Just got the same call and i called the second number Britney Pyler, which I lover the american indian names don't you very hard to understand. Would you like a slurpee with that?? LOL
Said for me to call her when I get to the western union and she will give me further details but i need to pay the 280.00 personal transaction fee. If i don't western union will find out its a grant and they will charge over 4000.00 for the fee are they out of their freakin minds. I would love to see this scam artist and stone them do death like they do in the old country they came from no wonder why they are here. Hey but lets give them all citizenship yeah right.
i am going to call her back and tell her i am waiting at western union that way they can wste their time on the other end thinking they are going to make 280.00 Now I got the last laugh the b*****ds

My story is exactly like yours guys. I just recived a call from 859-472-2043. it is a number from Ketcuky. she told me that I am eligible for  $ 7000 free grant money, but the freaky part was that she had my address and wanted me to confirm it. this is crazy

Why would you give money to get money ... if they are truly giving you the gift they say they are then they can most certainly take any fees or taxes out of that money. I hope you find someone to help!

Just recieved the same call I also told them cash she told me to call right back and I told her had to think about it because of so many scams going on she was upset and said I needed to do this  and I said no way in hell.

Please advise all your loved ones to check with their local bank if they have questions about sceems like these!  Nobody is going to give you free money; they will always ask for something in return.  If the government is going to give you money you will either have to apply for it or you will qualify for a credit on your tax return.

I just got a call for a man with a strong Indian accent. He then told me to pay my bills and not to gamble or buy liquor.do I have to worry about my identity being stolen from these people?????

This afternoon my daughter got a call from 571-515-5555. The accent was from India , very hard to understand.  The man gave her a file code # and gave her 206-792-9451.  I didn't think it sounded right so I called, it rang about 30 times then went to a busy signal.  2nd time I got a hold of someone , Frankie, the person she was supposed to give her file # to was on the other line, call back in 2 min. I asked the girl on the phone where she was located, she replied Washington D.C. Looked it up and it is a Seattle, wa #.

Do not proceed with it at all just tell them not to call, its a 100%scam

I also called western union (money wire) that handles things like this and the man instantly stopped me when i broughtt up the situation and told me it was fraud

I recieved a call on friday telling me my approval number and a 206 number to call back and they are a scam they want me to deposit money to recieve the other money lol....

Yes, I just received a call from the same two #'s and they said I could get $7,000 of free grant money. The first call was from a women and she said I qualified based on some demographic's and I couldn't gamble or buy alcohol with the money. Then she gave me the second # and told me to ask for some guy named Joe Climmon with a thick Indian accent and it was very hard to understand him. He instructed me to go to the Western Union so I could pick up my money, however, to do the transaction I first must pay $310.00 dollars. how crazy is that!

Just received a call from a lady that was hard to understand with a lot of back ground noise (telemarketer room?),
that my name was just drawn to receive $7,000 in a VISA card, deposit to my bank or cash.  Of course I chose cash.

Asked her if I had to repay this money and she said NO, but that I had to use the money to pay bills, taxes etc, but that I could not gamble or buy liquor with this money.

Her caller ID on my phone was Kelly Pope 205-210-3482 and she advised me to call 206-792-9451 and give them my approval ID.  I did a reverse search on the 206-792-9451 and it said that it was a mobile phone from Seattle, Washington.  Of course I didn't waste a call to a unknown scammer.

Just got the same call. The man tried to get my mastercard number over the phone so i told him to take me off his list and he immediately got very angry and hung up.

I just got the same call... and was told I qualified for a $7,000 no re-payment grant too.... and to call a ? I thought a Sean Slagger could be swavger.... the voice was hard to understand... but she said it was from the US Gov't Grants Department, 200 independance ave., Building 5W, Washington D.C.    I did not call looking for more info and I darn sure am not giving out my bank accnt numbers... so I said send "cash" which I don't think wil ever happen... Yes I received a call from this phone number saying that I qualify for a 7,000 no re-payment grant? The voice was Indian and the connection was very bad, He asked me to call Tom Swavger to claim my grant money.....to date I have not called ....thinking its just a scamm...
