Got a phone call on my cell which I never give or use that much in the first place. They stated that I filled out some survey with an unknown company looking for a job. I hung up because it was a recored voice and could not really understand the last part of message. But I did blocked the number for harassment reasons.
These people need to stop and leave people alone.

Had this number on my cell phone the other day--no message left. Today I answered, and no one said anything, but got a beep, and then call ended. Almost disappointed I didn't get to tell them they will be reported as a scam!

Received a call from this number today, 01/31/2013 at 3:49pm PST. After a long pause, I was connected with a man who advised me that he was following up on a Wal-Mart gift card survey that I filled out and had marked as being interested in job opportunities. He offered to send me job information about opportunities in my area -- even if I was currently employed, it could help me learn about career advancement -- if I could just verify some information. Of course I had not filled out a survey, have never had a Wal-Mart gift card, and am not interested in "job opportunities." It certainly feels like a scam when someone tries to obtain my personal information with a fabricated premise. Several people have asked about reporting the number. I will be reporting it to the Federal Trade Commission (Google "Reporting Telemarketing Fraud to FTC") and to the WA attorney general.

I received a call from this number late yesterday afternoon saying it was someone following up on a job I was interested in. I hung up as it didn't appear legit.  Ironically I am looking for employment. Glad to have found this site prior to calling this jerk back.

I was called by this number today.... saying I had filled out a survey for Northwest Positions looking for work.... as I have been looking for work and have filled out numerous job online applications and surveys ... I answered his questions.  He said his name was Joseph and asked general questions to "verify" the information I submitted earlier.... education, age, etc.... if I was delinquent in a school loan (no)....then he finally asked me if I would be interested in returning to school?... I said 'no' and he hung up.... this is a scam/ information gathering for one of those local for-profit schools.   I hope I do not start receiving repeated calls and mailings from them.  I have had legitimate survey calls from prospective employers before... but this one is not legit and is a scam.

I got the exact same call and script as you did. The line was so bad I couldn't hear anything past the guy telling me about my recent "interest in new jobs". I asked who he was with and then the line went blank and I hung up. I shouldn't have answered anyways, didn't recognize the number.

Call on cell from a Jason who said he was with ny positions and was responding to an online survey I had completed. This was obviously  Complete bull. I said good bye and hung up.

This number called my cell phone yesterday ( 1-28-13).  Left no message.  I Googled the number and found all the data re it being a scam.  I called 'em back anyway to complain about 'em getting my cell phone number which until now has been safe from scam calls.  The fellow who answered "WN Positions" stated they got my number as a result of me taking part in a job request survey, with a Wal-Mart gift card as the prize for taking part in it.  When I stated I NEVER shop at Wal-Mart and did not take part in any such survey ... he simply said "Thank You" and hung up.  Scam.  No doubt about it.

Just got a call from this number.. 206 -451 - 5432. They claimed they want to followup on the survey I recently filed to verify some info..

they called my cell phone and left a message (same as above - "wm positions" following up on my online interest in a job).  i hadn't been looking, but i called back anyway to see what it was about.  it was all sophisticated auto-reseponse recordings - i tripped it up with an unexpected response, then i hung up and then found this and other sites complaining about them.  they use multiple numbers to appear to be local (or 800, 877) and are no doubt phishing - i hate phishers - crooked, sick, corrupted, low-life parasites

I got the same phone number called my work cell phone, and I got similar information as yours that they asked me to finish my online survey. I told them that I didn't fill any application,and I am not interested in it. However, the caller still kept explain.......

they called me and said i filled out an online jobs survey and didn't call me by my name or anything...i told them to go to take my number off their list or i'll report them...i'm pretty sure they are after information of some sort for a scam
is there a way to report them?

Same complaint - 'you completed an online survey...'  There's no way I gave them my cell # - HANG UP!!!

Got a call from this number this afternoon. I don't answer numbers I don't know, they didn't leave a message, and I didn't call back.. Thanks for all the reports.

Just got a call about five minutes ago from these people...  I don't answer calls I don't recognize, so I waited  until they either did or did not leave a voicemail (no voicemail, btw), and then called the number back.  WN Positions.  I'm a student, and I plan on being a student for at least two more years, so nowhere did I indicate that I was interested in a job.  Scam!

Same 'job opportunities' thing as everyone else. He didn't know where I'd "expressed interest online" but insisted I had. Told the fella I was not a US citizen and it was all over. Easy-peasy!

Just got a call from 206-451-5432 a few hours ago.
They called and said that I took a survey for WN and was interested in some jobs. Then I said 'no? Who are you looking for?" and then they said "Okay Good bye" and hung up. It didn't sound automated in the beginning, but towards the end it did.
I am just curious, do these people have some sort of information about me? Or are they just calling random people. Either way, glad they hung up.

I answered and nobody said anything for a second then a guy came on and said he was conducting a survey about my recent shopping experience at Target?  I haven't shopped at Target for over a year.

This appears to be fake survey SPAM featuring fake happy marketers
offering fake "job opportunities".

A tell-tale long pause at the beginning of the call lets you know that
you're being robo-routed to someone (or something).  You'd think
they could afford less obvious predictive routing.

This may or may not involve live people acting like phishing robots --
I have no idea since I never got that far.  I simply enjoy hanging up
on overly chatty callers I don't know.  :-)

I got a call from this number and I never answer numbers unknown to me. When I called the number back to find out who they were I got a recording about having filled out an online survey about job opportunities. I filled out a survey for the site Fab.com about a recent purchase, but that survey never asked for my phone number. I'm pretty sure it's not Fab.com related, they are a shopping site and have nothing to do with jobs. Weird. Also weird that this same number comes with comments about a random fraudulent bill collector. hmm.

I got a call earlier this afternoon on my smartphone. It is about that survey. I thought I placed my mobile number on the Do-Not-Call list.

I also received a call from this number, moments ago.  I answered, but was greeted with silence.  As I was hanging up, I heard a voice but alas, it was too late.  No one left a voicemail, no one called back.

Date stamp for another "WN Positions calling about recently job survey online...." garbage.

I got a call from this number as well they said i did an online order and applied for a job at wal-mart  when I said no i didn't he was very polite told me have a terrific day.i was suspicious and goggled the number.  BEWARE PEOPLE. i did a reverse look up on the number   it comes from Bainbride Is.washington.the service carrier is called 360networks inc usa seattle, they are a co.that serves fiber optics and other networking infrastructures.

just received a call from this number they said it was a survey,i asked what kind of survey?very long pause then the young man said he was conducting a survey from Wal-Mart about my online order and job application that i had filled out. since I have never done either of these things I told him I didn't know what he was talking about.he asked had I not participated in this again I told him no he then apologized and was very polite then hung up
