2 calls, no message

Another spoof/scam call most likely from my local area using an area code from some other state. My equipment catches these calls and I enjoy wasting their time and effort. Even if it is costing them to spend a penny or two  I enjoy that. The only way to stop these harassing calls is to ask your Senator to make spoof calls illegal.

They started calling......  bunch of Bums.  Republicans most likely . . . . . . .

Again the telemarketers must be using the DNC list to obtain the numbers they call. Can't gov't get on them?  Whoops forgot - shut down!

I received 3 calls on Saturday from this number and I didn't answer and they didn't leave a voice mail. They called again on Sunday and I answered and they wanted to talk to my husband said they were conducting a survey for State Farm Insurance. I hung up. I called our insurance agent today and said was told that the insurance company wouldn't do that and I did the right thing by hanging up.

The scammers that called were most likely Bears fans, which accounts for their lack of intelligence. Why would they be watching their home team, when they, and their team, are both losers.

The chance that these a holes calling from the "research center" getting answered at the very start of the Packer's game on a Sunday afternoon is nil. Just for the annoyance of the phone ringing during the game they have lost their chance of ever receiving an answer. Most likely this is some sort of a scam anyway, or they would have left a message.

This is another caller that gets the silent treatment from me.  Just pick up the call, make no sound whatsoever, and listen to the dim bulb at the other end saying "hello, hello?".

I get calls from this number with no answer like the other comments.  This call is to see if yours is a good number so they can scam with the next call, be ware.

Frequently calls from this research center, that ignore my 'do no call' status. I hang up on them, but they still keep calling me. Real pests!

Caller stated it was a survey. I responded, "this is a police substation." Very apologetic and said,"sorry, I will remove this number." Hoping after numerous calls each day.

Research Center on phone ID, caller IDs himself as SE Research Center on behalf of events affecting Alabamians. Do Not Call List does not apply so he claims, nor does he care that he called and interrupted our Sunday Afternoon Family Lunch. So.... I can tell you, he may not care that he is INTRUDING on MY HOME PHONE and Solitude, but giving him One Big Blast of My Signal Air Horn sent a very strong message to the punk a**le.

Time to block another number!

this place is just unreal ! i have been getting calls every day from them . if you call the number 206 445 6611 back it tells you they are closed now it tells you this every time i have called . i called it at 1 pm EST today on a monday and it still told me the same thing . i did call the police and filed a harassment complant about them . tomorrow when my lawer is in i will see about suing them . i found on line it is not legalfor any one to keep robo calling you . the starting fine is 1500 dollars and can go way up from there . it does not matter if they are trying to sell you any thing or it's research it's still not legal .

Received a call at 8:05 pm last night. A Sunday night! Here is the information I have tracked down about this company. I say inundate them with requests to be removed from their database.
They are Directions in Research based in San Diego, CA. Phone number is 1 800 676 5883. The website is DIresearch.com. There is a link to have your number removed. Don't know if it will work or not, but I did tell them I would report them if it continued.

they have caledl me every other day now for the last two weeks most of the calls come after business hours to my fax number .
so they can call you when ever they like it seams because they are not selling you any thing on the 1st contact call . they are  just taking a survey ? it's just another loophole in the totally uses less do not call list .

I received a call from Rosa from Directions & Research wanting to speak with the business owner about the company vehicles. I asked why she was calling and she replied they were conducting a survey about the makes and models of the vehicles we use and wanted to speak to the business owner. I told her no, that he was too busy to be bothered with something like that and to not call again. Then I promptly hung up on her.

These people called CONSTANTLY as late as 9 or 10pm.  I finally answered the phone and told them to take us off the list.  They told me that they do not sell anything so the do not call list does not apply to them.  I said to take us off their company's list because I do not wish to be called again... actually I only got about two words into it before the woman on the other end said "whatever" and hung up on me.  Hopefully this is the end, but I have my doubts.

I figure that posting to this site is a waste of time. It's for information only. I'm sick of having my privacy violated by unwanted calls on my home phone as well as my cell phone. I'M ON A NO CALL LIST FOR BOTH MY CELL PHONE AND HOME PHONE. We the people continue to have our basic rights stripped away. Our legislators are useless. They could give a %^%#@ about any citizens peace. They are insulated and think only about where their next millions are coming from and from which special interest group.

do not call me again

Survey for vaccinations in the household.  I asked to be put on do not call list and she replied with we do not have a do not call list.  She said the company was Directions In Research 616-942-6880.  I called them an talked to a lady that said she will put me on there do not call list.  Note, I am on the national and state do not call list.  Caller ID = Research Center.

Got another call from this number today. This time they must have put the call on hold when the voice mail message started - I got a voice mail of music playing in the background.

Voice mail left was just background of some women talking. Obviously some type of call center full of telemarketers making tons of calls.

I have ViaTalk for phone service.  It allows me to route incoming calls by number.  I put this one in and forwarded it to a 900 sex line.  There, I hope it's a young hormone saturated college kid working for the "Research Center".  The owner of the 206-445-6611 will get the per minute charges!
