Called to reduce my merchant account fees.  Called me a "loser" for not wanting to sign up with her.

Got several calls in a row from this number, each time asking for a different person.  The caller had a heavy accent and had trouble pronouncing the names.  I called the number to see what company it was and got a recording that the number was disconnected and no longer in service.  Sounds like they've spoofed the caller ID and are phishing for whatever.  I've added it to my "do not answer" list.

I think this company has a new tactic. I received a voicemail message that was really scratchy and almost incomprehensible. A female voice addressed me by name at the beginning, and after that I only got bits and pieces. Of course, I thought that someone was trying to reach me personally and had a bad connection. I almost returned the call, but Googled it instead and found this page. Sure glad that I didn't waste my time.

We receive several calls from this number daily and when I asked who was calling, they said DMS, Direct Mailing Service, located in Queensland, Australia.  Then he disconnected.

I answered the phone and a male voice (American accent) asked to speak with the person in charge of our Integra service. (We do use Integra, so I thought it might be a CenturyLink sales call. Nope.) I said that the folks in charge of that aren't yet in the office and asked who was calling. The line went quiet.  Interestingly, they called around 9:10 in the morning.

My impression of the voice was that it was a recording. The guy sounded like a voice actor, very low and distinctive voice. Maybe a live person would have come onto the line if I had actually transferred the call? Creepy, in so many ways.

"Lower your interest rate..." recording. This is a fake company, CID listed as BODYSHOPDIGITAL.

caller called, said was from Portfolio investment company.

This call came in as BodyShopDigital.

The voice message was about lowering CC interest rate. Press 1 to speak to a live operator. Press 2 to be removed from calling list. I pressed 2. Got music on hold and then an operator!

"Ryan" asked me what I was paying in interest. I told him I pressed 2. He swore under his breath and hung up the phone.

Got a call from this number. The story goes that this company (ID on CID was Body Shop Digital) is verifying certain information so they can deliver an $11 million check that's being held by the IRS for taxes due.  They confirm your address, ask if you're married, single or divorced and if you're over 65 (no doubt to prey on the elderly and alone). I refused to answer these questions, yet that still seemed to pass the screening because they went on to say they were coming over with the check and would accompany me to the bank in order to cash the check.  Long story short, I told them I'd call the police if they showed up on my doorstep, they called me some nasty names and hung up..
