It's still happening. My friend just got a call. They knew her PO Box number and asked for physical. I wish I would have said something when they couldn't spell Crochet. They identified themselves as Social Security. Same grant line. Said Ssi grant. She has an appeal in atm. # AL198 Frances Floyd 206 734 4715.. Scam. Thanks for this site. Btw this was to a cell not a land line.

Received a call informing me I have been awarded a grant from the government for paying my bills on time.  The woman with the mid-eastern accent kept asking me for the account number or credit card number I would like this grant applied to.  I was instructed to call her supervisor, Francis Floyd to confirm.  I checked this website first and concluded it was a scam.  Do not give out your financial information to anyone.... I don't.

The government does not contact people to offer them money. If you do qualify for a government grant, the government does not request payment for it.

THERE ARE NO FEES ASSOCIATED WITH APPLYING FOR A GOVERNMENT GRANT.
Providing financial information to prove that you qualify for a government grant is typical, but you should never pay money to apply for a grant. People who run scams often claim to provide help and sometimes claim to be "federal government" officials, don't be fooled by these scams that request money from you.

I got the same call today from Francis Cameran to call Francis Floyd from the U.S. Government Grants Department at 206-734-4715, I must call right away and give my Grant ID# to claim my $6700.00.  Of course no one answered, but I looked it up first to see if it was a scam.  I wanted to give them a piece of my mind...but no one answered.  Middle Eastern accent...this is the second scam call that I have receive in the last 2 weeks...the last one was that there was a warrant out for my arrest and they wanted to give me a chance to hire them as my attorney...not a sucker!!!  Both calls came from an unknown number.

theuy gave me the number of their Senior Office Frances Floyd to call her at 206-734-4715.

If anyone gets a call from this number 206-201-2529 it's a scam.  They said that I won grant money from the government in the amount of $6,700 with a grant relase number of NL578.  This is all bs.  The government do not give you grant money for paying your bills on time.
