Automated woman's voice indicating last chance..reduce credit card rate to 6%. Hung up at this point. It's a generic message, doesn't even indicate a specific credit card.

this called came for my kid - said they needed him to pay his student loans NOW, and was going to give me the address to send it too, so he would not get in trouble with the loan dept.... what a scam

These people need to be arrested for trying to get people to send them money.  SallyMae will be informed.

I have there number now forwarded to Federal Fraud  person - hope they catch them before people fall for their scam

not an expert and don't know this number, but i have a feeling this person / business just wants to see if there IS an answer, then they can sell the number to telemarketers as a REAL WORKING NUMBER

Think about it, what a waste of time.  If you have been reading the comments, the calls don't seem to get through.

If call is answered, no one says anything.  What a waste.  The caller would be doing more good by picking up trash at freeway edge or something else.

I did not get to the call in time and and they did not leave a message.  Obviously, it is a harrassing caller.

Just got a call from these guys to my cell. I sent them straight to voicemail, where they left a message about debt owed to my credit card, and that the call was the "last courtesy call" I would receive before they attempt to collect more than $1,000 I owe to them.
The message seemed chopped in half and I think I got only the last half saved to my voicemail.
Looked on some other websites and I'm certain this is a hoax to gain personal credit card information. Don't call them back.

Called my work cell and a guy siad Hi and nothing else.  Hung up on him after he didn't answer me .

Also called my cell on 11/14. He said hello then hung up. Also showed as Seattle, WA.

Same exact thing happened to me just a few minutes ago, which happened to Heather, who'd posted:

Reading this made me laugh because I was listening to the voice message the woman left, saying the exact same thing. "Sarah Ellis," was the name she left.

Definite Telemarketer, there.

I received a call too, nothing but dead air. Odd.

Called my cell. I answered. Man said hell and then hung up. I called back and an automated message came on. Said was a marketing firm and gave me the option to have my number removed from the list.

Number keeps calling me, I never answer and never get a voicemail

Yea... This person called me while I was in school. Thank god it was at lunch and no one could hear it ring. The guy could've gotten me in trouble-big time. He calls back, let's say he's going to get a "warm welcome" when I pick up. That's if he doesn't say, "Hello" and hang up.

I didn't answer. "She" left a message about lowering interest rates, saying we'd spoken last week.

Same here. Got a call at 4:29PM. Said hello then nothing after that.

called my home phone and said hello then hung up, CREEPY!!!!

Called about 4:10PM EST on my cell. I didn't answer, they didn't leave a message.

called my cell, said i had been selected as a winner of a home security system. i hung up.

Just called 4:19PM EST.
Answered, no answer. Dead air.
Disconnected call.
Called back.
Message advised "You have received this call from a commerical company. To be removed from this companies directory, please press '1'."
I pressed '1.' They said I would be removed within 24 hours. Annoying.

I got the same exact message they said something about a credit card which I dont have ughhh I hate stupid telemarketers :P
