They started calling when I first switched to ATT and still call every day. My mom answered the first time (I'm only 11) and an indian women answered and told them to take us off their list. They continued to call.......

Two calls from this number to my cellphone on the do-not-call list, two days apart, both went to voicemail, no message left, no originator name in Caller ID.
Called the number and asked the Seattle Times to REMOVE me from their call list. "Alex" said he would do that.

Seattle Times... calling me in Florida? I would figure their marketing department would put a restriction on the area codes used to call...

I get a call from this number practically every day and I have DO NOT CALL. What can be done to stop this??????

It is the Seattle Times. Marketing Department. I called back, and the nice man said he could take care of removing my number from the list.

they called me TWICE today. on my cell phone. I didn't answer both times and when I googled the number I found a lot of websites like this one. annoying.
Unknown 2011-06-06 20:42:17 Unknown
These guys keep calling me all the time. My cellphone is on the DO NOT CALL registry, inspite of that they keep calling. Jerks.
Charles Goddly 2011-06-06 20:42:17 Unknown
206-652-6300 called me 4 times in one day...unbelievable. If that number is the seattle times...oh god I HAVE A SUBSCRIPTION TO YOUR NEWSPAPER ALREADY!! STOP CALLING.

Got a call from 206-652-6300. I had no idea who it was until I found this site. I wonder if the Seattle Times is trying to get a hold of me because I work (well for the next couple weeks) for WaMu. ??
Clare 2011-06-06 20:42:17 Unknown
They've been calling me since I canceled my newspaper subscription. I never answer. I wish there was some way to block incoming calls from a specific number...
IamannoyedbySeatteTimes 2011-06-06 20:42:17 Unknown
These idiots keep on calling me these days even though I have DO NOT CALL registry. They are too stupid to understand that the more they are calling the less they will get the subscription from their customers.

T'day I also received a call from this #
Read the paper online 2011-06-06 20:42:17 Unknown
They keep calling me as well. Called them back, the seattle times answered and wanted to sell me the paper! i asked them to put me on the no call list and she said she would. They called me every night for two weeks. I did not answer, and my wife thought somehting fishy was going on. Read the darned paper online or better yet, watch the news!

I have the same problem. This number calls me at least once a day sometimes more on my cell phone and never leaves a message. I have never ordered the Seattle Times and I would never buy it now even if I did want it. I answered it a couple times and told them to take me off the list but I am still getting calls constantly.
DoNotCallMe 2009-04-14 21:31:57 Unknown
Everybody, please put the Seattle Times on your phone's call-block list and then file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. That will teach them a lesson.

Call came in at 2:12pm 4/10/09 ... Not sure how they got my work number since I only give it to those who have a legitimate need for it!! Do they have a frakin' autodialer or something??

Same here. We cancelled our paper over a month ago as we were moving and now they are harassing us at LEAST a few times a day. Whats ironic is we were considering having the paper delivered to our new place, but they've p*ssed us off so bad that theres no way we'll subscribe now. Good marketing strategy, guys! You really won us over!
Jess 2009-03-19 01:56:57 Unknown
I got a call from them and all I heard was I am on the phone, No one responded when I said hi

This is actually a third party collection agency, hired by the Seattle Times, calling to collect unpaid newspaper subscription bills. But beware, they make promises like cutting you a deal on the bill, like adding 4 weeks for free if I pay. Come to find out, the Seattle Times can't honor that promotion. Don't listen to their "deals!" If you have a billing problem, deal with the actual newspaper customer service, not bill collectors.

The first time I received a phone call from these people I nicely told them that I was not interested and to please remove me from their data base

Seattle Times calls an average of THREE times a day. We used to have the Post Intelligencer and recently cut back to weekend only and then just cancelled altogether since they only sporadically managed to deliver us the paper. Since then, the Times has started calling and will not stop and now they have started delivering us a daily paper to our house s$tating that they are free? What?
JJ 2008-12-20 19:29:34 Unknown
Me too. Several times.
cat 2008-12-14 18:27:53 Unknown
They are calling a cell phone number I don't even use much. And I'm not even in that state. Since I rarely use that cell phone number, I don't catch the call, but they keep call it anyway.

This number called my direct work line just now. Must be some sort of auto dialer as my work # is not easily accessible. How annoying!

I got two missed calls in two consecutive days from this number. I didn`t know it was the Seattle Times. I only found out when I called it back

Same story - Seattle Times marketers. When they called today, I asked the rep where he got my cell number from and rather than answering, he asked me if I was a former customer of the Seattle Times. I told him I didn't want the paper and to remove my number and personal information from the database, and in response he asked why - "did we break your window or trash your house or something?" - literally. I said no, please just remove my name and number from your database. Then he hung up on me. Nice.
