When you do a "reverse look-up" on the phone number (866)216-1325, you get the following message:
"This is not a valid phone number"!!

I received a post card from them which has a phone # (866)216-1325.
When you call the #, you get a recording;  "This number is temporarily unavailable for inbound calls."
What kind of a freaky company does business this way?  SCAM-SCAM-SCAM!!!

Received a call from a "Business Advisor" representative.  She said they had rebates for our business phone lines.  Caller asked to verify our mailing address, so they could send a rebate from the phone company.  She became rude when she was told we do not give information over the phone and would like to be taken off the calling list.

Just received a call from (206) 445-6079 requesting mailing address to send me $300.00 in phone rebates. I wouldn't give out info and everytime I asked who they were the guy just repeated the same script to me. He started to get pushy telling me to hurry and give him my address so I could get back to my day. Then another guy joined on the line saying he was a verifier & said they were recording the call (Trying to sound official like the phone company does) He again tried to get me to tell my last name & address and I said no, that this number used to be a hm office business line, but now its residential. He repeated the script saying the rebates were also good for residential, all they wanted was my address to send me the rebates and some literature to review. I repeated that I was not interested and would not give my last name or address out. He apoligized for bothering me & hung up. Who are these people?

I'm on the national do not call list, and I said this. "Ashley" ignored this and continued her script. I asked to talk to a manager 4x before talking to "Joe Brown" who said he'd take me off their list, but since my number is a business number the National Do Not Call List does not apply. Utter complete BS.

I have received a couple of calls from "Business Assist" and only picked up one of them.  Like those before asked for my address so they could get rebates to me.  Probably trying to slam the phone line.  Asked to be removed from the call list.

Called my office and tried to send me "rebates".  My wifes business was hit with a scam like this and got nailed with a $300.00 bill.

Same attempt to lure me into a conversation about rebates.  Fortunately I can speak louder and faster than the clown from "business assist".

Same as the other calls, they were very pushy and wanted to send us "rebates". Our phone service was recently switched from AT&T, so this was obviously some phone slammer trying to scam us. They never identified themselves by company, but the caller ID said "business assist". NEVER GIVE THESE TYPE OF PEOPLE A REAL NAME. I always make up a name. I also never use the word yes with them. They will cut and paste the conversation to try and make it look like you agreed to their product, and then bill you for it. By making up a name, they don't have anyone real at the company they can claim authorized anything. If they persist in their scam, I tell them that my boss is available, and then I blow a sports air horn into their ear. What are they going to do, sue me? "Your Honor, I was breaking the law and calling someone on the Do-Not-Call list, and they deafened me."

As she was telling me her "shhpeal" I googled the phone # and saw this. I asked her to remove my phone number from her calling list. WE will see if she calls back again.
She was very quick to want to verify my co. and address....

I just received a call from that number.  The woman on the other end told me she was from Business Assist (as did my caller ID) and that we would be receiving rebates for our phone service.  The woman on the phone told me to hold while someone came for address verification.  After about 10 seconds of waiting I hung up on her.  Obviously not legitimate.
