I personally enjoy deafening the asshats who are on the other end of the line.  I would not normally do that to someone just trying to make a living even if it is a scummy, but hey they chose this job so be prepared Rachel and friends better turn your sound down.  Maybe if everyone did this they would stop.  I say we all shriek, use an airhorn, really loud whistle anything. Just don't give them any notice or maybe ask them a question and when they start to answer let them have it.  Oh yeah and I put in a complaint with the FCC but this is much more satisfying!!!!!  FIGHT BACK  !!!!!!!

Civil action by the FTC against such criminals is totally ineffective. All of those involved know that they are violating FTC regulations. The FTC prohibits unsolicited calls for any kind of debt / interest rate reductions which require up front fees, period, and that is what these robo calls are about. The FTC civil actions have been nothing more than whack-a-mole interference. Which is why numerous individuals are the subject of repeated actions, despite signing prior agreements that prohibit future involvement. The FTC levies huge fines, then rescinds them based on inability to pay. The FTC settles for the minimal cash on hand, and enjoins them from future "telemarketing". The criminals sign off, then go right back to business. The entire operations are clearly criminal, intent to defraud, etc, and should be dealt with in criminal court and not by civil actions.

The banking system is also at fault here, without merchant accounts and ACH processing these criminals could not collect the scammed funds. Though the criminals use obfuscation, layered corporations, multiple bank accounts and offshore stashing, patterns of obvious fraudulent activity become apparent after a short time.

If you donate to any charity during the calendar year, especially if it is over the phone, you can go on a list which they then sell to other companies/calling agencies.

Also, I spoke with Verizon when these jerks called me for the 10th time and they recommended NOT answering and NOT pressing 1 as it verifies your number.

What I would do is report these folks to the FCC as often as possible.

Finally looked up info to submit complaint about this company, which has been calling us frequently for months with a message about it being "our last chance to lower our interest rates."  Like others here, when I ask to be removed from their calling list, they hang up on me every time.  Filed complaint with FCC -- thanks to whoever posted the link to that site here.  Much appreciated.

This is a phishing scam, no credit card /bank will contact you over the telephone to amend the credit agreement you have with them. This would only be done at a local branch or through the mail (not e-mail) where  you receive documentation to read and agree to or refuse, and then sign or call to confirm. The obvious example is the "Change in Privacy Notice" you receive in your statement now and then, if they do this with a document this simple they will certainly do any modifications to credit agreement the same way! Financial Center? Whose finances?

Well, it's our old friends at "Financial Services" again peddling their same-old-same-old credit card scam today on my land line.

I would dearly love to be on the jury which performs the public 'service' of wiping out the finances of these harassing fraudsters, redistributing their assets to their victims (US!) and sending them to prison for the rest of their born days.

Forget complaining to the DoNotCall list losers at FTC at this late date. If the feds haven't done anything to protect us from these crooks by now - after almost a solid year of complaining by everyone I know -  they won't ever do it.

We need to join a class action lawsuit & turn the Trial Lawyers of America on these creeps. Restitution & recompense for pain & suffering is what I'm after now.

These losers keep calling in spite of me asking them not to and in spite of my phone number being in the do not call registry. Tonight, I asked them again to remove my number and the schmuck actually said no! Flat out refused, then hung up.

Telemarketing is an industry that should be destroyed, with extreme prejudice. Telemarketers are scumbags and scofflaws. Were they to be put out of business, lose their jobs, their houses, their cars, their families, and end up cold and hungry in the gutter, I would take great delight in seeing them run over by buses, dump trucks, trolley cars, etc.

I have received 6 of these "final calls" about my Credit. Each time I have pressed 1 to talk to a representative to tell them to place me on DNC and they always hang up before I can get the 5th word out. I did call back and press 1 to not be called back, then made a complaint with FCC. I recommend everyone do the same. I am sick of these harassing calls from these pathetic companies just trying to steal money from people with REAL jobs.

If you want information on this scam and the people behind it I recommend checking out this website:
 http://onthespotblog.com/the-hunt-for-rachel-at-cardholder-services/

The players we know that are now involved, including names and cities are:
Ambrosia Web Design LLC, Chris Ambrosia, Mesa, Arizona
American Debt Negotiators, Ran David Barnea, Boca Raton, Florida
Associated Accounting Specialists Inc., William R. Page, Port Saint Lucie, Florida
Castle Rock Capital Management, Roy M. Cox, Laguna Niguel, California
Concord Financial Advisors LLC, Lee Cestine, Mesa, Arizona
Financial Services Solutions LLC, CEO Unknown, New York, New York
PHL International, Mark Burton, Deerfield Beach, Florida
Premiere Debt Solutions, CEO Unknown, Orlando, Florida
Red Leaf Capital LLC, Leroy Castine, Mesa, Arizona

I have received more than 150 (I have them documented) calls from these scum sucking criminals. I have filed more that 50 complaints with the FTC however due to the fact that they hide behind spoofed numbers I doubt that they will ever stop any of them. They ask for up front fees and charge your credit card without performing any services.

A special thanks to a reply from MGD at dslreports.com which gives great insight as well:

"Some on your list have already been the subject of FTC action, such as Roy M. Cox of Castle Rock Capital Management. Not surprisingly, many are habitual repeat offenders, and are the subject of multiple FTC actions. FTC action is grossly inadequate in these cases. The millions of unsolicited "Heather" "Rachel" et all, Card Services robo calls will not begin to subside until these criminals are charged with Federal Felonies, are convicted and subjected to significant jail time.

Though the criminals use obfuscation, layered corporations, multiple bank accounts and offshore stashing, patterns of obvious fraudulent activity become apparent after a short time.

If you are interested in obtaining useful tracking information on the callers, I suggest another angle in the conversations. Act very interested in the rate reduction scam, as you have multiple high interest cards with large balances. Tell them that you don't give out card numbers in response to unsolicited calls. However, tell them that if they provide you with a verifiable number that you will then call them back and provide the info.

Since many of the operatives work on commission they will provide direct contact numbers if they believe you are serious about completing the deal. Verified return phone numbers are an excellent tool in tracking the people behind the operations.

Many of the inbound robo call numbers are spoofed, as most of the bolierhouses, both off and on shore, are using Voip SIP Trunks services. Throwaway DID numbers are also used. Some of the robocalling is operated by the end use scammers directly. Others are contract services who earn a referral fee once you are transferred to the scammers.

In a follow up post I will document one group associated with the Rachel "Card Services" and the pond scum, including a lawyer behind one of the operations. Follow the money ..... track the recipients ... and take a close look at the processors and banks involved."

I say the best thing is to totally ignore them---don't answer, just disconnect the phone, it only encourages them---lawyers probably aren't going to find them anyway.  Go online and complain to your Senators and Represantive, and the Federal Comm. Comm.

These asshats use various numbers for their scams.  This number (206-496-0935, the most aggressive).  They're national scammers...check all of their called from numbers and know these are the same bags o' douches:

503-390-8731

503-457-1085

503-902-8479

503-586-1033

406-219-2301

727-260-5510

253-382-9909

Always the same m.o. - numerous calls which usually stop on the 3rd ring.  No one on the line and no message is ever left.

What concerns me is that there is such a glut of these blowhards, the FCC, DNC Lists, etc. can't keep up with them.  They'll go from one originating phone number to another, occasionally fooling us into answering the phone.

Too bad my "Selected Call Rejection Service" only allows 12 phone numbers to be blocked.  Hey credit card turds:  "Be-low me!"

Have been getting these calls everyday.  It is making me mad as hell, but I can't do anything about it.  I see from the other posts that trying to talk them is fruitless.  There should be a way to stop this kind of harassment.  Does anyone know of a way to report and stop it.  The DNC registry obviously is just another gov. failure.  I do not answer any 800 numbers or ones with Unknown Name/Unknown number.
