This is an insurance scam. I have told them to stop calling me but they keeping calling

Male do***e bag calling saying there is a problem with my computer.  Represents himself from Microsoft.  Totally false as one can read on this thread.  BEWARE!  Can you spell S-C-A-M ?

Got a call saying they want to get in on my computer to  clean it up

I have received two calls from this number over the last two weeks.  They disconnected after I asked for their extension with Windows so that I could call them back on Windows 800 Number.

I have just receive severals phone calls(8) in past two days from someone claiming to be from Microsoft who says that I have a virus which is sending information from my computer. The callers warms that if the problems is not solved, the computer will become unusable and than offers to repair the problem.

Got a call 1/23/2014, saying he needed to remote access my computer to avoid a computer crash.  He seemed to have an East Indian accent.  He was very confusing and implied he was from Microsoft by using a lot of technical jargon.   I asked him was this about an app I had called a certain company about.  He said yes.  I said if he had my account #.  He said he did not..  I told him to verify if he was with the software company by giving me my ID #.  He told me my computer would crash if I didn't give him access to my computer.I hung up..

Keep getting calls from this number or 206-555-0110.  When I block the number, it just comes up with another such as 206-555-0114.  

no one on the calling end. called number back and cannot receive calls

What I want to know is why there is no one in our government who can prosecute this stuff. I received a call too just now.

I received a call from this number today and I was on to them right away. I tried to scare them by saying we know who you are and they were in big trouble. Then after I hung up he called again. I picked up but did not say anything......just listened and he finally said " something is wrong here you fu.etc......he swore into the phone.

I just received a call from this number (206-555-0114) and hung up immediately because ALL  555-01XX are fictitious for use in the movies, TV  etc.  The CI was: Dir Assist   WA.  Most people would be smart enough to know that directory assistance is 555-1212.  Not these idiots!  And why would directory assistance be calling someone anyway??????

Answered the phone with this number displayed.....I would have answered him but he had such a heavy hindu accent, I really couldn't understand a damn word he said. You'd think if your job was talking on the phone you'd speak English.

Same scam as others have had. Indian accent, says he's from Microsoft and my computer is downloading files.

Just call call, no message,its our pals with the accents I'm sure. Can't anyone find out who "sold" this #?? ( Virizon,Sprint,t-mobile,tracphone,) Whoever ????  Beware, smartphone addicts .  

tried the old "I'm from Windows Support, and your computer is sending us messages that it has a serious virus." lolololol. I tell them one of two things. One, either we don't have a computer, we use paper only, or two, and this really ticks them off, I tell them we use an Apple computer, so how could they be getting a Windows message from THAT? That usually gets the phone slammed down in my ear. I'd love to hear them cussing in Pakastani or whatever after i'm done messing with them.

Just had the call and as you all they claim being from miçrosoft but i could hear a lot of noise Behind as kids playing, and I just said I suppose that you are going to tell me that m'y computer si going to crash and she hang up right away. Do not ever do what they say I had that kind of call before and I reportes to the autorités please do the same it is serious they CAN steele all your personnal infos

Some guy called just a few minutes ago 0957 on 13 January 2014 about my computer.  Knowing what he was I hung up on him.

He had a foreign accent of course, possibly India, Pakistan or Indonesia?

Same phone number same call... Pretended to be from Microsoft and told me my computer  had a virus that is connecting to other people. Wanted to know why I have not received any of the emails they have been sending me... hang up after that.

Call came in around 11 am........no answer for about 15 seconds and then automated system said "goodbye".........name said unknown, but showed the above number.........

Heavy Eastern Indian accent wanted to speak to boss lots of static in background. He was getting an attitude with me because I kept asking what he was saying.  Static was really bad. I believe he is trying to Scam. Would no tell me his name or number to call back. Says he was from Merchant Bank.

Seriously?  I have this website as a bookmark so I can get to it quickly.  The extentof the phone call. "Mamam, we are getting messages that you are having problems with your computer, heh?"  "We are getting error messages, OK?"  Then I said "My daughter is a computer programmer, I'll get her to fix it, goodbye," and hung up.  It is sickening these ppl exhist.  Woke me up from a perfectly good nap, too! Scam for sure

I just got a call from 206 555 0114 at 8:15 this morn. , but 6 month ago I got a call, and  I said  my husband is a policeman so  you can talk to him and they hung up.   But they started to call us again, thanks to caller id.  I will never pick up my phone.

Called at 8:30am on Saturday morning, WTH.  Don't theses a******s sleep?  Did not answer.  I don't bother answering my phone any more,  it is either a scammer, telemarketer, or bill collector looking for someone I have never heard of.  Thinking about just cancelling my phone service with BellAliant.  Why am I paying $150 a month to Bell Aliant to be aggravated.  When I called them to see if they could put a block on these numbers that call all the time, they replied the only thing they could do was change my phone number.  They are just as bad, the phone companies should be held accountable for giving these numbers to scammers and thieves and do nothing when you complain about the calls.

Same thing, guy with east indian accent.  I insisted how he got my name and number and then he hung up.
Scam artists. The only thing I can thik of is I just bought a smart TV from samsung and tried downloading software from the samsung website.  It gave driver issues.  Perhaps it was not a Samsung web site.

These Iranian a**les claim to be computer support.  They are trying to get your credit card info people!  BEWARE!  Just tell them you have no computer.  They change telephone numbers about like they change their wives.

At 8:50pm HST on 12/23/13, I received a call from this number. Caller ID was Dir Assist WA. I answered the call and no one was there.

Got a call from these retards saying my computer was sending a lot of warnings to their satellite server.  Haaahaaa!  My computer hasn't been on for a month...idiots.
