DO NOT CALLED MY NUMBER NO MORE

This phone number belongs to a public utility named CallerID4U, Inc. They have entered into revenue sharing agreements with telemarketers who make illegal unsolicited telephone calls.  They profit directly from these outbound unsolicited telephone calls.

This appears to be a clear violation of a number of laws, including 16 C.F.R. §310.3(b) of the Federal Telemarketing Sales Rule.

The DNC will not stop scammers,  frauds,  crooks and the likes from calling anyone. It has never been implied that it could.   It is just a list of those who request that telemarketing businesses  (Telephone sales) not call them.  It's Like a stree Stop Sign, only the lawful will stop.  These crooks will call you as much as they want and nothing short of taking out your telephone or purchasing a good call blocker will help.  As far as proof,  look at all of the posts made on this board and see how many of the millions and millions of legitimate businesses in America has called you..Harassed you or anyone else.  The complaints here are about scammers,  frauds,  and political surveys, non-profit  and similar loopholes.  How many  times would your phone ring if the millions of Companies who are not now calling you,  were allowed to freely call everyone for purposes of sales and new business in addition to those frauds,  scammers,  crooks etc.  who are now calling you. How many calls from legitimate businesses are you now getting?  The DNC does not immunize anyone against calls.  It's just a list. And was intended only to be a list.  A list of those who registered,  saying that they did not want to be called for Marketing purposes.  The list is Required to be purchase at regular intervals by legitimate businesses who engage in this type of marketing.   Only the honest will abide by it.  Don't expect it to be honored by thieves...

The 'Do Not Call List' wont help you, because The DNCL itself is complete BS. Show me any proof the list ever put a stop to, fined, or otherwise inconvenienced these parasite scammers in any way. SHOW ME!

Called at 1:30pm, I didn't answer, they left no message.

The more of these messages I read, the more suspicious I have become.  I think it is a debt collector faking identity as this travel company.  They want to get current information from you so you can be harrassed even more.  This is blatant violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.  They are going around the rules to get your current info.  What about the money they want towards the cruise?  I would never give my name out to some stranger over the phone!!!!  Much less my payment information!!!!  Beware of calls from Strangers!!!

They also use last 4 digits of 6159.  They likely have several different numbers with  ending  with 61xx. Tey called  Wed. night and tonight.  I do not answer, they leave stupid ship horn message ON MY VOICE MAIL wasting my minutes on my cell phone!@@@@@#$%%@^

I went through the process and spoke with a girl at the end, and she asked me for me for my name and zip code. I asked her for more information and she said she didn't have any information and she couldn't transfer me to a travel agent unless I give my information. I asked her why should I give my information to get if she didn't have any? Through out the call she was rude and continued to interrupt me and jump to conclusions. She continued to say do you just want me to put you on the do not call list. I then asked her why she is being so rude and what her name was, then she hung up.

Yah well good luck with getting rid of Directv. They are a whole other nite mare by themselves.  Wait until you get charged for X-rated movies that you didn't order! This happened to us about 12 years ago while we were on vacation and not even home.  I swore that if I ever get the opportunity to let folks know what a terrible company they are, I will. I am not the only one, either. Go look it up online at www.consumeraffairs.com for a start. That will open your eyes for sure. NO customer service, rude and stupid and smug. Good luck with that... I am betting its just starting with this bunch.

Thanks! I was able to call the number back and get it removed from the call list. This spammer was driving me crazy for months.

I got a call from 206-445-6133 and it was the same thing. I ignored the first call and they stopped calling me but then they started calling with this new number and its really getting out of hand. they called me twice in 20 min. with me not answering. they called my friend 2 and she called them back and got her number taken off their list. I will do that but people are saying not to....should I? I don't want them emailing me or calling me again ....

Keeps calling my phone. Leaves no message...

I got a call from this number.  I didn't recognize it, so I didn't pick up.  No one left a message.

Every day this week a call from this number.  I don't answer and sick of it.  Last week were calls from this number except the last two digits were 33 instead of 44.  They use every trick in the book.

Twice I have received an automated call that starts with a cruise ship air horn (?) and "This is your captain speaking." For answering 10 'public opinion' questions, you're supposed to receive two expense-paid tickets on a Nassau cruise. I haven't listened all the way through to get to a person to say, "put me on your do-not-call list."

I was getting the same crap from a different number out of Virginia. I read some posts that said you could call it back and it would immediately prompt you to remove your number. It did and I did. However, this is bs!! I cannot stress it enough...DO NOT DO THEIR OPT OUT OPTION!! All they do is realize it's a live number and all more often from a different number. So you know, DirecTv is who sold my number. I know bc when I recently switched to DirecTV, they spelled my name terribly wrong...it wasn't even a name, just random letters. Now this crazy spelling of my last name comes on at least 6 pieces of paper spam mail, 8 different companies emailing me, and at least 4 new companies calling me for crap each day. If DirecTV didn't have the NFL package, I would drop them immediately! They have been absolute crap for customer service, selling anything they can, making a mess of our bill, and not offering the same features as Dish Network. I absolutely hate them, and as soon as we don't need them anymore for football, they're gone!

Their existence is a violation to God's green Earth.

Absolute harassment with no way to remove your number. They are in violation of spam by not offering a way to be removed.

Got a call, answered, caller dropped the line with no words.  I get a call from a similar number as this about every other week.  If I answer they drop the line (it is my work number).  If I don't answer I get a telemarketer message about a cruise.

This number has called 5 times today.  I reported onthe do not call list site but I don't think it did any goo.  useless spamming telemarketer.

I did not pick up because I was on the other line.     Called the number back (it was a telemarketing service), and opted to have my number removed from their call list.
   I first pressed option 1, next put in my number (they are calling), and then again pressed option 1.  
Hopefully I won't ever be hearing from them after 24-72 hours!

the cruise ship thing is real and if you pay a 65 dollar per person port free you get the free cruise. No bs.
