DO NOT BE FOOLED!! THIS IS NOT TMOBILE. This IS A SCAM. TMOBILE will NEVER call you to ask you any account information (why would they, they should already have it available ). These scammers however will extract your personal info from you and use it to their benefit in order to steal you SIM card info!
There are a few posts on this sire that tells you that this is not a scam, that it is legit, THESE, i believe, ARE THE SCAMMERS!
I never pick up 1800#s and about 2 weeks ago my online acct was shut down for suspision of fraud by tmobile. After speaking to the fraud team today and got my online account reactivated , i found out that it IS this number that caused them to take precautionary measures and shut down my account. Sure enough, the scammers, called me again twice today.... They somehow know that you've contacted tmobile and use that to trap you in.
I just blocked their # on my iPhone and decided to write this post. Be careful people.... If you don't know it, ignore it. And if it is this number, it is NOT LEGIT, BLOCK IT!

It's T-mobile customer service survey. Which I wouldn't mind taking if they identified themselves from tmobile in caller ID or if I was told I'd be receiving a survey. Just thought it was a tellemarketer. I think it's important to give good feedback on customer service. FYI if you call back this number they provide another 1800 opt out number if you don't want them to call you in the future after you contact tmobile customer service.

I received a call from this number warning about my computer and what sounded like an indian gentleman wanted to me to allow him get into my computer so that he could fix all the malfunctions there in. I actually fell for it. He then asked me to pay $99.00 (discounted) so that he could fix this problem for me for a period of one year. he asked to transmit the funds through Western Union. That's when I woke up and said I would think about it. Later and since then have been sending me messages to fix the computer at another discounted price of $9.90.
It so happened that I had just transferred my telephone from AT&T to T Mobile. I had used my personal computer to fill in the details of my t mobile account. Today they called me again on my cell phone asking for my full address, on the pretense that they have some medical devise to send to me. I did recognize the same indian voice. I said no thanks and hang up on them.
how can we stop these people?

Shortly after completing a service call to T-mobile today, using my landline phone, I received two phone calls, a few hours apart, from 206-582-7945, to my cell phone. Yes, the customer service rep had the info regarding the last four of the primary SS#. I didn't answer either of the subsequent calls: I just looked online to find out about the source of the calls. If it turned out to be a scam as described in other posts, I'd promptly contact T-mobile and expect them to credit my account for any charges related to any and all scam calls caused by my initial service call to them. After receiving excellent assistance today for my cellphone matter, I'm sure that T-Mobile has the capability to sort through everything done on their cell phones/towers and resolve any problems to the customer's satisfaction.

I got multiple calls today but did not answer. Then out here I see it belongs to T-Mobile. I did make some changes yesterday, so maybe it is a legitimate call.

Got call just a few minutes ago. Updated my tmobile acct yesterday. Answered cuz i have friends in Seattle thinking they had chaned their # but nobody so i blocked it. All of your comments here are very helpful. Thanks!

Better than blocking individual number from you phone, Trend Micro Mobile Security has the ability to permit only "whitelisted" numbers. EVERYHTING else is automatically blocked. No, I'm not promoting any brand name. It just works. At the end of any given week, I have upsards of 50-70 blocked calls (all unwanted, unsolicited junk) and maybe 10 calls from family and coworkers.

I got this call twice, 2 hours apart. I called mobile and as first told to answer the phone and if it's tmobile they won't ask for any personal information. I said no way! Then after I have her this number and said it started with a +1, she said tmobile would only call once, not again in 2 hours. She checked and there is no way for them to verify whether this number is their survey contractor or not. I'm not going to confirm that I have an active cell # to a scammer. So my opinion, since tmobile cannot confirm it's their subcontractor, they won't call more than once with a survey...I added to my reject list and will never answer this #.

Yes, this has been T-Mobile in my experience too. I did speak with them, however, when I rcv'd both a text and a note while holding for a representative asking IF I would be INTERESTED in participating in a BRIEF survey re my ca with T-Mobile today, problem is even when I specifically say NO ... (sometimesIdo, sometimes I just don't want to take the time) they call REGARDLESS! That's what irritates me! Why ask if you're just gonna do what you want anyway?! And with a HUGE company like T-Mobile when you're calling T-Mobile CUSTOMERS why go private? Why not LIST YOUR COMPANY NAME !? Why 'hiding'?! And ONCE is more than enough, thank you. especially whrn I said NO!

It is a scam to get basic info on your account. Sim cards can then be changed to their phone if they have just minimal information about you (Name, City, phone#) And if they get just the last 4 of you social it can and will open numerous other fraud possibilities. It is fraud and a common scam to T-Mobile customers. This is per the T-Mobil security and risk assessment department. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!

I am also a T-Mobile customer, and called them yesterday.
HEY TMOBILE GUESS WHAT - YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE... ISNT
Same as everyone else - I don't answer unknown numbers. They call and don't leave a message. Rude.
