this a***ole keeps calling my work and my cell phone...so you know what my husband called there a***s back and f****d with them lol

I asked the same question when he called me.  LOL.

This guy is a d***head.  He called me and was very ugly when I kept asking questions.  Please take him down.

Received a call at work and on my cell.  I don't owe anybody any money, nor do I have any idea of how these people got any info on me.  Please stop the calls immediately.

I started getting the calls last week.I knew right away it was a scam.how can money be put in my back acount if I don't have one?anyways they kept calling me leaving me voice mails.so I said fine,two can play that game.I gave the number to a bunch of my friends.so we keep calling them over and over and over.man they get pissed.but we are not done.but I did take steps to protect myself.they had my ss number.how in the hell did they get that?I contacted the real us cash advance.they told they have a case file with the FBI on the these scammers.these people hijacked their web-site.I also got call from a diffrent phone number.but same plot,they say they are with robert shaffer and a**.law firm,so I contacted the law firm.they gets calls all through out the day.people wanting to know why they are being sued?they to told me they have an on going investgation with the FTC with the scammers.so if they call you again.call them back over and over.hell invite you friends over and make a party out of it.like I did,trust me you will get a good laugh out of it.well gonna go.got to call me new found friends back.

I am getting harrassing phone calls and messages from this number.  They are claiming that I am being brought up on charges of check fraud and a whole list of things that I am so unaware of and that I will be hearing from the "courthouse".

When I try to ask them questions about this they get very angry and tell me to f*** myself.

It just really goes to show you just how low people will go to make money.

Some guy named "Roger Brown" with a very heavy indian accent keeps calling my cell phone number and leaving the same kind of messages, that it is "very important that I return his call" if myself or my attorney DO NOT call them back all he can do is "wish me good luck" and he will end the voicemail with "God Bless"

One time when he called a couple of weeks ago, I asked him what the call was in regards to and he stated that I "had taken out a payday loan in April 2011 and that $300 was deposited into my checking account !! I have NEVER had a payday loan and have NO clue how this guy got my number and why he is harassing me!!!

I am fixing to start filing scam reports with my local, state and federal authorities!!!

of course today Labor Day they called me..... my husband immediately called the police since the same info was given to us nothing zero they are a SCAM. so sad this is how people get laughs and money from old folks like the internet scam and letters.  my only question was can you put someone on the phone that speaks English and of course they were insulted.  anyways dont answer and it is related to the payday loans but if you keep good records you have nothing to worry about dont answer the calls......

Same deal here, the jerk called me threatened to have me arrested at my job.  At first I was believed him and thought someone was using my SS#.  I was very upset.  When I asked him questions, such as, When did I receive this loan, What bank account was it deposited in, What he has on file for my address etc.  he would not answer me or told me that he was not there to do my job and that he can't give me that info.  I said I am entitled to a copy of the file of the case against me and he said that he cannot mail it to me because I may "take off with the information", so I told him well why don't you do yours and serve me with the damn papers and for him to go eff himself.  He hung up on me and then another idiot called me back asking me if I knew what I needed to do, that I needed to be at "the court house" in WA the next morning.  I laughed, which seemed to really upset him.  He hung up on me again.  I called my local police dept and filed a report.

I just sent in a online complaint to the Federal Trade Commission! Hopefully it will help....do these people have the power to actually have a lawsuit against you? Is it best to just ignore the calls? I thought about next time they call telling them they have the wrong number! Can they pursue this?

Got a call from this number last night, they left a voicemail saying they were filing a suit against me, told me to call "kevin johnson"....could hardly understand him! He had the last four digits of my social! SCARY!!!

YES I receive the same calls. I live in Dallas. I contacted my local FBI office and they said it is a scam and these people will call your work place, etc. They leave messages talking about you will be arrested, ending with God Bless. When you talk to them, they tell you to fax over your D.L. #, SSN#, address and some kind of payment for a payday loan. They do not even tell you the loan information of the loan company # to contact. They are usuallyc alling in regards to paychecktoday or something like that. I took out a payday loan with them over a year ago. I do not know how they are just now calling..the scam people that is.... The Indian dude that calls me is Matthew.

About three weeks ago I got a call from this same guy with a different number a California number telling me that I and my social security number are under Federal Investigation and I need to call back right away to prevent going to jail. I am a law student and know that everything he said was BS so I called the number back and he answered the phone " Hello" I asked if it was a law office and he said yes but that he didn't recongnize my number and asked me what number I had recieved the call at so I gave him that number and that is what he used to identify me not my name ( RED FLAG) then he asked me to call back in five minutes so he could get my case information together ( another red flag). So i call back in the five minutes and the first thing he says is " do not interupt me while I read your affadavit the says confirm your social security number as XXX-XX-XXXX and he had my entire social, so I said I will not confirm or deny that but go on he says he cannot continue unless I confirm my number so I said why don't you give me your address and I will come to the office to confirm and he gave me an address of 1000 S. 4th San Rafeal California and then told me " God Bless You" as he hurridly tried to hang up and I said are  you the attorney and he said yes I asked are you in the habit of telling people you make these calls to "God Bless You", he said yes and I informed him that I was looking up his law office with the state of California and could not find a record of him or his office and that the address he gave me was to a Bank of America and he just hung up. So now today three weeks later I am getting a call from the same guy different number I am reporting him to my state for practicing law without a license, as well as local authorities for harrasment, and the Feds for fraud. I suggest everybody who is recieving these calls absolutly do not confirm or give information or money to this guy adn report him to anyone and everyone who will listen!

This number just called me and said that my name and ss# has a lawsuit claim against me for some fraudulent activity. WTF these F^@*ing people have a serious problem and how in the hell did they get my ss#!..............

this number keeps calling one of my employees and I tell him that they are not allowed to receive personal phone calls at work.  they keep threatening us when we tell them to stop calling.

called the us attny gen office today, the FBI and numerous other places - people from India, pakistan and nigeria are buying blocks of numbers from the us and are calling us to scam $$ - the fbi said if you are unsure of who is really calling to get their info and call them - they will be able to tell you if it is legit or not. They also told me the next next time i talk to them to give their (the FBI's) phone number - I did just that and gave them the phone number to the us attorneys office - and told them they are representing me - the guy said nice try - i cut him off and proceeded to tell him that i filed a fraud alert on my ssn (since he somehow got the whole number) and that i had filed a police report and reported him to the FTC, homeland security and the us postal inspection office. I told him to remove my name from their list or they were going to be the pones going to federal prison. he hung up on me. hope that was the last phone call I get!

Today I too was called - by a John Markus - he claimed I had taken out a loan in April of 2011 but couldnt give me an exact date. he told me that if I did not pay the $5437.43 or whatever it was today that I would go to prison. He said that I was under a federal investigation for check fraud, theft, and improper use of the computer. He said that option one was to go to jail and that I would take 2 of my friends with me. He said option two was to pay them the full sum now to avoid them filing their lawsuit. He claimed that they had  sent me 5 emails to clear this up and I had ignored them and he was trying to help me not go to jail. I asked him who I supposedly took out a loan from and he said ezcash. I asked how much I supposedly took out and he said between 100 and 500 dollars. I said you dont know how much I took out? he said he didnt have his file with him on my case. later he told me the amount was $300. I asked him if I could speak to his supervisor and that I hoped he spoke better English - he saidd that He was in charge of my case and there was no one else to talk to. I asked him again for his name - then his phone number - he told me it was on my caller id - He told me my name, address, phone numbers, full social security number. He told me I was going to lose my job (I own my own business so unless I fire myself I dont see that happening) he told me I would never be able to get another job, that there was a hold on my ssn, that the federal government was going to take my bank account and I would never be able to get another account. He read some sort of affidavit that I couldnt understand (because of his accent) and what I did hear sounded like a politician talking in circles when asked a direct question.I told him I was going to check my bank account and then call my attorney - he got mad - told me I would regret that and hung up. so, I then found the number for ezcash - called them - seems my poor girl already had one other person call her about this same guy. She was reporting it to her supervisor this time. then i called the police filed a report , called the federal trade commission (877--idtheft), called my local tv station, posted all over facebook, called the credit companies and put a fraud alert on my ssn. and well thats been my monday - still need to call the bank tomorrow and social security office. oh yea - was looking up the number on the net and found that several people had given this guy money - then later they called to make sure it was received only to discover the number was disconnected  - and now they are receiving phone calls again around a year later - insane!!!! They need to be stopped!!!! ps the number he called from was 206 629 9394 - oh yea - i asked him where he was - he said Washington DC... the phone number is out of Washington State!!!

Someone with very bad English left me a voicemail at work and tried my cell also.  the message indicated he was a guy named Frank Smith and the only other words I could make out were attorney and lawsuit and "God Bless"

I am not allowed to take personal calls at work and do not give out my number for personal use so have no idea who this is.

Let me guess Lisa, you work for them?  Whatever!!  They are scam artists. How come they cant provide me with any proof of this "loan" then?  They say its "paperless" So....someone out there will just give me a loan on my word. Yeah right!!

I received a call from this number and he stated that his name was John Marcus and he had a foreign accent, He said that I owed them money from a payday loan, but could not give me specifics on date or amount. Said he was from EZ Money Cash Advance. Told me that if this was not taken care of today and within 45 minutes then he was going to file a suit with my local police department and I would be arrested. FOR OWING a loan? Yeah right! He then told me that he could settle the debt at a discount and all I needed to do was go get a pre paid card from WALMART and call them to activiate the card, so....needless to say, I agreed. Then when he called me back every 15 minutes to see if I was at Walmart yet, I then proceeded to tell him that I was at my attorneys office and I would call him back. Havent heard back from him yet.

They called my office looking for my wife. He asked for her cell number & when I said no he said you dont care about your wife, she will be arrested. His name was Marcus. I tried calling back & the line hangs up.

It the same number, also 2066299394, 5104734958. Same indian accent calling about a payday loan. Will keep harassing you. Will call your work place to get you fired. And then in their message, they wish you good luck.

So I don't hear from you because you did then know living again we wish you good luck and all this is Joseph unfolds on you. Goodbye and God bless you"

This is absolutely annoying, and i guess they think they are dealing with idiots.....unbelievable....

had my lawyer call them, they had no idea of me, and now the calls have started again, so called my lawyer again. *sighs* twice in a row, home phone leave incomprehensible message, then no message, then the same thing with the cell, called back, threatened with cops, prison, yada, yada, they might want to read up on US law, you cant be put in prison for owing a debt. LOL

I just had a second call from this number.  As soon as I told them that I would declare bankruptcy before paying them a cent and that I have worked in third party bad debt collections in the past, amazing thing happened!  They said it was a mistake on their part and hung up the call.  I called back and they said again that it was a mistake.  Idiots!

I just got a call from them telling me, that my attorney or I better call them the minute I get this message.  I call them back and asked for Robert Caldwell (the name he left) his supervisor took the call and told me they were looking for someone else, I tried to explain this Robert guy asked for me by name and I don't know him or whatever he's calling about and the supervisor hung up on me.
