i have gotten calls from this company 2-5x a day for the past 4 years that i have had this phone number with repeated attempts to be asked to remove my number, no i am not who you are reportedly looking for. they have yet to stop and i dont know how to get them too either. they call from all different numbers

Ok I have the ULTIMATE medicine call harassment...  Today at work- where I get all the lovely overseas medicine callers.. A guy left a voice message saying he is a Special Agent and had questions for me
About buying pharmaceuticals on line.  Sounded serious. Area code was northern Colorado - same state I live in.  I called him back - immediately he started yelling at me that I have committed several FEDERAL felonies by purchasing illegal meds from overseas.  Said he got  info from a company they shut down.  I told him I had never ordered meds on line and he called me a liar!  He said there were agents on the way right now to come to my work place to arrest me! He got more and more angry when I said I didn't know what he was talking about. He said he would try to work with me.  He asked if I was in a certain city (which is close to my city)  -  I said no - then asked if I worked at a certain place - I said no- he started to sound kind of flustered- I finally gathered my  wits and asked him WHAT agency was he from?  What was his name again?  He mumbled something - then hung up on me!!'. I was shaking!  I checked the Colorado DEA's website and found the scam outlined on their site!  I called them and made a recorded report.  Beware--- his voice mail still says he is DEA special agent Mike Turner and that he is not at his desk - but to leave a message...  Sounds unsure of his name and where he works. 970-370-5137.  So I called back later- changed my voice - told him to call me as I got a voice mail from him and to call me- SO----I gave him the Colorado DEA's office number to call me back at.  ;0)

For those who do not know, calls from this and many other phone numbers come from foreign call centers. Many are trying to sell pharmacy drugs or other products.  These centers do not care about US laws or Do Not Call lists - because they operate outside of US jurisdiction, they can operate with impunity.

I have read the low-wage stooges working at these call centers are pressured to get a certain number of calls answered per shift, so any requests to get them to discontinue, whether made nicely or sternly, will do you no good.  Their job is simply to get you to pick up the phone since that registers as a 'made call' for their quota.  They want to make the sale, but it isn't necessary, so they will never stop calling even if you tell them it's a wrong number or assure them that you will never order a product from them.

Even worse, blocking their phone numbers won't do much good.  As a call center, they have a virtually unlimited number of phone numbers they can call you from, and they will never stop calling your phone number once it is in their database.  

I have contacted my phone company (Verizon) and my senators about this.  Others should do the same - the technology exists for companies like Verizon and AT&T to provide simple call-blocking, but the service providers prefer you use your cell phone more or buy their expensive smart phones, so they are not motivated to help consumers with this problem.  If you call your senator/congressperson, ask them to find ways to stop the harassment of US citizens by foreign call centers that do not abide by US laws and DNC regulations.   Also, there should be a law that lets consumers opt out of 2-year phone plans if their service providers do not act to protect customers from being harassed like this.  

The best answer is to use a smart phone with blocking features, but of course, that costs more than a typical cell phone.  Another solution is to sign up with Google Voice - you can now transfer your existing phone number, and the service gives you complete control of which incoming calls to allow.  It may even be a cost savings, depending on your plan.   If enough people bi*** to the politicians and phone service providers, things may change.

I would ask anyone who gets calls from these clowns to report it to the DEA as i have.
The issue for me is not the annoying calls, but the fear that they might actually sell some of their non-fda monitored or approved product to a senior citizen.  In tough economic times we have all heard about seniors cutting down on expenses to try and make ends meet.  The rep on the phone offered me 10mg lipitor for $500 (360 pills!).  I dont take lipitor but imagine its not a couple dollars a pills.  What is more alarming is that i told them CVS is my pharmacy and my doctor's name is dr. wu.  The rep stated that they are affiliated with CVS and that Dr.Wu has approved my perscription.

After placing my fake order, which frustrated the #@)* out of them, they gave me their phone number as 407-901-4656.  I called the number and told them to stop calling and let them know that I was reporting them to law enforcement.

Unfrotunately not everyone knows that these guys are in india.  They dont disclose that fact until its too late, and pressure to get a credit card.   Please report them to the DEA.  I am sure with enough complaints the DEA could go after them where it hurts (merchant account).

If they are using a VOIP provider in the usa then the DEA needs to place pressure on the phone company.  If they are using a merchant bank in the USA then there is someone in the USA that can be held accountable.  This type of fraud is illegal and we need to act now before someone innocent gets scammed, or worse ends up taking the wrong medication.

I initially got calls from this number but then they starting blocking/hiding their ID. Now I chose not to answer when I see unknown or blocked ids and I just hope that when it's people I know they'll leave a message. The other day I actually answered and told the man (who had a strong Indian accent) that be had the wrong number. He told me F**k off you motherf***ker! I was a little shocked... And started laughing and told him to have a good day. What a bunch of losers... The person who pays them must be quite dumb... Unless it is my former cell phone provider trying to male me change again??

Had Same issues with these people on another number. Was telling them to take my number off the list for about 20 calls.  Then I kept answering the phone as "international law enforcement, you are being monitored..remove this number from the call list, what is you name and can I help you?"   They would hang up.  It worked for a short while, then they started calling under this number and I used the phone company to block them. What sucks is i have to pay $5 more a month to have the ability to block numbers.

This company no longer uses the number stated now they use unknowns showing up on the caller id, I have a block on all unknowns so It don't alert me but I still know the sick basterds are calling.

Don't waste your time with the Do Not Call list because it has no authority to go after anyone outside the US - like India.  If you answer the phone even once the calls will ramp up until you can no longer use your phone.  Even call blocking will only work for 2-4 weeks since they spoof their numbers.  The only way to lessen the number of calls is to never answer any call if you do not recognize the caller ID.  Last night I got a call from this number after 8PM.  No message and now it is blocked so hopefully no calls from these criminals for at least two weeks. Resist the temptation to attempt reasoning with these low life creeps and try to remember they get paid even if you curse at them so don't answer the phone.

Had these people call asking for an employee that not longer works here. I said that and asked if there was anything I could help him with (trying to give the benefit of the doubt) and the person proceeded to pause and say. "F#@$ you, F#@% you, you F#@%ing A$$hole".. I was so caught off guard I asked again if there was anything that I could help you with and then proceeded to ask if he had said what I thought he haid said and he acted surprised and hung up. Now everytime they call they either ask for him and when I say he doesn't work here they hang up or just hang up right away. These people are scum.

They call at least once or twice a day for the last couple of weeks and ask to speak to Lewis Brown, when I tell them their is no one by that name at this number they ask me if I take medication and would I answer a few questions. I say no and please stop calling, then they hang up on me. I finally called their #206-451-5353 and it said I couldn't get the call thru. When I finally got upset enough to call my provider they said never to try and call them back because it is more than likely coming from outside of the US and could result in a hefty long distance charge to me. I called and got the # on the do not call list so I hope the calls stop soon!!!!!

The most annoying phone calls EVER!  I've told them multiple time to remove me from their list, stop calling and even had my 3 yr old answer a phone call.  I'm just annoyed with the the harassing phone calls!  I just picture the TV show "outsourced".

Again, we at 360networks share your frustration and certainly do not appreciate unscrupulous individuals hijacking one of our telephone numbers.  Most telephone service providers have tools available to block specific phone numbers from getting through.  Check with your phone company on what is available.

It is pointless to harrass 360Networks any further, as you can read in this article: http://www.360networks.com/news.aspx?PRID=44 .  They have disconnected and placed this number in quarantine; however whatever company (apparently one in the middle east based on the caller's accents) are "spoofing" this 206.451.5353 number.  When you call it back, depending on what number you call from, it either says your call cannot be completed, or there was an error in dialing.

I've received at least 20 calls from this number since the beginning of the year. I've asked (and demanded) them to stop calling, and have been on the national do-not-call registry for a number of years, yet it doesn't make a difference.  I've tried messing with them (having conversations that keeps them on the line forever), I've tried yelling, I've tried blowing a whistle, I've tried politely asking them to stop - nothing works.  Until someone can figure out who is spoofing this number and stop them from the source, we're going to have to continue being harrassed.
