I received several calls from this number.  I did not answer any of the calls and they did not leave any message.

These people are scammers.  They have a variety of phone numbers.  I tracked one number to a VOIP company.  They responded that this scammer was spoofing numbers when calling, which can be done using VOIP.  They give various stories, but the bottom line is that they want your credit card information.

The guy told me I could win $15000.  I could not understand the name of the company he claimed to be from

Someone with an African accent called stating that I've been granted $7,000 free government Grant money and no need to pay back.  The caller said that I was selected because I paid taxes on time and had good track of record & credit.  The caller also asked what I might do with the money.  The caller then verified my name, my phone number, and address.  The caller then started asking PERSONAL questions that compromise personal security .... such as BIRTHDAY, social security number, and so on.  When I responded that I need her telephone number, her name, and address, the caller started using fowl language and getting upset for asking the question to verify her location.  The caller identified that she's from government and located in Washington D.C.. The above telephone number is REGISTERED in Seattle/Washington State.  The caller said that "SCREW YOU" and hang-up the phone.  I'M A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER ..... BE VERY CAREFUL ...... THIS IS A SCAM TRYING TO OPTAIN YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO STEAL YOUR IDENTITY.

Got a call from this number and someone called my name and disconnected. I called back and doused like a tele- marketer company. Voice greeting asked to press 1 if you don't want to receive future calls and I did that. Hopefully, I won't hear from them again.

Fail auto-dialer. Picked up, and it sat for a moment, and then the system hung up. They really need to program these things to not dial until a rep is actually available.

Called back, got a removal option, took it.

Call went to voice mail.  He then said Angela, Angela are you there?  Angela are you there?  Angela if you can hear me, go fuc& yourself, fuc& yourself hard.  Then he hung up.  I have it saved on my voicemail.

Just got a call from the same number. Its the first time the number has called me. I tried the getting off the list but they jsut wait a while an call back. Be careful! Seems like once these people have your number they give and/or sell it to anyone scam. Check all numbers by a search engine.

I just made my report RE: this number.  Also, if you call the number back, an automated menu allows to to (supposedly) take my cell phone # off their list.  We'll see if that works!

The good news is that I think people are a lot more informed about scams and frauds than they were years ago.  The bad news is that in the past year I heard on the Clark Howard financial radio show that the number one thing that thugs in Jamaica have turf wars over is e-mail lists of gullible people in the U.S.!   I am fairly confident that no one who reported this annoying/fraudulant number here is on those lists...

I received 2 calls from this number from the Seattle, WA. area.  Both times it was a man with a thick accent (Asian or Middle Eastern) who asked for someone else.  I told them I have had this number since 1999.  The man proceded to tell me that there was some money waiting for me, so I told him I would report them to the authorities and hung up.

Please see what can be done to stop these calls!!!

Ugh!! Count me in on getting this annoying #...the problem is when I see the # and don't answer it...the person on the other end stays on long enough making noise and then it appears that I have a voice mail...later I will check voice mail and no one is there! Total JERKS!! I am afraid we are gonna start getting a lot of these people! I have an idea...start talking in some crazy made up foreign language...that is what my brother does every time and they hang up! It might not solve the problem...but it could be fun REVENGE! Ha ha!!

Received phone call when I answed there was a telephone ringing on the other end - when the someone answered, heavy foriegn accent, told me he could help me financialy, I told him I was not interested, he became irrate - so click - he got the big hang up ! I hate these people calling my cell phone.

Received a call today from a man with a strong (I think asian) accent.  I could NOT understand a word he said.  When I told him that I did not understand him, he hung up.

These people call me over and over, I finally called the number back and a recording states if you do not wish to recieve thier "special offers" press 1 to be put on the do not call list... Hopefully it works, I would suggest everyone do this if it does... They usually call once a day, so if I haven't heard from them by the first of the week, I'll post again and let everyone know that it worked

If they call again I'm going to pretend HE won something by calling into a radio station. :D

I was pretending to be super excited...poor guy was probably ready to ring his bell and yell out, "I GOT ONE!"  

I think he caught on at the end as he developed a sarcastic undertone.  Hahahaha!

Scammers.  They spoof numbers and then do mass calling.  They want your credit card information.  B*****ds - it's no longer fun to have either an e-mail address or phone.

By the look of the dates from some of the previous reports here and on other "who's calling me sites" it looks like they're calling out to a lot of people.  I answered and found the guy's asian accent so thick I couldn't understand much besides "congratulations, my phone number, and $1300." I was going to just hang up but I tried telling him twice that I couldn't understand him.  He actually hung up on me.  That may be the first time a telemarketer hung up on me.  According to the posts above it sounds like this is some kind of bogus loan company.  The ironic thing is that I generally don't answer if I don't recognize the number (they'll leave a message if its that important) and the only reason I answered is because I'm waiting to hear back from my real bank about a real loan.  You'd think if you were going to try to scam someone you'd at least be able to communicate with them.

Just received a call today, from an man w/ an indian or asian accent wanting to tell me about a lending promotion.  He said he was from Universal Lending.  I asked him to take me off of his list, and that he was illegally calling a cell phone.
