Ind Sur Group has been calling me several times a day and I'm on a do not call list.
Would like them stopped.

Have had two calls from this number, answered the first and it was a robo "survey" call so I hung up.  Had a second call a week later and I found it in the missed call area of my cell phone.

They may be related to 425 390 8919 which is also in the Seattle area and which calls my cell number.

I'm on the no call list for my land line, and believe cell phones are exempt from cold calls.  My cell plan charges me for each call, incoming or outgoing.

Stop them if you can.

To anyone getting those annoying calls that show as IND SUR GROUP ... remember that this is a political election year so even if your phone# is listed on the DO NOT CALL registry the rules don't apply to companies like this.

If you go to google and search for Independent Survey Group and once on the site click on the REMOVAL tab you can put your phone # in and it should remove you from their list. I am not promising anything and it won't stop other companies and won't help if they are using other company names but at least you don't feel powerless that you cannot do anything to stop them. FYI they have started calling cell phones as well so be sure to put in all the phone #'s you want to block them from calling. Short of this the only way to stop this is if enough people start raising hell and can get some local focus to put a stop to this practice!!!

Someone rang me from this number, the day after my house was broken into.  I wondered if they were checking to see if I was at home.  I wasn't.  The answering machine only had a loud screech on it before they hung up.  I did *69 to see who'd called me.

I AGREE,   NO ONE IS STOPPING THEM FROM OPERATING-SOMEHOW, SOMEWAY WE HAVE TO PUT A END TO THIS KIND OF HARRASSMENT!

They're calling my house on average 2-5 times a day, currently.

So far these are the numbers this supposed "Independent Survey Group" is calling from.  I have a caller ID box that allows me to block them, but they keep changing the number they are calling from, so I guess I'll just have to block them continuously (my box holds 500+ numbers so I'm assuming they don't have that many extensions).   I'm tempted to answer one day and if a live person answers to give them a taste of an air horn.

Just received a call, 4th one in 11 days.  This is a business cell and have it on the do not call list as well.  I am beginning to think that the do not call list is a farce.

Did not your Mother tell you that there is no FREE Lunch!!!  These are off-shore scammers!!! Block the number from your phones and report them!!!

I'm on the do not call list too. Doesn't seem to matter. This number and 206-496-0953 both call my cell and wifes. This Washington outfit calls several time a week. Haven't found a way to block them.

I received many calls from that number also. DEMs campaign ... robot calls.

Just received two more phone calls from this number----One on Saturday and now again on Monday.   They wouldn't say anything today.   Saturday it was the survey scam.   I HAVE AND AM GOING TO REPORT (WITH A VOICE COMPLAINT) them to the DO NOT CALL LIST PEOPLE.   3 calls and they are suppose to be fined.   IT SURE TOOK CARE OF ADT.     THEY KEPT CALLING AND I DID THAT TO THEM AND THEY HAVE NOT CALLED BACK.

Yea - they've called my number twice, but I'm like you guys - I won't answer unless I recognize the number (I have most of my friends on Caller ID!) Glad to see that y'all know who it is - and what an absolutely silly scam - cruise for a short political survey!!  Just don't press any keys - I have heard of folks being charged unrealistic prices cuz they had done that with another scam!!  Thanks for the info!

Uh, actually they're not.  It's a cruise ship scam under the guise of a political call.  That's how they're trying to skirt the DNC law.

correction: the indicated company on the search is "Pacific Telecom Communications Group" not "Pacific Telecommunications Group".

please -  before posting make sure your info is correct. i've conducted my own search and it seems that 206-496-0950 is owned by Pacific Telecommunications Group - not Pacific Communications Group. The company listed here PCGCampbell or Pacific Communications Group - aren't the ones placing these calls.

They sneak around the donotcall registry rules....  Surveyors are EXEMPT from the rules!!!   Does not good to report to FCC, as they claim to be survey takers.

Robo Sarah calls my cell number and my voip phone.  She offers a free cruise for a 30 second survey about the bad state of politics in this election year.  Other people have said that it is a ploy to sell you a cruise.  

I have a lot more than 10 numbers from these people.  But to keep it simple, these are the area codes that they are using (not all of them are in Oregon:

Nothing is going to stop these scammers and all we can do is block them.  DNC does not work when they are robo dialing all possible random numbers. The authorities can not or will not help either.

So, just block them, don't answer unknown calls, and continue using this great site for information to be in control of your own home and cell phone calls.  If it turns out that you did not answer a call from someone you know (number not on this site), just call them back.  No problem.  Its alot of work that I do (checking the number on this web site, blocking the caller, and making my own excel spreadsheet of numbers) but at least I FEEL like I have a little control of the situation. Maybe I'm delusional.

I do not want calls from this number.  It is obviously some scam.

I remove myself from this call list almost on a daily basis.  I HATE it!!!!  It is a different 206 number every day and they never remove me.  I don't even know how they got my number.

Ditto on all the above.  I have a general policy against robocalls. If I don't recognize the caller ID and there is a pause when I pick up and say Hello (never say YES as that can be recorded and taken as permission to do gkw), I just assum it is phonespam and hang up.

On 6/8/2012, a call came from this number to my cell. I didn't recognize the number and didn't answer. No voice message left by the caller. Started research today and really love this site. Thanks everyone for contributing. I will block this number, too!
