the number (206) 801-1186 repeated calling to my unlisted cell phone, never leaves a message & I don't answer unidentified callers.  What a scummy way to make a living!  Do they think they can harrass someone into paying something they don't owe?

Upon calling this number back, received a busy signal.

ars is calling my daughter that lives in other state, and does not have debts.they are calling my home several times during the day from  1-800-232-1258 ext,1095

Received calls from this number randomly, however, I do answer the phone and the line is silent everytime I have answered leaving me with no way to resolve anything or stop this from happening. I followed the advice posted above and sent an email to Lisa Fels. Hopefully, if enough of us follow up they will make them fix this.

We have received numerous calls from this number over the past several weeks. I did get a name...Katy... the one time someone was actually on the line. The answers giben to me were not clear as to wht they were constantly calling. This seems to be a collection agency...800-232-1258 is another number for them. We owe nothing to anyone and would not be in default of anything if we did. Things like this are extremely irritating and more needs to be done for the consumer to put a stop to it.

they called me on saturday march 8th, several times in a row within a two hour period. i will not answer numbers i dont recognize. called again last night at 845pm. remember, collection agencies CANNOT call ofter 9pm by law. so watch when they call.

I guess this is a collection thing, i have heard of the ARS thing that Richard spoke of. and i have called them back only to get no answer or a voicemail.... so im not sure who this number is calling but they should leave us a message so we know who the heck they are!!!!

Having same problem with this nonsense.  The contact info below is to someone who can help stop this.  I complained to her, and so should everybody else until MCI/Verizon contacts that business and tells them to quit that crap.

This number(206-801-1186)has called a few times and will ask for my mother or I, like they know us or something. We would ask what they need or who they are, they will either just hang up or tell us they will call back later. Does anyone know who these ppl are and how they get our numbers?? I have an unlisted number and I would like to know how they got my number. I have the same problem with another number that keeps calling us too. Does anyone know how to stop these kind of ppl from callin us and interupting our lives? It takes time away from me and my lil girl when I have to deal with idiots like that.

Called my phone at 5:24 PM and 8:25 PM, February 19th. No message.

These people keep calling me too.. she said is this....? I said yeah. i'm and operator in the area and I have a call for you.... ( next thing I heard was elevator music.)  I'm angry coz it the end of my billing cycle and I have yapped all my minutes away...

How do I stop this?????

This number has been calling us for a few days now, never leaves a message.  So annoying... it was "unavailable" when I tried to look it up in the white pages.  I got a busy signal when I tried to call them back as well.

We have received many calls from this #...800-232-1258...claiming they needed to speak with a member of my family. I, and my wife, called back to find out what it was concerning. It was a company called ARS, claiming to be a collections agency. We asked for some information on why they called time and time again and have never gotten a straight answer. They were also asked to supply something through the mail, which has never arrived. I asked them what address they showed and it was an address that was several years old. The rep, named Katy, was extremely rude and acted like the typical collections agency rep, as we had been told about. I stated to this Katy that the calls will stop immediately or futther action would be necessary on my part. We will see if the calls cease. We owe nothing to anyone and certainly would not be late or in default if we did.

Calling asking for David Mathis

called twice today. no message either time. On my cell phone no less. I have family members that don't have my cell number. How the hell did they get it? Then twice today I go a call from a local number and again no message. Keep it up either I will report to bbb or change my number.

Has been calling for about a week now. Every time I answer I am asked to wait on hold for a Joan Contreras. I always hang up. Calls seem to come in the evenings and weekends. Highly annoying.

Call came in three times as well, no message and calling like an emergency one after another after another withing a couple hours

They called and left message "Hello the following is a message form ARS we need to speak with you regarding a present business matter as soon as possible please call and ask to speak with Joan Contraras 18002321258" ARS is some sort of collections agency. They have been sued in the past for deceptive collections practices.

I'm not sure how I've gotten on their list because I no longer offer my number on any transaction. I have turned off my ringer, so I won't be bothered by this or any other company that uses such tactics.

Got a call from this number left no message at 11:19am CST.

Yes, just got this call as well.  At 6:37PM PST, California.  No message left whatsoever.
