left recorded msg that they are a verification company and will call bacl

I just received a call from this number. I never answer unrecognized numbers, and let it go staight to voicemail. Well they didn't leave a message, and I called it back on my work phone, and it said something about Omni. It's disturbing that these people can get your number, and call you and harass you like that. DO NOT CALL LIST HERE I COME!!!!!!!

get alot of calls from this number and never any message.

I had this # on the caller ID today & I think it is a bill collector who calls and asks you to deliver a message to a neighbor. We have no credit problems and oerhaps our neighbor does but I am not going to deliver a message for any bill collector. I could get a job any day collecting but I don't want any part of that buisness. I am sure not going to do their work and I think it is illegal for them to call and ask people to do such!

i recieved a phone call from this company sayin that they were from allstate motor club and that they could provide roadside assistant to me for $1 a month for the first two months and like $14 every month after and that they are better than AAA. I have to admit they had my attention but when i said can you send me the information in the mail and i can fill out the proper paperwork that way she said she must confirm somethings and that i would only have to pay a dollar today and i refused and said i didnt feel comfortable givin out my info over the phone she said ok have a nice! THIS NUMBER IS A SCAM!!!!! BEWARE!!!!!

Called cell phone 3 times in the last two days. First two times no message. Third time they left a message saying our newspaper subscription was running out and to call. We do not have a newspaper subscription. Our credit is also in good standing so it can't be that but I read on another site that bill collectors will call anyone they can find that has any contact with the person they are searching for... they will call neighbors, coworkers, relatives, family, friends... as long as there is even some remote connection they will call and harass the person who answers looking for a lead. It could be someone else they are looking for and you were just the person they could find and from whom they think might get a lead. One bill collector I talked to a while back said we were probably getting called because our house had multiple owners over the last 20 years or so so we are getting calls tied to some previous owner.

Called for the first time tonight. Did not leave a message. I am on the Do Not Call List. I will file a lawsuit if they keep calling.

They just started calling last week. 4 calls already.  Today left a message saying it was a call for verification, would call back later. Caller id said Verification FR. I suppose whoever "they" are, have found a way to get around the Do Not Call Registry.

got a call on 6-22 @ 9:48am. Called ID said Verification FR . When I answered the phone it was silence on the line. I hung up and googled the number and got this info about it being scam or fraud.

I got the same call this morning.  When I called it back (the only reason I called it back is that I am dealing with a company that is doing a background check on me for a job, and I thought it might be them) I got the same recording that if I want my number removed from their calling list I needed to enter my number, then verify my nunmer, but it never said anything about removing it within two days....just deaqd silence....

they do call alot you.but it was about the news paper when we picked up.

I've been getting 1 to 2 calls a day for about a week from this number.  Sometimes they leave a message and sometimes they don't.  When I do get a message it's a prerecorded message that says "Thank You".  Getting annoying.

Got a call from this number today, when I picked up, they hung-up on me.

THE NAME ON MY CALLER ID WAS LISTED AS VERIFICATION FR.  NO MESSAGES - I WON'T ANSWER WHEN THEY CALL - PLEASE MAKE THEM STOP!!!!!!!!!!

have called me two times about a week apart.  No message.  Called number back and recording says to enter your number to have it removed.  Asks to confirm the number entered then message says my phone number will be removed within two business days.

This was my cell phone so no name to go with it.

206-629-8671 - 866-742-7471 - 888-8088  Get calls from all of them. On our home phone and our 2 cell phones. Never have talked to them, if we answer there's no one there. We get calls from 'another' collection agency too. Thing is, we don't have any overdue bills! Never give any of these callers AnY InFo.

I have been receiving calls twice a day for the past week on my cell phone from this number (206-629-8671).  They never leave a message and I won't answer it.

no message left....but I am on the Do Not Call List

I received two calls from this number, 1 at 6:30pm at 1 at9:20am.  The second time there was a voicemail, it was a recording saying it was a service verfication and they would call back.  I tried to call the number back and just got dead air.  I'm actually hoping they call back again, just so I can mess with them!

I googled first--and now I'm going to contact the do not call registry. I urge everyone above to register with it. (www.donotcall.gov or similar--if you google those words, you'll get it) Then, if you report the calls after signing up NOT to get phone solicitation, this gov't agency will go after them. And it has worked for persistent numbers in the past.

I get calls from this number on a daily basis -- I don't have an answering machine so obviously no message.  I don't answer when they call.

Left a messagesaying that they would call back later....good luck with anyone answering I might add!!I don't pick up on numbers that I don't know what they are wanting!!

Hi I received a call today add this number (206)629-8671  and nobody was attending the ph beside the automated system said that your number will be deleted from our system by on to two business days. an di do beleive its a scam

Same experiences as above. 3 calls in two days. No message. As someone else mentioned, I will not answer callers I do not know. But maybe the phone company trace or answering and asking to be deleted from the list is a way to stop the harrassment.

Im glad Im not alone in this. I just called the number back, and cussed them out  (left a msg of warning). Hey out there. You can call your local phone company, and they will put a tracer on your line to trap them, and if possible press charges. Your phone company does this free of charge, as long as you tell them they are harassing you, and leaving anoying messages.

I have been getting calls from this number too; they left a message once but it must be automated because all I hear on the voicemail is "...thank you!". After reading, I don't think I will be calling back!

I have received three calls where they left no message. On the fourth call, I answered. There was dead air for a moment, and when the woman tried to determine if someone was on the line, I immediately said, "Please take me off of this list." She replied. "Yes, ma'am." We'll see what happens.

Call was made to my phone. No message was left.
