Apparently you can't read or dpn't read the previous posts.  These are called ROBOCALLS..A person does not call you, a computer dials these calls down the line.  The computer also hhas everyones name.  These is no such thing as a PRIVATE -UNLISTED NUMBER .Just type your name into the computer or get on FACEBOOK--Everyone knows everything about you.  The more you answer the ROBOCALLS the more you will get called.  When you answer you are telling the computer that it has dialed a working number and when you wait to talk to someone they know they reached a sucker.AND when you try to call back their BLOCKED number the computer captures your number and identifies it AS A REAL B I G  SUCKER and puts you on a more calls list.

These are a computer specialist company don't have a computer but my cell phone putting a trace on the number

I received a recorded message on my cell telling me that my debit card was rejected. I don't have a debit card! I blocked them from calling again. I'm also reporting the number to the FCC.

I received several phone calls today from this number, but when I tried calling it back I got a busy signal.  It shows the call is from Washington.

Received a call from this phone number this morning.  When I refused to answer his question, the man began using profanity, calling me every vulgar, obscene name he could think of.  DO NOT answer this number.

We received a call from that number at a facility where I am employed. We have developmentally disabled adults who are considered incapable of making their own decisions. The caller asked for personal information. luckily my staff answered the phone and refused to give it to the patient whom the caller named.
very sleazy operation. report any calls which overstep the legal authority to solicit. I had half a mind to call my brother in law in Seattle and send him over to kick their a**&ss!

Receiving calls from this #.  Woman w/accent asks for "Miss Roberta".  I ask who she is and she gives me foreign name that I can't understand.  She asks if I'm "Miss Roberta".  I say yes, what is this about.  Talking in the background and then she hung up.

I have been awakened two days (5-31 & once earlier than that) at 6:45 am! I didn't answer either time because I am learning NOT to answer to a number that I do not recognize. However, I did answer to a different number right after I got my new (Verizon) phone. It was an East Indian or Pakistani male, who knew my name and wanted to ask me about any surgeries I had had, and give me important information about something to do with them. Sounded like it could be plaintiff law suit solicitations or some such nonsense. I had to forcefully keep saying over and over: "Do not call this number again, and remove it from your list(s) " and he was still talking when I finally hung up.

Here we go with these spam numbers calling again..they called at 12:30 p.m. on june 2nd and i didnt answer and they didnt leave a message so im blocking them but thats only temporary cause they get another number and just call back and then thats just another number i have to block

Just rcd call from this # on my cell phone. I answered as it was from Seattle, thinking it was someone local calling. He had a strong Eastern accent and I kept telling him I couldn't understand him, which seemed to fluster him. It sounded like he said he was calling from the U.S. Dept of something; then said the reason for his call was that I had been selected to received something; and at that point I said good-by and hung up with him still talking. BTW--I don't get many calls on my cell phone (more for use when traveling) and about 2 minutes before this call, one came in with an ID of 200-07 and I didn't answer that one--wonder if they are related!

I just got a call 2 minutes ago telling me

I got 53 dollars deducted from my next verzion bill. I use pre pay, I don't have a contract phone.

Told me to go to this website, I didn't.

Tried to call back but it said it wasn't a working number

This number called my cellphone, which is very unusual because I rarely use my cellphone or have it turned on.

These scamming idiots call from 206.777.1016 and several other numbers as well.  They do sometimes know your name.  Names and phone numbers are easy to come up with anymore so there should be no mystery when they call your name. This guy was talking once again about him getting a message from Microsoft that there are viruses on my computer. I explained to the scammer that I'am aware of the scam and that he was harrassing me.  He said he would not call back.  I called the number back after 30 minutes.  The number he had called from was now disconnected and not in service.  So it appears the number is used to call out only.  I was able to call them back in the past from one of their other numbers.

Recording in Spanish. My husband pressed zero to get a real person to tell them to stop calling. A female answered in Spanish and my husband asked, in Spanish, if anyone spoke English. The women said no and hung up

An Indian guy called my cell number (which I dont give out readily) and asked if this was {my name].  I said yes.  He went on to explain that someone has been hacking into my computer, and spouted off some ID code. I played along since I happened to be at a different computer, not any of my home computers.  I followed some steps (which I knew were not risky) to find the ID code on this particular computer, and it was what he said.   There is no way this computer could be associated with my cell number, so the code must be something common to a lot of comptuers.  I suspect the next step was for him to tell me I needed to do something so he could help me, but I told him I had to go and would call  him back.  Gave me a number of 4157120072 even though he called from 2067771016.

They called my work cell saying that my account ahs been locked and to dial #1 to be connected to a rep.

Begining to annoy me,calls everyday

Received call which hung up on voicemail.  Number blocked.

They have called me three times and say they are from a health department.  The first time I was too busy to talk to him.  He tried to insist that I speak to him - I hung up.  The second time he wanted to know if I had any chronic health conditions.  I told him (a man with a very heavy accent) that I would not tell him anything about my health conditions at all, ever, it was my personal private information.  He said I had to tell him.  I said I did not have to and would not and hung up.  Several days later he called again - I reminded him that I spoke to him last week and would not answer his questions.  He said he would take me off the call list.

I just got a call, also appeared to be Indian claiming to be from Computec. She wanted me to go to my computer so they could fix some sort of a problem she claimed I have. When I told her I'll run my own utilities to fix it, she said no, I couldn't fix it because I'm not a technician.i just hung up

The man said I had downloaded viruses onto my computer.  Wanted me to get on my computer so he could show me the viruses.  Foreign accent.  Persistent.  I hung up

Calls over and over! Done with it!

I am getting tired of these people calling - they leave no message - then they just turn around and call using another number.....sometimes the number shows up as only 4 digits.........

My friend was arrested and called me from jail, as soon as I accepted his call I got calls from the 206 number and a few others. Both other numbers were local numbers...224 and 630 so I answered and it was car insurance crap so I hung up. It has to be in connection to the slimy company that handles collect calls from jail Securus or Securustech.
