nap and click.

I should have used the joke somebody posted here at 800 notes, and talk to him about hamburger and steak for dinner tonight. We don't worship cows, we eat them.
