This number called more than once with a weird recording that sounds like a Spanish speaking woman dropped a phone.

This number just called me and said in Spanish:
"Congratulations! You have won a million dollars, push 1 to accept your prize!".  I hung up and called the number back and it said in English: "We called you about an important travel issue, we will call you back shortly". Sad thing is that there are people who are going to fall for this...god only knows what they say or do when you actually push 1.  I was too flustered to push it...probably because I was still translating the Spanish in my head, but I wanted to do it and then chew them out.  That's what I normally do, and ask them all types of really annoying questions, like how long have they been working there, name of company, address, supervisor, etc.  Then they normally get mad and hang up and I get a really good laugh.

They call me 2 times a week annoying annoying..

Calls up sometimes, loud burst of static, then Spanish like above.  Pushed 0 for kicks, hung up.

Call went in as a missed call. My phone didn't even rang. I have a blackberry pearl.

You are right, if you are have registered the number they called on the National Do not call list for 31 days or more  than the company can be fined or  here is the exception even if you are not registered for 31 days or even on the National Do not call list it is illegal to call cellphone however you have to file a complaint on the National Do not call registry website like I mentioned.

Like it reads they file our complaint since individual complaints are not looked at however if more than 100 people report that harassing number than they will look throughly into it.  

I have done my part by reporting it today :)  do the same and pass the word on to those getting the telephone calls to report them to the National Do Not call registry website.

Did you know that it is illegal even if you are not register with the National Do not Call registry to recieve recorded automative messages.

This is the Action I took, I hope the rest of America will do the same.

1.  National Do Not Call Registry (google it)  or  https://www.donotcall.gov/register/reg.aspx  (might work without the .aspx)

2. Click on File A COMPLAINT
  a) read through the steps fill them in
  b) where it reads voluntary (fill it out so that the investigating team sees that the person filing the complaint actually exist)
  c) ask friends or co workers to file a complaint using the National Do NOt call Registry
  d) If more than 100 people complain  on the 206-462-1792 harassing calls than the investiagtive team will look into it and they will put a stop to it by fining that individual or company a fine for every call they make afterwards

  However, it takes citizens like you and me to put a stop to.  Make sure you take down the time the machine called you and the date.  Make sure you give a statement explain how many calls you get a month, mention the word "harass" in it .

I continue to receive a call from the 206-462-1792 number.  Like many of you sid it is an automative machine with a girl speaking claiming I won something

Here is what you do  
1. Do not call the number back or answer it (if you do it informs the company or individual that that cell number really exist)

2.  go under  National do  not call registry (google it) or visit www.donotcall.gov/register/reg.aspx  (might have to drop the .aspx if it does not work

3.  Click on file a complaint : it is illegal to have automative answering machines call you even if you are not register

4. If you and the rest of us who are getting 3-8 calls per month from this number file a complaint they will look into it, they fine the number $500 for every call they make

I got a call from this person, too. But I was in my 7th period class(im only in middle school)and this person called me. I got my teacher to sign a restroom pass so that i could see who it was. Had no clue at all, so I searched it on Google tring to find out who this guy was. Didn't get very much luck... but I've gone on website after website. They all say that he is spanish and has a thing for prank calling. I'm real annoyed.

These a_swipes have called my cell phone before and would call once a week every week.  Finally got to talk to some guy telemarketing some stupid travel plan.  Chewed him out to not call me again.  That was 6 months ago.  Called me again today - didn't answer since I did not recognize the number.  I'm on the do-not-call list!!  Aren't these a_sswipes breaking the law???  No message left - my cell tells me that the call was aborted by the caller.

missed this time, but I also got the spanish recording last time they called.

Periodic calls to my cellphone number, burst of static, then some Spanish.  Hit "0" for an operator, other end hung up.

called me this morning at 9:30 while I was at work. Missed it. I have a google voice # that forwards to my cell, so it's possible it was a telemarketer calling that.

Calls daily to our main company line..call is in Spanish.

Hung up when I answered

Recorded Spanish.  Hung up.
