Not likely true. 206 area code is a highly-populated area of Washington state. I've started receiving these calls from a 253 number - also a highly populated area of Washington state. Not a small town. I simply asked who I could call at AT&T for verification of this deal. They told me I had to call billing and talk to someone in upper management because they are the only folks knowledgable about the deal. And then they hung up.

Hey, 'B', why don't you give your real name. We don't want to hear any whining about needing a job. Your company is a scam and you know it. 'Crystal' called me and LIED saying my monthly service charge would be reduced. Her 'supervisor', 'Courtney', also lied. (I'm sre those aren't their real names.) I called ATT and they said there would be no reduction in charges. If the only way you can make a living in your little town is dishonestly, you should move.
Yeah, you "do what we can", you SCAM people. You are disgusting!

These people at 206-629-8664 and 8665 are a real problem, they call and tell you they want to talk to the person who handles your at&t account and then they pretend to be at&t.
| fred 2008-06-05 19:48:16 Unknown |
then why do you call and hang up?

i work for this company, C tel, and im sorry these calles offend anyone. we're just doing our job. we live in a very small town where alot of the factories have packed up and moved to Mexico. We still have to make our house payments and take care of our kids, just like any one else. So think about that b 4 you talk nasty, if your not interested your not interested, just say so. or better yet ask to be put on the do not call list and then we will never contact u again. Just know that we have to do what we can, we're working just the same as everyone else!!!!!

I received a telephone message from these clowns (very sick). The call back number on my caller ID was: 206-629-8664 (in Seattle, Washington. When I called the number I received a voice message for a "CTEL" company.

I've got a good way to get back at some of these annoying callers. I consider their interuptions offensive, so I give them something offensive.
I've started using extremely profane language to them & normally finish with the sentence "Get a real job". You have to be quick though, cause they hang up pretty fast.

Stated that they were with Preferred Long Distance and needed to update our account by the end of the month. Told them I wanted to stay with our carrier and she said we would still stay with our carrier they were just going to save us money. Told her I had talked with our carrier and they did not do business with Preferred Long Distance. She wanted the name of the person I talked to because they were going to have to get the miscommunication corrected. I wouldn't give her any deals and thanked her for calling.
