Recently switched to Allstate for my insurance carrier. This number is the Allstate Motor Club. I spoke to my insurance agent who informs me that this is "something from corporate" but volunteered to put my number on a do-not-call list. Hopefull this will resolve the issue.

OOOH I get it, I've gotten this call before. Allstate Motor Club. I've been getting the same no message phone call for weeks. They are REALLY annoying and persistent. They are trying to get everyone on this thing cause its only like a few dollars a month. So annoying. I had it for a year or so and never used it so i canceled and now Allstate calls me all the time trying to get that money back.

Calls my work phone no message
Stacey 2011-06-06 20:42:17 Unknown
Keeps calling my work number, not leaving a message. When I try to call it back - just the fast beeping, like invalid line (not same as busy signal). At least two calls a day.
Former Allstate Rep 2011-01-31 05:44:22 Unknown
I used to work at a compony that did provide the offer that is listed above it is a legit offer it is just sold thru a third party vendor. It is a really good offer and I believe alot of people would be happy with it if they would take the trial offer. Allstate as a 92% customer satisfaction rate while AAA has a 72% and thats a big thing considering AAA is our number 1 competitor. The reason that i am a former rep is because alot of people do think its a scam, which is understandable because we do ask for a credit card number over the phone, however if you do not want to recieve the calls please just politly say put me on your do not call list then they will tell you that the proccess will be completed in thirty days so that way you can be removed from all of the lists. Like i said its a third party vendor so its just a company that hires people to sell it for allstate, they dont have acces to your records with allstate and they are just people trying to make a living and i will be the first to admit that it is not an easy job, i could not deal with the stress of people yelling at me over the phone. I have actually had one person tell me that they were going to find me and my family and make sure we die very slow painfull deaths, thats ridiculous, and i do relize the calls can be very annoying trust me i get them myself just because i work for them but its our job to keep calling back because if we dont then we get fired but if you do recieve the call and you dont want to just ask to be put on the do not call list however its a great plan and you can always listen to what they have to say before hanging up or even take the two month offer because you can always cancle with no contracts and no other hidden fees or charges its worth two months at least.

got a call from 206-629-8672. disconnected as soon as i answered
Don't Give Any Info 2010-09-15 12:56:52 Unknown
These 206-629-8672 and 8671 numbers are BOTH scams. I believe they are outbound "call centers" that claim to "represent" various things (insurance companies, newspapers, lotteries, background checks, etc.) to try to get people to reveal personal information.
Don't fall for any of their offers.

Calls from 206-629-8672 are for a SCAM. Don't bother answering. A friend of mine was just a few days ago the victim of identity theft and the scammer tricked him into giving out phone numbers for "references" for an alleged job that never existed. He gave them my #, so now I am on the list circulated among telescammers. Depending on when you answer the 206 #, it'll be for something different (one time for a "sweepstakes", another for an insurance promotion, another for a special prize, etc.). I repeat IT IS A SCAM, don't answer, and if you do, tell the person on the other end of the line that you know what they are about and will report them to the police if they call you again. This may or may not deter them, so best bet is to just not answer. These people are scum who will screw with your life.

I keep getting calls from this number and when I've answered, no one responds. I would like it to stop! They not only call my home, but also my cell number and that is WRONG!
alphaB 2010-07-19 14:00:19 Unknown
I have recently renewed my AARP roadside plan for my RV. This call came in AFTER I ended up reaching India to reinstate my program. My thoughts on this are that #1 it is a SCAM. Why would I be offered roadside asst when I already have it. #2 Since all roadside asst plans are covered by the same insurance co. ( Good Sams, AARP, etc ) my phone number has been sold to a telemarketing firm . My gut says that it's a scam. The offer you coverage , get your cc# and run with it.

I get this call too with another number, maybe its a scam, when you nswer it take personnel infor from your cell phone..anyway i'm with t-mobile prepay and i have the 1 dollar a day since i call only t- mobile..maybe it another way to collect your 1 dollar a day usage because once you answer it the dollar is gone...yea wow what a scam. from your provider..ha b*****d
