recieved a call from this number  206-734-4604  The man said his name was David Brown  and it  was a legal matter   siad his office is based in Washington DC  ( which the call is not  ) said he was  representing Robinson and Associates    would not give  any more information  but  know  this  kind of  call is a scam  to get money and to threaten people   I called them and told them I would be referring the number  and names to law enforcement  the  lady  started yelling at me    and she hung up    Please don't be fooled by these  people  they have  foreign accents and  try to  threaten people to  give them money  by saying that you will be arrested  I urge people to report these  people   as I do

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

my wife recieve a call saying they are going to sue us for monry we have not paid on a loan we got approved for.. So i googled number as scam and got this.. oh im going to call and give them a piece of my mind that is for sure... number thye are calling from is 206-734-4604

Just received Call from this #.  They blackmail, I have reported to the police too.

I got the same message. If i dont contact John Smith then I will be arrest and good luck. I tried calling back and there is no anwser. I did leave my lawyer number.

This number called me at work and at my parents number too. Telling me that I need a lawyer because there is warrant for my arrest and fed agents we be coming to my house to arrest me. A couple days later I get a call 1911 stating that I need to contact Agent Johnson (didn't give what agency) to turn myself in.

They will not give a company name and they are using names like John Smith and David (the so-called lawyer). Now Agent Johnson...What is this!?!?...I am really getting tired of this.

This number called me and tried to say I owe them for a payday loan and said he was sewing me

The owner of this number is using our law firm name as their own.  Someone is identifying themselves as working for our firm but 206.734.4604 is not our phone number.

Says Im a suspect in a murder. Will have the cops come & drag me off to jail tomorrow. Christy Carter she says is her name. Bad foreign accent hard to understand her English.

This foreigner keeps calling me leaving messages about this being very important that I get in contact with them or they will be suing me.  I have no idea who this person is and has reported them so many times on different websites.

Got a voice mail from this recording today.  Very hard to understand and had horrible gramer.  They used the old ploy of you will have doom and gloom on you if you don't return the phone call.  Said to ask for Christy Carter which is totally not her name.  When I did call the number back, there was no response so whatever.  They can all go screw themselves!  So it's most likely a scam but want others to be aware.
