Received a call claiming I owe over $300 for physician services on 4 different accounts were sent to them this morning.  I explained that all bills related to my hospital stay earlier this year had been paid in full and I've received no bills from the company that sent me to collections.  I was told to call this company on Monday and work it out with them.  When I asked for the address and phone number of the company because I know of no outstanding debt and have no idea what number to call, they refused to provide it to me!  

Jessica was VERY RUDE and had an attitude.  Basically told me the company has sent me bills and I should know who I owe and how to contact them.  Called the number again and spoke with a gentleman that was much nicer, but still got nowhere - he refused to give me the company's address or phone number and threatened to disconnect our call when I pushed (and I didn't use any 4 letter words even though I would have like to.

I took the time to let them know there is no M******* Mendoza at my number.   Do they bother to remove my number from the list?   No, another call every month.  Are they hoping that I will meet M******* Mendoza sometime in the future and have him/her call them?   I LOVE the Reject List feature on my phone! (Thanks for wasting my time and voicemail UCS..)

They lie and leave deceiving messages. They are a debt collection agency. They keep calling and that person does not even live here anymore. They misrepresent themselves on the phone that they are a collection agency.

Wow... how many times do you have to call THE WRONG PERSON without receiving a call back before you give up? The call basically goes "If you ARE ________ or if you KNOW ____________ please call or have them call ... etc etc"

I keep getting calls from this number. I've told them several times that I am not the person they are trying to reach nor am I related to them. They still harass me a few times a week.

Every time they leave a voice mail message on my 'limited usage cell phone', (I buy just enough minutes in advance for emergency calls) they cost me money for no good reason.

This used to be a good company.
Management changed, they have become illegally aggressive.

Basically told them I'm not paying, to kiss my a** and to have a nice day!

I have filed a report with the FTC.... they are HORRIBLE they have laughed at me, mocked me, hung up on me and so much more! They don't mind lying and even took money out of my bank account when not authorized. They now call me when ever they please even my husband and demand money. They went to court for something I do not owe and got a judgement without ever telling me. I have gotten a lawyer and will be sueing them. They have not gotten a garnishment but I dare them to go, I'm getting my case together with my lawyer and they will be sorry!

Ten to one that the posts stating that they had pleasent dealings with these people, are posts put up by employees from the "collection company"

I would not put it past them to resort to crazy shite like that.  I may be slightly paranoid, but I still feel like this isn't a way off base thought.

They had also been calling my mom. They even lied to my mom by telling her that I gave them permission to talk to them.

Hope they like the law suit coming their way.

I've been getting calls from this number a few times a month at least. I asked them to send me a hard copy of the "bill" that I owe. Have yet to receive one..

It was a strange thing.  This number appeared the day before yesterday on my phone and from this website found out it looked to be United Collections Service.  Then yesterday, I got a call that registered as a business associate of mine and I answered thinking it was her.  Turns out it was United Collections Service!  I don't know what kind of software out there that can do that but it was scary!  The bill is legitimate, Jessica was pleasant enough, and I didn't argue, just made payment arrangements with my debit card for the next three months...hopefully we can swing those!

This number called me this morning.  It kept asking me to hold so I hung up.

I did a Google search on the number.  (206)431-3731 also shows up as a listed number for an Alaska Airlines SEC filing.  I don't know if Alaska Airlines released the telephone number, or if this likely debt-collection company is faking their calling number.

These people called me about a bill that my grandmother’s sister had!  She has been dead for three years and these people found my telephone number on a document from a doctors visit almost four years ago.
Call 800-821-5479 and speak with Cliff.  He is hard of hearing so you have to speak very loud.  His hearing was so bad that we had to speak with his supervisor.  
These people are not in the business of being nice, so be firm.

I gave the message to my attorney they are collecting for a dr's bill that I have a filed and discharged chapter 7 on that they keep calling my job which is against the law. My lawyer is filing appropriate paperwork to sue them so Jessica, keep calling me, I keep all of your messages and my WORK phone time and date stamps them. Your company will end up paying me.

I called this number back to let them know they had the wrong person, I got my number in December.  The women proceeded to tell me the that "Jeremy's" mother had given her this number.  I said wrong number.  She told me that she would temporarily remove the number for my "convenience"  I told her there is no "temporary" removal as it is the wrong number... started to mention collection agency and she HUNG UP on me... I didn't swear at her - I was forceful that she remove the number.  I called her back, she didn't answer and I left the message that I better not get another call from her - otherwise I will go to a supervisor.  I happen to work at a collection agency and know that they are to remove the number if indicated that it is not the correct household.  Do I have to start mentioning messaging requirments?  Why would you want to continue to call a number that you know is wrong - can we say useless, I am obviously not going to pay someone elses bill... who would?

I got my number three months ago, it is actually a Google Voice number, and goes to a cell phone.  When I got called from this number, it was only a recording saying to please hold and sorry for the wait.  Nope, I have a prepaid phone, so I won't be spending my minutes for somebody else's spam mistake.

They just called me 10/05/2010 around 6pm or so.  Had my friend answer the phone because I didn't recognize the number.  The woman asked for me by first name only, my friend said No and from when he said the woman calling became flustered and said "OH" and hung up.  Sounds likes she was a person in training.

i get several calls from this number. usually around 6-8 calls a week. sometimes a man named Walt leaves a msg saying he is not a solicitor & i need to call him back because its very important & its urgent. he never says why he is calling. so i decided to look up this phone # online. why would i call him back if he doesnt tell me why he is calling or who he works for? but...now i know from looking it up online!

First off,thank goodness for my application that blocks their calls. I bet I got u guys beat..they called me and left a message, had the nerve to say "I have some good news, give me a call back, u won"...that really took the cake. Never answer these vultures calls. Their address is on this page. Pay em a visit. I did. Shady b*****ds. They are just as much a crooked,dishonest, con artist as the people they are supposedly critisizing. Be firm with these a***oles, they are ruthless.
