Have Cricket and Wells accounts.  I never get legitimate notifications this way, so I automatically thought to check here.  Oh, also the text message that says "Wells Fargo Issue Call 12064560905" showed up on my WIRELESS card# that I use with my laptop (not an actual phone).

I received the same SMS from the same "6245" identity (58886@sms.mycricket.com) about the same time as McKail's posting here.  I have Cricket phone service but no Wells Fargo accounts.  Oddly enough, I have never received any spam SMS on my phone in the 4 years that I've had Cricket service.  However, I updated a call and text blocking application (Mr.Number) a few days ago, which has social media/availability statusing in the newer version.  It's supposed to allow you to let friends, etc., know your availability status, like other social media apps and IM do.  Why anyone would want this feature in a phone app designed to block unwanted calls and text messages is beyond me but I think that's how I ended up with this unsolicited spam/phishing attempt.

they are trying to get me to call them, I have not.

Samething here, message says Wells Fargo Issue Call 1 206 456-0905...from 58886@sms.mycricket.com...sent in a text...

This is one of those fraudulent activity numbers which is attempting to get you to give them your Wells Fargo Credit Card Number.
Report it to the police as criminal activity as soon as possible
