So they were Epsilon Travel.  They are using the same number and now calling themselves Design Bureau Corporation.  I'm always leery of anyone contacting me that I didn't send my resume to.  It's sad because I really need a job but the uneasy feeling I got from this "offer" alone was enough for me to ignore and delete.

I got the email today Melanie Rice, as soon as i got the email I started doing research because the old saying if its to good to be true than its not, and I couldnt find nothing on them that they where fake, until i stubbled across this site and thats enough for me,  they are a fraud a couple of things where big,, flashers like the spelling in the email and there website and the other openings on the website dont have info like finacial mangers does and the big one for me was that they said they needed a business owner to have and account to tranfer money to them because an foregin company cant get funds straight from customers and that didnt make sense to me because even if I deposit it for them it still will be from America consumer, so I tell all of you if they send you money deposit it and dont send it wait til it clears and keep the money or you can play along and let the cops get into it, what the bad guys gonna do.. report you... not happeining
15 day clearing process.... do what you want...I'm keeping it

I am so glad I saw this post because I received an email as well from a Mealnie Rice from Design Bureau Corporation. I googled the company, everythin appeared to be legitimate. I eve emailed her about the legitimacy f the company and job offer. She replied back to me aging there's nothing criminal about their company and they have every right to employ the US citizen and do business in the US. I did check their website which again appeared to be legitimate. Now after reading these posts, im super duper glad I've not proceeded any futher. She's suppose to get back with me on Monday for my first assignment, but I've got some leverage now! Oh and by the way, she sent an email to me offering me a position as US Financial Manager.

Hi please email me at singcoker@gmail.com. I would love to know the status. So far, no one is saying anything fraudulent about Lucas. They've mentioned other companies on this site, but nothing from Lucas. Please let me know. It seemed very legit. Ive done my research and there was nothing linked to him.

I am just curious of your outcome as well.

Yes I did, the money is still sitting my my savings account. I have not sent it on. I am out of town. I did talk with my banker and told me that if it does not come back in 15 days then the check has cleared. It has been 12 as of today.

Did he have you send it to Juriy Chitkitov? I read your post and put stop on the Money Gram payment and got tyhe money back. I am depositing back into my savings account tomorrow when the bank opens up. Did the check come from a Gary Shaw Enterprises, LLC and it was drawn on Wells Fargo. I called Wells Fargo and they told me that the account was a good acct, but they could not confirm if there was enough money for the check to clear.

Yes I did.  It was an awful experience and I had to pay the bank over $3000 that I did not have as I was held liable for the money.  I had to get a loan!!! Thank you for replying.  I didn't even see this post.  I really wish I would have known but honestly thought it was legit.  I just got an email from a Lucas Mila about the same proposition and I would love to just play along with him and turn it over to authorities!!!

My first email from them was that email address, the follow-up emails were from Luca Mila. I believe his email is mila.epsilontravel@gmail.com. I did not start to doubt it until I had to switch my email account to gmail because of a problem with hotmail. Gmail would not verify that mila's address was authenic. I do believe it is now a scam. Thank you for your warnings.

Hello,
I have also been contacted by Lucas Mila to represent Epsilon Travel as a Travel coordinator. I am supposed to recieve my first check anytime now. I too am thinking that this may not be legitimate. I also filled out the paperwork that was emailed to me. What got me thinking it may be scam was if he really did get my resume from Monster, all of my contact information was on the resume. Has anyone actually cashed a check from them. I am very cautious about this. Any info about your experience would be helpful. Thank you

Appreciate you all for the info. I also received an email from Melanie Rice regarding the position on Financial Manager with a monthly income range of $3000.00 to $7000.00. I knew it was not legit simply because there is no contact number or description on how a person is to get paid. The only number they have listed in the email(s) they sent me is a fax number (206-337-6985) to forward my signed documents. They pulled my info from Career Builder. The other odd thing is "Design Bureau Corporation" does not have an actual website but they're email address ends "designbureaucorporation.biz". Like the previous post stated, They are going after people who seem to NEED employment due to the economy.

OMG.....You have been scammed out of that money. The check you deposited was a counterfeit, and you sent them 'real' money and by the time you get word from the bank in about 2 weeks you will be minus 3250.00.  I received same information from a Melanie Rice with Design Bureau Corporation. File a claim on http://www.consumerfraudreporting.org, you probably wont get your money back, but it might make you feel somewhat better. Online scamming is the worst, you have no face to attach to it, it could be your neighbor and you have no clue who is stealing your money. I'm sorry this happened to you.

Hey guys this is an email I received yesterday and two others asking me to confirm that i recieved the email. Definitely don't trust it. The grammar is horrid. Salary is too much for someone with no specific job skill or certification. It's total bull! Don't get yours hopes up or waste your time.

I thought this was a legitimate company and know I am fearful as I recevied a check for 3250.  Deposited it and wired it to Russia.  I am so concerned about the safety of my personal information.  Anyone have any suggestions?

Hi there, I was just wondering if you ever heard anything back from Epsilon Travel and Lucas Mila.  I have been getting the same emails, but wanted to get some feedback before getting involved.  Did you start working for them?

Thanks!

Have either of you heard anything else about this company? I Received an email from the same "Lucas Mila" and I did everything I could to find out if this was a scam and it wasn't until after I sent my information that I found this website. He sent an email back saying that my papers were received and sent to the HR dept. and that he would email me on Monday with my first task. The employment application didn't ask for anything too personal. It didn't ask for a social security number or bank account number or anything along those lines. Just name, address, phone number, and education background. If either of you know anything else about this please let me know. My email is cprk007@gmail.com Thanks!
