Who are these people?

These people are connected to a criminal pharmacy scam - this number pretends to be the FDA (which doesn't regulate pharmacies) and then says your order was confiscated in the mail because it was illegal (the one supposedly coming from the other end of the scam where they steal your money for a prescription)and if you don't pay a fine they will arrest you.

I received a call today also from 206 701 7414 and they said they were the dea and were issuing a warrant out for my arrest and I would need to get a Lawyer. They said they intercepted a package that was coming to my house with pills wrapped in cocaine powder or something. I was so freaked out at this point and even though I thought it didnt add up, when placed in this situation its a automatic response. I found out this is a scam and when I did call the Dea you can tell the difference of the real offices almost immediately. Please to all reading this, report this to the Dea so they can open a investigation and it may not be a bad idea to report this to your police department. Who knows how far they could go with this scam. If they are willing to go this far who is to say they couldnt pull some sort of other type of s***. Please anyone who does get this pulled on them report it for everyone else to see. There are some lower than low people out there.

This con is still up and running. Beware, I almost fell for this crock of sh___, I am calling the FDA on monday and helping them to stop this.

the FDA has actually opened an investigation and a special investigator has responded to my email. The 206 number still states it is the "FDA department".

The organization behind the calls offering to send medication comes from LA California. The caller who identifies himself as Mark Anderson (probably an alias) The voice doesn,t match American name. He calls me from LA at 323-472-6448. He calls his company TELEMEDS,, based out of watson labs. This time I asked him all the meds he could offer me, as I was recording the call and have phone records. He said we have oxycontin 80mg as well as fentanyl duragesic patches to name a few. No online med company can even send scheduled II narcotics or any other class with 1st speaking with an MD and providing adequate documentation. When I told him I wasn,t interested he said that he is going to call the FDA now. The LA number and FDA threats are connected. He hasn,t called me since. But how dumb is this guy. If there was any crime committed he shound call the DEA and not the food and drug admin. Hope this helps. Any ideas as to what agency to report this to and provide with the phone records? Your help is appreciated.

Have been receiving harrassing phone calls from an individual who has been calling my number 4-6 timea a day for the past 4-5 days and is trying to get me to order and ship me scheduled II and scheduled III drugs. After repeated refusals from myself and my wifw who has also spoke with him, he finally called again today and claimed he is from the FDA. I found a posting on 800notes.com from people getting the same typeof calls and was urged to report it to you. The calls are coming from Seattle Washington # 206-701-7414. He claims that his name is Mark Anderson. I will certainly record future calls and submit to my local police.

I actually did order some antibiotics from India...thought it was Cana da. Anyway...got a call sometime later saying I was going to federal prison for 5-7 years. I needed a lawyer. Said they confiscated the package enroute and that it was illegal. I questioned this...as I already have the package. They said must have been resent by the company. I said.."I am going to prison for 7 YEARS for some antibiotics?" " not narcotics, but antibiotics?" They said yes. I said that is crazy. They said "nevermind sir...we will see you in a court of law."  Said it was confiscated from the Dominican Republic. I knew this was some type of idiotic scam....scared the s*** out of me for a second though!

This is their intimidation part of the criminal organization - the FDA doesn't do drug enforcement and if you could be arrested for a package we could all just mail one to everybody we don't like. Got a call stating they are the FDA and was told that if I didn't want a search warrant & issue for my arrest-I would need to pay a $8000.00 fine by the end of the day. I was to get the cash and then call her back to get the rest of the instructions.
She said there were 3 pkgs w/my name & address that were being held up in the Dominican Republic. They said that there were over 600 pills combined & due to this, I could get 5-7 yrs of prison time. I had no clue as to what she was talking about. I told her that this was a big mistake but she wouldn't listen. She just kept repeating "you got yourself in some real big trouble...what are your friends & family going to think when you have to tell them?"  She scared the crap out of me!!  I have never even gotten a parking ticket in my life.
